Politics / Re: Anambra 1st Son - Tinubu's Presidency Will Destroy The Igbo People In Lagos by myobjective: 10:04am On Jan 29, 2022 |
cocolacec: The audacity to project Igbo interest in Lagos is what is problematic, to begin with. Why do these guys believe that there is anything called "Igbo interest" in a land that is not clearly Igboland is what we should question before even talking about boycotting their business. Why are the Hausas, the Niger deltas, and other ethnic nationalities in Lagos with investment and stake in the city not pushing the same narrative? 4 Likes |
Politics / Re: Anambra 1st Son - Tinubu's Presidency Will Destroy The Igbo People In Lagos by myobjective: 9:54am On Jan 29, 2022 |
NGpatriot: What is even problematic is the fact that these guys have a complex and believe that special status should be reserved for them in a place that is not their land. The fact that Yorubas can't lay claim to their land, push policies that will protect themselves or put Yoruba first. I'm only disappointed in my fellow Yorubas that can't see the handwriting on the wall. The fact that the hate for Tinubu is not borne out of any genuine consign for good governance or the progress of Nigeria but because they hate our gut and the audacity to lay claim to Lagos and every inch of Yorubaland that belongs to us. They will also hate an Osinbajo, a Fashola, an Akeredolu, and every Yorubas with any chance to get the top job in the land. 11 Likes 2 Shares |
Politics / Re: Herdsmen Kill Five, Injure Others In Fresh Attack In Ondo Community by myobjective: 8:03am On Jan 12, 2022 |
jneutron4000: Arimogija is a farming community where a lot of none Yorubas like Ebira, Benue and Igbos come to farm. It's not really a traditional town/village per say. That explains the presence of Igbos and other ethnic groups in that area |
Politics / Re: How Igbos Lived In The Olden Days by myobjective: 6:45pm On Jan 08, 2022 |
thebosstrevor1: Don't stylishly smuggle Fulani supremacists agenda into the conversation. The Fulani were the weeping boys under Songhai and Mali empire, they were marginalized, tossed around and ridiculed by the more powerful Bambaras and other Malian ethnic groups that were in charge. The Fulani control only started when they were taught the art of nation building by the Songhai, only in the 18th century. And even with that, they were mostly a savage tribe. That doesn't excuse the propaganda being pushed by the Igbos. |

yunqdady: Bro, ignorant people are many in the west and all over Nigeria. I don't know how old you are but things like that will not really troubled me. I just showed this our conversation to a friend from Kaba and he just laughed over it. Yorubaland is up to oworro land in Lokaja and Jebba in kwara. These are Yoruba and will always be Yorubaland no matter what some ignorant Yorubas think 2 Likes |

Sammy07: The guy has serious inferiority complex. He doesn't speak for majority of Kogi west people who Yorubas. I was born in the north and being from Ondo state (though mother from Ilorin) but since I stay and more used to my Ikare side, I tends to speak Ikare dialect more. You may not know though if I switched to the general Yoruba because I grew up among people from Oyo and Osun state but these groups still find a way to ridicule my Ikare dialect when Is speak it to family men. I'm not really ashamed to speak the Ikare dialect and I make it a point to explain to them that Ondo,Ekiti,Ijebu and Okun dialects are closer to proto Yoruba language than Oyo dialect that has shown my innovation due to their closeness with Nupes, Borugu etc. 4 Likes 1 Share |

yunqdady: I think you have a serious inferiority complex. How would anyone make me feel less 0f my self or disassociate myself from my ethnicity? I'm of Ikare and Ilorin origin, I speak Ikare dialect and I have had uneducated Yorubas from Oyo and other places try to ridicule me when I speak in Ikare dialect, I don't get offended I only lecture them that Ikare dialect is closer to proto Yoruba than even the Oyo dialect. Being from Akoko makes it easier to understand Kaba-Okun dialects because we are both eastern Yoruba speakers. In Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara and Osun state no one will mistaken Okun people has Egbira or Igala. They know and acknowledge that they are Yorubas. 4 Likes |

Politics / Re: Why The Apc,should Field A Muslim/muslim Joint Ticket by myobjective: 9:58pm On Dec 29, 2021 |
Lindodo20: Because religion is just a pretence for you not to vote a Yorubas. We know this amd we'll respond appropriately. The Igbos will not vote irrespective of the religion of the Yorubas on the ballot, we know this and we'll present our best bet regardless of what people like you think 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: Why The Apc,should Field A Muslim/muslim Joint Ticket by myobjective: 9:22pm On Dec 29, 2021 |
Lindodo20: Sorry to disappoint you, Yorubas will never consider religion in the choice of their leaders. We'll vote any Omoluabi irrespective of his/her religion. I know the plan of our disastractor is to divide us religions line so that we can be vulnerable against the vulture. No matter how tye enemy scheme against us, we'll always remain united. We're Yoruba first and be it Fashola, Tinubu, Osinbanjo or Fayemi a Yoruba will be supported on that ballot |

Iliya1520: The largest consumer market is in the south west followed by the south south. I don't know who is deceiving fellows like you. AeroplaneApple: You don't really get it, don't you? We produce so little and we consume too much. We're the typical being that live above their means. More like living a fake life. For example, our second largest import by value is refined oil. Infact, we spend about 20% of our total import earnings on refined petroleum. So, if we can produce enough for local consumption, we'll be able to save 20% of our current forex and spend that elsewhere, preferably on importation of machineries. We also need to reduce our obsession with foreign goods and spend our money on improving small scale industries, mechanized agriculture, agro precessing and small scale minings. 3 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Fulanis Are Outnumbering Kwara Indigenes - Governor Abdulrazaq by myobjective: 11:10am On Nov 02, 2021 |
Agbegbaorogboye: There is a problem with the mindset of the average core northerners. They are wired to fight the Fulani war irrespective if the policies is favourable to them. To him, Fulani should be allowed to continue their barbarism simply because they are Fulani. |
Politics / Re: Fulanis Are Outnumbering Kwara Indigenes - Governor Abdulrazaq by myobjective: 7:59am On Nov 02, 2021 |
NaijirianKing: Fulani is an insignificant minority group in Kwara. I think what the governor is trying to say is that the barbaric nomadic Fulani are moving the the peace loving Omoluabi state of Kwara and that has increase the insecurity in the state. Also, Yorubas are the overwhelming majority in the state and will continue to be. Fulani are a dangerous settler group that are not really welcomed in the state. 1 Like |

mrvitalis: We're not voting for Igbo presidency. The Yoruba see Igbos the same way we see Fulani/Hausa. We'll present our candidates and win without the support of the hateful easterners. The Hausa/Fulani north can gloat as much as they want but the next president is coming from the southern part of the country and Tinubu or Osinbajo is likely going to be your next president. 1 Like 1 Share |

The Igbos are inconsequential minorities in Lagos that henceforth will not be allowed to beat their chest. They are envious, callous, resentful of others but turn around to want the goodwill of the Yorubas. On what basis should the Yorubas continue to open their arms for the hateful immigrant from the east? 4 Likes 1 Share |

You own nothing and when the time is right, we'll show you the way to your fathers land in the northwest. In inch of Yorubaland will be lost to bandits and criminal Fulani terrorists. 1 Like |

In fact, the omoluabis in Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo will willingly share with our not so able brothers in Ekiti and Osun state. SarkinYarki: All available data shows that Lagos contribute close to 70% to the centrally collected Vat. Lagos needs this money to build infrastructure that is been stretched by all these economic activities and should not be sharing it with the 13 States in the core north. 2 Likes |
