I agree with some of your points op. I understand men have the tendency to cheat. I knew my dad cheated on my lovely mum, which made dem fight often. That is the way it is been done in UNN. Whenever you are caught especially if you are notorious. You name, reg number, department (atimes), what crime you committed will be written on a cardboard and the criminal wears it and he or she is paraded from faculties to faculties, hostels and some other important places in UNN, such as the UNN white house/office ( chai I have forgotten the name , it's been a while shaa).
Note: They are not police men but UNN security men. During my days in school, I heard they (UNN security men) are heartless than Nigeria police men and their underground cell is something nobody wish to experience( if you see yourself there, you won't know the day comes)
I heard so shaaaa and never wished my enemy to experience there

Present ma, I am 2017 bride by faith. Woke up at the middle of the night, next thing that came to my mind was nairaland, reached out my phone and went straight to the family section which I hardly visit unless it's a front page topic. Op, my own story is a bit similar to yours. Mine was a friend that we both went to the same secondary school and University. We were even in the same faculty.
He lured me and said I will make more money than the job which I got that period and was still contemplating to accept the job offer because of the pay. He made me reject the job and waste my tfare, gave them the last money I had with me. I felt so bad because I trusted him and he was a strong church guy.
I have forgiven him ooo but I have not forgotten, he will still refund that money when he least expect it.

Congrats OP. Your post really lifted my spirit a bit, not really the part of getting a job but the part you said that you didn't really achieve any tangible thing this year(i have felt this way since 1st of this month because I know the year is coming to an end but very grateful to God for life and health, not feeling this destive period at all) but God said not,gave you something to hope on.
I was so touched and shed some tears when I read your daughter's response after you have given her the good news. She felt mum was going through a rough time at her age. May God bless her and and come to the aid of those of us still seeking for a job.
