Career › Re: Drama In The Office As I Tender My Resignation After Getting A New Job. by MyNose: 8:01am On Feb 21, 2016 |
sirculynz: After my service July last yr, my company refused to staff me, that I can only be employed as a trainee engr which comes with only small stipend. So I wrote this particular test online on July for one multi national company in lekki. 2 months later I got a text from them to come for interview, I was surprised. I went there. I was interviewed by an indian, the interview was so intense, he asked me many questions including sm calculations on electrical engr, I tink I got most. That interview lasted for abt 30mins each prsn & we where just 15. On dec, I got a call from them to come for medicals. By Jan I waited for them, I was tempted to go & find out my status from them @ their office but I kept cool. So on wed evening as I was leaving office I got a call from the HR of this new company, & she asked me to come tomorrow for their offer letter. When I went there & saw their offer, it was wow. we were 7, they apologised to us for taking this long to finally recruit us, that we were the lucky ones out of thousands of applicants & they had to do thorough screening. Omo that night I couldn't sleep, happiness won kill me. So the next morning when I went to my office to resign, I first told my boss, he was shocked cos I was one of his top engrs that delivers well. When I went to the HR to submit the letter. She asked abt the new company & i told her. She quickly had a meeting with sm top ogas & even the MD. Right there, she printed an offer letter, I was shocked. So after all this while, na now una know my importance. I told her dt my new company is gonna pay me 3x this offer & it's an international company with job security. After I greeted sm friends I left knowing fully well I'm going to a far better place. I'm resuming this Monday & I can't wait to get started. So my fellow Job seekers, I wish u all the best. There are still good jobs out there u can get without knowing anybody. This year shall be our year of plenty testimonies. Please ignore my typo errors** Congrats bro, the best is yet to come. |

Politics › Re: Federal High Court Judge Overrules Supreme Court over Sacked Anambra Lawmakers. by MyNose: 3:22am On Feb 21, 2016 |
adeaks: The problem is that the supreme court declared the Oguebego Executive as the authentic executive but did not say anything on the election of the people tendered by the fake executive who contested and won the elections. People have only been reading their own implications into the judgment.
Inec CANNOT withdraw the certificate given to oduah and co without an express court order directing them to do so.
The Oguebego case was a pre-election matter dealing with in-house primaries. It had nothing to do with the election itself that brought in Stella oduah and co which can only be heard by an election tribunal.
The Suit filed by Awomolo and Co is for the supreme court to direct on which way to proceed. It would bring a final end to all the confusion we have currently. Justice kolawole's order is for INEC to wait until the supreme court gives a judgment one way or another in the current suit.
People will just berate the judge without understanding the issues. Justice kolawole is not a rookie judge not to have considered all the ramificatons of granting the injunction. And finally, he definitely didn't overrule the supreme court. The person who wrote the title is just being mischievous. Thanks a lot for this interpretation to enable people understands how things work. The OP wasn't well informed before writing this. His post is misleading. Thanks. |
Celebrities › Re: Let's Stop This Folly - The Bread Seller Story Is Fake! by MyNose: 5:59pm On Feb 20, 2016 |
[quote author=tolulakin post=43094968]As mouth-watering as the TY Bello/Jumoke Bread Seller, Photobombing story sounds, there are lots of common sense facts that point to the fact that TY Bello is just pulling a fast one on us.
I have always had one understanding of our world and especially our nation. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true. I will bring up three or four facts that make me really convinced that this bread seller story is not only a publicity stunt, but it is as well a major fool-the-public drama that TY Bello just used to get into all our heads!
1. Will a bread seller look so good? in the selfie she took with TY Bello, olajumoke was looking so cute that one would begin to wonder if she had been doing facial treatments all her life. But then, what do I know?
2. All of a sudden, she became a MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER! How foolish can we be? Just all of a sudden, a programme was to be held in Abuja and olajumoke was invited as the MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER....yes, SPEAKER! The topic was 'If we were the government'... So I asked myself, was she so educated before or did she become a motivational speaker just by virtue of being lucky or someone is just playing a simply stupid fast one on us?
3. Anybody who saw the picture where she allegedly photobombed the Tinie Tempah shoot will probably believe with me that she was a little bit overdressed to be a bread seller. She looked so good I began wondering, did she really photobomb this shoot or was she made up before the shoot?
4. So I heard Sujimoto gave her a house, STANBIC gave her an endorsement deal etc.... For what did a young lady who just got lucky deserve all these publicity and attention? For being lucky? Or for being a recipient of a TY Bello miracle? I guess we should expect an endorsement deal for the young man E-Money just gave a car and cash to if that is the way to deal!
You can call me as many names as you want for my non-conformist ideas....truth is, it will not change my belief that all these PR moves by TY Bello involving Olajumoke are ways of fooling our collective reasoning. I am certain even Basketmouth shares my views....maybe that explains his recent jokes about Olajumoke....he just wanted to tell us we are all being fooled in his usually funny way!
Y'all can keep getting fooled, Olajumoke will not become a prayer point for me for even a minute!
[/quote Obviously you don't believe in miracles. Study your bible well & you will know that with God nothing is impossible. I have being following this story & it's real. |
