If the Igbos shoulld continue with campaign of calumny against Any Yoruba leaders,Yorubas should boycott all Igbo businesses across Yorubaland.

The audacity to project Igbo interest in Lagos is what is problematic, to begin with. Why do these guys believe that there is anything called "Igbo interest" in a land that is not clearly Igboland is what we should question before even talking about boycotting their business.

Why are the Hausas, the Niger deltas, and other ethnic nationalities in Lagos with investment and stake in the city not pushing the same narrative?

NGpatriot:
The same Tinubu actually paved the way for igbo people to fully participate in everything in Lagos state from economic to political, administrative and social cultural activities.

Igbo people are the top presenters at Tinubu's TVC.

There are a million and one ways to secure your place at the table, but hostage taking, blackmail, tribalism, bigotry and denigration should not be your go to and default tools, unfortunately, many Igbo people don't think, they don't strategize intelligently, they just go for what they know and what their society told them and nurtured them to always pick as their main defaults, tribalism, bigotry, blackmail and other people are out to get us paranoia syndrome.

Sadly, you can not blackmail Tinubu because he did more for igbo people than your own igbo leaders.

It's even sad that this anambra son person is peddling this disgusting, crass and odious nonsense in 2022.

What is even problematic is the fact that these guys have a complex and believe that special status should be reserved for them in a place that is not their land. The fact that Yorubas can't lay claim to their land, push policies that will protect themselves or put Yoruba first.

I'm only disappointed in my fellow Yorubas that can't see the handwriting on the wall. The fact that the hate for Tinubu is not borne out of any genuine consign for good governance or the progress of Nigeria but because they hate our gut and the audacity to lay claim to Lagos and every inch of Yorubaland that belongs to us.

They will also hate an Osinbajo, a Fashola, an Akeredolu, and every Yorubas with any chance to get the top job in the land.

Nsibidi isnt a writing language but a pictogram or syllabograms.

If Nsibidi was actually a writing language then it would have been developed, look at the English language, the old king james version english developed to the present English language.

Why are the igbos not writing in Nsibidi?

You claim the igbos were not walking about naked but in skimpy clothes but there are lot of pictorial evidence that showed otherwise they were barely covered.

An hunter gathering society is the first stage of civilization, so how can they be more intelligent than an agricultural or pastoral tribes.

Unfortunately, many African tribes haven't passed the hunter gathering, agricultural and pastoral stages of civilization.

Btw, most pastoral tribes are known as the warrior tribes and elite tribes, small in number but love to be the ruling class, this trace have been found in the tutsi tribe, maasai ,fulani etc.

Don't stylishly smuggle Fulani supremacists agenda into the conversation.
The Fulani were the weeping boys under Songhai and Mali empire, they were marginalized, tossed around and ridiculed by the more powerful Bambaras and other Malian ethnic groups that were in charge.

The Fulani control only started when they were taught the art of nation building by the Songhai, only in the 18th century. And even with that, they were mostly a savage tribe.

That doesn't excuse the propaganda being pushed by the Igbos.

Next thing is, Ah Ondo Aje Aja bla bla. Their girls dey "Do ofo"

Etc, with that I go turn am to laugh that no be some people dey eat snake and Lizard ni etc

He now dey yarn nonsense.

The guy has serious inferiority complex. He doesn't speak for majority of Kogi west people who Yorubas.

I was born in the north and being from Ondo state (though mother from Ilorin) but since I stay and more used to my Ikare side, I tends to speak Ikare dialect more.

You may not know though if I switched to the general Yoruba because I grew up among people from Oyo and Osun state but these groups still find a way to ridicule my Ikare dialect when Is speak it to family men.
I'm not really ashamed to speak the Ikare dialect and I make it a point to explain to them that Ondo,Ekiti,Ijebu and Okun dialects are closer to proto Yoruba language than Oyo dialect that has shown my innovation due to their closeness with Nupes, Borugu etc.

They might have a Yoruba root, and Facebook isn't what you should used in judging.
Nothing Yorubaish about their language called Oko. Even Some Ebira bear Yoruba names, does that make them Yoruba?
Only Okun should be called Yoruba but as an Okun boy who has lived in South West before, I chose not to be called Yoruba cos of the tribalistic nature of Yoruba people. They don't know the difference between Ebira and Okun. To them, anybody from Kogi is Ebira and they say that in a condescending manner like you are inferior.
How is Ebira and Okun the same? No similarity. Yet those uninformed tribalistic bigots would open their dirty mouths to talk down on you like they are better. No matter how horrible or poor they are, they automatically have this energy to feel superior to you. Nonsense.

So why should I associate myself with such stupid people?
I like how Kabba people don't like being called Yoruba. It's Yagba people that you would see claiming Yoruba.
I only fill Yoruba on paper or when I want to avoid explaining.

I think you have a serious inferiority complex.
How would anyone make me feel less 0f my self or disassociate myself from my ethnicity?

I'm of Ikare and Ilorin origin, I speak Ikare dialect and I have had uneducated Yorubas from Oyo and other places try to ridicule me when I speak in Ikare dialect, I don't get offended I only lecture them that Ikare dialect is closer to proto Yoruba than even the Oyo dialect.

Being from Akoko makes it easier to understand Kaba-Okun dialects because we are both eastern Yoruba speakers. In Ondo, Ekiti, Kwara and Osun state no one will mistaken Okun people has Egbira or Igala. They know and acknowledge that they are Yorubas.

You don't really get it, don't you?

We produce so little and we consume too much. We're the typical being that live above their means. More like living a fake life.

For example, our second largest import by value is refined oil. Infact, we spend about 20% of our total import earnings on refined petroleum. So, if we can produce enough for local consumption, we'll be able to save 20% of our current forex and spend that elsewhere, preferably on importation of machineries.

We also need to reduce our obsession with foreign goods and spend our money on improving small scale industries, mechanized agriculture, agro precessing and small scale minings.

What type of tribalistic display is this??

Fulani are indigenous to Kwara State, what is the big deal if Fulani are fast becoming the majority tribe?

These types of statements put a target on the backs of all Northerners and Fulanis in particular. Fulani, Nupe and some Yoruba speaking groups share this state, the real issue is that Fulani are one of the largest, if not largest tribe in Nigeria.

The problem is that we don't have a proper census and Fulani are nomadic, so if you are not careful you will come to the conclusion that Fulani are not much. But Fulani may even be the largest tribe in this nation as there are Fulani in the North and the south of this country.

Let's not make such tribal utterances, but instead let us learn to live in peace.

Fulani is an insignificant minority group in Kwara. I think what the governor is trying to say is that the barbaric nomadic Fulani are moving the the peace loving Omoluabi state of Kwara and that has increase the insecurity in the state.

Also, Yorubas are the overwhelming majority in the state and will continue to be. Fulani are a dangerous settler group that are not really welcomed in the state.

What you are trying to do is divide tactics, but we can see through them. Enough is enough.

All Fulani are immigrants in Yorubaland including the Yorubaland in Kwara such as Kwara south, Ilorin(Kwara Central). You own nothing and when the time is right, we'll show you the way to your fathers land in the northwest.

And the funny thing is that about half of the Lagos IGR is being provided by SEners, and about 70% of Rivers state IGR is being provided by SEners also.

Proper economic planning and the installation of seaports at Oseakwa in Anambra and Obuaku in Abia, will quadruple the IGR of the SE states.

Adding Igbo areas in the SS stretching from Obigbo, to Opobo and Ubani, to Ogwashiuku to the SE will further help the Igbo economy.

Igbos will automatically be bestowed with the title of states with the largest IGRs

Igbos in the 4x5 shops in alaba and with their galla business are contributing 99% single handedly to the IGR of Lagos, Rivers, Ogun, Kano, Oyo and Kaduna but these hardworking developer forget to developed and contribute positively the IGR of Imo state that share a border with Rivers.

All available data shows that Lagos contribute close to 70% to the centrally collected Vat. Lagos needs this money to build infrastructure that is been stretched by all these economic activities and should not be sharing it with the 13 States in the core north.
