The government said categorically that the funds coming to that said state can’t pay electricity bill. Now this is bad but wait we have to brace up for the baddest as American will say. If Osun can cry like this what about zamfara.

The honest truth is that oil is dwindling due to many factors like :

1. The world today are becoming aware of environmentally impact of fossil fuel. We don’t want to die because of bad environment so people are avoiding what will polute the environment . the environment is fragile and we have to learn to leave in tune with her.
2. Today cars are not sold by how fast or beautiful the car is but how fuel and energy efficient the car is. God help you if you try to short cut this in Europe . if your still in doubt ask the volks wagen group what they saw when they discovered that there cars were not environmentally friendly. So today cars consume less fuel and this translate to less income for countries like Nigeria. No amount of brain storming session that OPEC session will have that will salvage it.

3. The killer of all is knowledge , ICT and information has virtually messed oil up. With automation and software upgrades cars are becoming hybrid where there are so lots of apps that will switch from electric mode to engine mode. Who wants to pay the post man to deliver a letter or document to point a where he can just scan and send . you see the carbon footprint has been reduced and people are buying less

4. Knowledge has seen countries like China investing heaving in renewable energy . Today china who used to one of our oil customers has one of the biggest solar farms in the world located at the Tibet region. This farm generate tons and tons of electricity which would have been power by oil ab initio but powered by sun. Though a bit pricey but environmentally friendly

5. Almost every country in Africa is oil producing and some called OPEC bluffs. So no more or little price manipulation. This is the simple laws of demand and supply . when a product is much in the market the price will definitely crash. No amount of law enacted by petroluem politicing will help here . countries must sell so keep your OPEC to yourself please.

6. Shale crude .l am worried if you are not. This was a master stroke that America dealt on us the so called oil countries . America ain’t buying , USA ain’t gonna buy ..the got shale bro ...they can even hit the lab and find ways to synthesis your damn crude

If you are seeing what I am seeing ...it looks bleaks for Nigeria unless we start thinking but how can we think were we have people that are more interested in politics than economy. The earlier we start investing in human capacity and ICT the better for us all. Failure to do this will see us in 20th century economy which we are still in.
Why do we want to spend so much on politics where that can be used in research and development , why do we put square pegs in round holes when we have the opportunity of taping from our global renowned scientist like umunna, emeagwali et al.

This is not about APC or PDP. This is about our future , this is about posterity. Failure to do this might have a devastating effect on our collective psyche on, economy and politics . who knows if we do not start doing the right things at the right time we might one day in future point to an old map to our kids and say ..here used to be a country that was called Nigeria

How can he confidently say the issues would be resolved in favour of Buhari. Is he the judge that will hear the case or does he think every judge must reason the same way with him. As a retired judge he should know that courts don't determine cases or issues in vacuum. The court has to consider the facts and arguments of the parties on the issues before it. This judge has not seen the facts or the arguments yet he is already saying how the case would go. Only God knows how he was handling cases when he was a judge.

I thought our learned lawyers always advice us that when case is in court we can't comment on such matter especially public figures ? I'm stand to be corrected if my assumption is wrong o.

Schools don't issue certificates twice.

I also lost my company CAC certificate and documents to flood, when I wanted to open bank account for the company and reactivate some, I have to applied to CAC for certified true copy of same, which they gave me. so took buhari more than twenty years to applied for certified true copy of his result ?. no problem sha court can help him get it, the case is in the court.

exactly my sentiment, for sixteen years if buhari knows that to contest for president he would need it what stops him from making efforts to get it ready, even now, the amount of time used to accused PDP and other people that believed he did have the certificate is enough to get it and prove them wrong. if buhari have the certificate, APC would not be saying why people go to court, they would have sue military instead of saying military just want to embarrass buhari

if buhari have certificates for all his military trains, why is he filling waec in the inec form, let him ask for certificate from all this institutions and present it nau. even if you learned road side mechanic they will give you certificate. the time you used to be researching buhari attended war college or not buhari would have used lesser time to applied to Cambridge or war college for his result verification.

But Buhari and APC said that whoever that is not satisfied with the result should go to court now. now people are not taking the law unto their hand, those who were not satisfied followed buhari & APC advise and they are still complaining.

All I see today is young Nigerians arguing without facts, disconnected from the nations history, having NO knowledge of the past, with defeated hope of the future. What is change if I may ask? We really don't have an idea. Change doesn't always mean a positive upward movement, it can also mean a downward trend, backward motion. And before you ask for it, you analyse situations on ground, in the past, with facts and figures and not just sentiments, and then you try to (based on this terms) predict the future. Now if the future shows a decline with the progress from the past and a detach from the present, then you have all full rights to demand change. But when you have no information about nothing but drawn from social media, TV screens, newspapers ad we keep shouting change, then we might be riding on the winds which is without substance and is therefor a journey to no where.

Lots of people who are guilty of cheating in schools want change, people who jump queues want change, people who cannot keep to a route on the road but shunt want change, people who are guilty of forging results want change, people who chat on their girl/boy friends want want change, adulterers want change, people guilty of murders and extortion, corruption and oppression want change and the list goes on. Nobody want to change personally to effect the change but we build hypocritical structures that cannot stand the test of time. Its time Nigerians wake up and put in proper perspective where we need to be. Its time for Nigerians to stop looking at TV screens and start using mirrors (TV screens shows others, mirrors show you.

Its time for Nigerians to start developing leaders who have a history of making upward strides at the grass roots, touching lives at the base levels. Its time for Nigerians to understand that a downward trend people cannot choose an upward leader, they will choose for themselves a downward trend leaders. Its time for Nigerians to build a lifestyle of integrity. Before you ask for change, change yourself first. Make changes in that little space around you (I mean upward trend changes). We also have to realize that the Presidential seat is not solely responsible for the happenings in the country, that is why he deepens his rule through the governors, Local Government chairmen and Councillors.

We also have representatives of the people like the Legislature (in our case the House of Representatives and the Senate). Its time to get really knowledgeable about these things. There is so much to know. Don't stop at knowing until you are sure you really know. What we need in Nigeria is not a partisan change but a structural change; we need a vision, a dream, a plan, a road map and we drive in the direction of that plan. Its not a war to kill people, but a war to kill our wrong mentalities. We have been slaves to our past and therefore have related with our future with the same mindset. Its time we begin to think properly and build a Nigeria that will stand the test of time through generations. Our children will not forgive us if we don't succeed in doing this. This is the time for a revolution, but not partisan (because the person who you are supporting in the APC may soon decamp to PDP and vice versa, so what becomes of you?).

Please if you believe in this, then pass this around, lets create an awakening, a revolution, not partisan but a dream, instilled in every Nigeria. We have today the American dream, we can have the Nigerian Dream too. We don't have to begin to individually tackle all areas of the Nation like education, agriculture, research, and the likes,no, a Dream can take us there. A Dream is a holistic picture of the future which once imbibed, direction becomes an easy decision to make. Its not GMB thing or GEJ thing, it is a Nigeria thing, It is called the Nigerian Dream. Politicians only succeed in manipulating you to think like them therefore getting what they have longed for, but we can go beyond them and build a Nigeria that works regardless of what party is in power. I SALUTE THE NIGERIAN NATION, I SALUTE THE NIGERIAN DREAM. PLEASE PASS THIS ON, ITS TIME TO BE PROUD OF YOUR COUNTRY NIGERIA.
