PoliticsRe: My Academic Certificates Are With The Military - Buhari to INEC (But: Why?) by myola(m): 6:26am On Dec 31, 2014
londoner:
This is not the first time he has contested. So INEC must have sighted the certificates before, right? Or are they saying that in previous times they did not follow due process?

Buhari should just produce them. If he is one to really follow the rules, he should have no problem producing them. Any job that you appy for that has minmum entry requirement involving certs. will ask to see them, because by applying you would have suggested that you hold the certificate/qualification.

If he is disqualified for this, although it will be a tacic, but it will entirely be his fault. Who knows, if that happens, his party may be forced to choose his vice as presidential candidate and choose another vice candidate.
you're pointing to another angle that nobody thought of o, this exposure of buhari cert. might be from tinubu and co.

So the previous yrs when he contested did u hear such from inec, or do you think as big as this country someone of his calibre would come out with false acquisitions against Nigerian army which is presently being headed by GEJ.... Abeg try reasoning properly before you gush out trash on here
its not inec that is complaining now o, inec accepted his affidavit but every contestants academic qualification has to be on display for general public to see, it is the general public that are asking him now. inec is not saying they are disqualifying him for that, though someone can go to court to demand for his/her right to compel buhari to produce it before election or face disqualification, and thank god we have SAN as VP. its either buhari no get cerboke or he is hiding it from public scrutiny.

Note that Buhari was head of that military board in those days. Therefore, with a phone call to military board, Buhari can get the certificates.
So, why is buhari afraid of presenting his certificates?
there is change indeed! this is the first time we are concerning about their qualification on inec display. before now we took it for granted that if they say they have it they have it, it either buhari has been using affidavit in all the previous contests or because of issues raised by ibb on buhari not passed any of the exams, buhari don't want public scrutiny on his certificate. buhari has been rising on man known man with federal character policy. if buhari can easily called bank manager to organized loan of 27million naira, why can't he used same influence to asked secretary military board to retrieve his certificates. its not too much if we ask buhari what his certificate both original and photocopied is doing with Secretary military boards. Osinbajo is providing legal backing for buhari not to show us his academic qualification, this is legal fraud if you asked me, they know inec have to accept the affidavit and they have achieved denying public verifying his claimed of academic qualification.

Much ado about nothing. This is a decoy to deflect accusation from PDP that some APC governors are using state resources to fund Buhari's campaign. Anyone who believes cash crunch will hit a platform with 14 sitting governors is on a long thing.

Buhari with no sitting governor , senator, HOR member, could mobilise to fund a partially successful campaign in 2011, how much more in 2015 ?

When campaign starts fully next week, the doom in some peoples imagination will blow up in their head. grin.
but not with 200million naira to campaign, that will not even covers two state. unless GMB is not tell us the truth.

Because you are required to.

Each application is not an extension of the other.

The process ends at each election circle.

Each process terminates at the end of the election.

This is a different election.

You may have upgraded yourself for instance.

Or you have downgraded from your previous qualification.

Whatever you claim must be backed up with the copies of certificate and originals sited by INEC officials.

BTW, is this Osinbajo's first 'Oluwole' input as a SAN? He similarly 'handled' his godfather's certificate scandal some 12 years ago.
he was the one who advised GMB to go do affidavit and present nau

If for a job as low as office clerk or cleaner, presentation of certificates is one of the criteria for getting the job, how much more the number one office in the land? Let's be realistic here. Sambo's reason was tenable to some extent. But for Buhari, he should go to the military secretary and retrieve his credentials since they are still intact except the military office is in the land of the dead.
what about his secondary school leaving certificate. he should present that one nau.

GMB fight corruption to the last level and anybody who can fight corruption already solve 80% of Nigeria problem... For example more than $20b have so far been spend on Electricity and today nothing to show for it that is Corruption, so many graduates could not secure a good job do to man no man that's is corruption, more than $20b have also been spend on the military and nothing to show for it cos there people who are embezzling that money somewhere and with that no security that is corruption... Alot of retirement scams everywhere that is part of corruption.. So with that is Buhari can tackle corruption, Nigeria will be a better place just like 83-85 shikenna
instead of us waiting for buhari to come and enforce discipline for us why can't we youth that want change start by been self-disciplined, we all know the right things to do, let do it let start from the little one we can contribute, we are all guilty of corruption one way or the other not only financially but in all ramifications. if we can make self efforts to discipline ourselves we wouldn't need another corrupted entity to come and enforce discipline.

because maitatsine was not as advanced in tools as boko haram, no suicide bombers recorded, no military and political sympathy, no incitements against federal government and there was cooperation among the stakeholders, maximum forces was applied without anyone seeing it as victimized. everyone were not throwing blames instead they supported the FG to tackled the insurgent, no external supports for maitatsine recorded, Muhammed marwa was known and visible enemy and know where to find him, he was bold enough to showed his identity, was not hidden, no mutiny and mutiny encouragement. and many other factors. if you can itemized all this factors you will see the difference BTW the two insurgents. thanks if you can correct me if my opinion is erronously made.

they all failed in their responsibilities even our religion leaders, but they all find it easier to blamed others. you need to be strong redeem member to know how they run their own affairs and tell me if corruption is not in church, what welfare facilities is in place for their members with amount of money they are generating. how many times pastor JT cries out when the church imposed books that supposed to be free for small children at times five the price of producing that books, how many times did he cries out when all the priority of you rising up in redeem is about how much you remit in your parish, how many times has he asked their civil servants member who paid millions as tithes and offering how much their salary and where the millions they contributed came from. all is well if they benefited. if he actually want to says the truth, he will realise the common man problem is not from the fg but majorly from grassroot politicians that failed in their duties. those who feels fg impacts are the super rich among us, and when is not in their favour they instigate us with little money, if it favoured them its them and their family and those closer to them.

Buhari cancelled it for good reasons. Lagos State did not have the money then. There have been dozens of administrators and governors since Jakande who never revived the project for the same reasons. Jonathan himself did not revive it in cooperation with Lagos State. On the other hand one is still planned for FCT Abuja (if they can find the money). Pleas do not blame Buhari for a very wise decision. The whole reason for lagos BRT was that money was not immediately available the metroline that is being constructed now.
and no money to continued free education too? I wondered where awolowo found fund to run the projects in south west then.

I mean! He made a point that could actually mark the end of insurgency if refined and used. If only the 'general' would engage those generals now to help combat the menace the better for us all. Those people getting killed in the north are humans too who have plans for a better life and go out everyday in an effort to achieve this. They have done no wrong! The easiest thing to do here is lambast and lampoon the incumbent as we wish but where will that get anyone?! If the 'general' has anything to be done about the insurgency in 2015, better for him, and us all, to sincerely start getting it done now!...
people who reason like you on online media are not much. we have lots of secondary school students and glorified secondary school student that called themselves undergraduate and graduates commenting some of them venting their frustration on anything that comes their way. as we are talking now you needs to see what some patriotic youths are doing to help themselves and the nation in general. if you go to agric section of this forum you will see how reasonable youths discourse how to be self reliance without insulting each other, you will see maturity at play, those are the people that want to move this country forward with objective criticism.

you are stupid for insulting that fellow! What he posted follows a sensible line of reasoning, why does he not use all that clout to help put insurgency to permanent rest now than wait until february until something starts getting done about it. Jonathan is Nigerian, he is a Nigerian, it's Nigerians who are being killed incessantly here. Some here have constantly, without fail, labelled the incumbent as 'clueless' and what not and that's ok, now let the 'clueful' general pitch in and help put an end to the meaningless&heartrending massacre! Is that too much of a reasonable idea for you...
I just realized most people commenting on this forum are either secondary school children or refused to grow pass that stage despite they have come of age, that is why they always resolved to abusing instead of present their points maturely and objectively.
