part of my civic responsibilities is to contributes to development of the nation and that includes to expose fraudulent claims. buhari is accountable to the general public the day he asked for public votes. the reason INEC is displaying candidates qualification is for the public authectification, by displaying it for public if anybody have objection they can come forward. if you don't want people to scrutinize your private certificates you wouldn't contest for public post. it shows that you don't understand political leadership, buhari you are defending would not said my vote doesn't count and he's not accountable to public.

The Military Education Level 1 Programs which BUHARI did lasts for 10months for residency and 2 years for distant learning. Buhari did residency and was there between 1979-1980. On completion of this program, "Students may earn a Master’s degree in Strategic Studies in both the resident and distance programs, accredited by Middle States Commission on Higher Education
Resident program graduates are granted Joint Professional Military Education-Level II (JMPE-II) credit".

The Military can only have photocopies of certificate you provided to them at the point of recruitment also he would have records with the Nigerian military but what is in question here is his certificate prior his military career, the certificate that earned him entrance into Nigerian military.

Now I am not sure what the lowest entry requirements is or was for the Nigerian military in 1962, assuming it is senior school certificate, then the military has no obligation to provide the photocopies he must have submitted prior entry.
It's is GMB's duty to contact the secondary he had attended in 1962 to ask for replacement, in a situation where the school doesn't exist anymore, the ministry of education should have it.
In the case where he provided an affidavit, such affidavit should detail the institution, the type of certificate and the year obtain.
With such the organization being presented with the affidavit could proceed to appropriate ministries for investigation.

Reminds me of when Orji uzo kalu came to my school in 1999, while addressing us he mentioned that he was a labor captain the crowd went awol, with students running to the prefects board room to search through the prefects board from 1929 till we found his own.
Lo and behold his name was there.

What the military board has are I think copies of the original as they, the military were his sponsors to those courses and as such needed to keep them.

the Oga was not displaying any stupidity at, if you are a military man or you have access to information about military best practice please educate us, so that we will know now. that aside, if military truly locked up their credentials, and refused to released it to them even after so many years of retirement, they must have signed off their right to do any other job except of been military man and if that is the case buhari is breaking that rule, don't you think so. why I wouldn't agree with you is because OBJ presented his own cert. or so they said.
