Newly crowned Asian champions Qatar have climbed to 55th in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, gaining 38 places – and reaching their best position since 1993 - on the back of their stunning success in UAE. The AFC Asian Cup has been responsible almost all of the notable changes in this, the first Ranking of 2019, with the scarcity of games in other confederations leaving the top 20 unchanged – and Belgium still inpole position. Further down the table, Qatar aren’t the only team to have ascended in spectacular style. Fellow finalists Japan (27th, up 23) have also soared up the order, while Korea Republic (38th, up 15), United Arab Emirates (67th, up 12) and Jordan (97th, up 12) all registered double-digit gains. There were also significant upwards moves by thelikes of Iraq (80th, up , IR Iran (22nd, up 7)and Uzbekistan (89th, up 6).Another consequence of these changes is that Asia has boosted its numbers in the Ranking’s top 50. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch has confirmed an underwater video footage shows one occupant visible in the wreckage of the plane which was carrying Cardiff City footballer Emiliano Sala. The wreckage of the plane which was carrying the footballerwas found in the English Channelon Sunday morning after almost two weeks. A private underwater search team located the aircraft and informed the families of Sala and pilot David Ibbotson. David Mearns, who led the privately-funded search, confirmed the plane was identified by sonar off Guernsey at around 9am on Sunday. MySportDab report AAIB officials arrived at the site to inspect the wreckage and have nowissued a statement. They said: "Having identified a priority search area last week, the AAIB agreed a search strategy with Blue Water Recoveries Ltd to maximise the chance of locating the aircraft wreckage. "The AAIB commissioned specialistvessel Geo Ocean III and Blue Water Recoveries Ltd commissioned FPV Morven and thesearch area was divided between the vessels. Both vessels began their search on the morning of Sunday 3 February. "Early in the search, the Morven identified an object of interest on the seabed using its side-scan sonar equipment. It cleared the immediate area for the Geo Ocean III to use its underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to survey the area of the seabed in which the object was located. Based on analysis of ROV video footage, the AAIB investigators on board the vessel concluded that the object is wreckage from the missing Piper Malibu aircraft, registration N264DB. "The ROV carried out a further search of the area overnight, but did not identify any additional pieces of wreckage. "Tragically, in video footage from the ROV, one occupant is visible amidst the wreckage. The AAIB is now considering the next steps, in consultation with the families of thepilot and passenger, and the police. "The image shows the rear left side of the fuselage including part of theaircraft registration. "We intend to publish an interim report within one month of the accident occurring." Emiliano Sala's Father has reacted to news that the wreckage of the plane carrying the missing Cardiff City footballer was discovered in the English Channel. The Piper Malibu N264DB that had been carrying 28-year-old Sala and pilot David Ibbotson, 59, disappeared over the English Channel on January 21 after leaving Nantes in France for Cardiff. Two vessels, including one commissioned by the AAIB, using sonar had been taking part in a fresh search covering an area of around four square nautical miles. Speaking at his home in Argentina, Horacio Sala said he was “desperate” after a privately-funded search operation found the aircraft in waters north of Guernsey on Sunday. “I cannot believe it. This is a dream. A bad dream. I am desperate,” Mr Sala toldlocal broadcaster Cronica TV. “I communicated with them every day, but since I do not have WhatsApp it’s hard to call them or call me. “They told me that the days passed and there was no news of Emiliano or the plane.” Marine scientist David Mearns, the director of Blue Water Recoveries, led a team on the search vessel FPV Morven while the UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) also sent a team aboard its the Geo Ocean III. Mr Mearns tweeted: “Wreckage of the plane carrying Emiliano Sala and piloted by David Ibbotson was located early this morning by the FPV MORVEN. As agreed with the AAIB they moved the GEO OCEAN III over the position we provided them to visually identify the plane by ROV. “The families of Emiliano Sala and David Ibbotson have been notified by Police. The AAIB will be making a statement tomorrow. Tonight our sole thoughts are with the families and friends of Emiliano and David.” MySportDab report the privately-funded operation on behalf of the Sala family was made possible after a campaign raised more than £260,000 to pay for it. Manchester City Striker Sergio Aguero has admitted his third goal against Arsenal on Sunday was handball. The Argentina international netted a hat trick against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon in a 3-1 rout. The other day I scored early and we lost, today Iam very happy.” When asked about his third goal that hit his hand, the Argentine added: “I think it came off my chest, but now I see on TV it was a handball.” Aguero's City team-mate Fernandinho quickly jumped to his defence, saying: “It was a goal. It doesn't matter." However, MySportDab report Liverpool fans have taken to social media to slam Aguero, claiming the goal should have been ruled out. One fan said: “Aguero handball, but of course it won’t be talked about because he’s ‘doing what’s best for the country’.” Another added: “After his shocker at Anfield, Martin Atkinson 'rewarded' with the biggest fixture of the weekend? Emiliano Sala's family have been told that the missing plane he was travelling on has been found at the bottom of the English Channel. The former Nantes striker, who had signed for Cardiff City just days before his disappearance, made headlines across the world in January when the plane disappeared over the English Channel. According to Sky News, Sala's family have been informed that the plane was found this morning after an underwater search. David Mearns, a marine explorer, was in charge of the operation, working alongside the Air Accidents Investigation Branch. A statement will be made on Monday morning following the latest development. Real Madrid Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has suggested the club sign former teammate Eden Hazard over Neymar Jr. Los Blancos are still keen to sign a new replacement following the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus in the summer. MySportDab report Neymar and Hazard have both been heavily linked with the Bernabeu but a move is yet to materialise. However, Thibaut Courtois would choose Eden Hazard ahead of Neymar as a blockbusting signing for Real Madrid this year. Courtois played alongside his Belgium international team-mate for four seasons at Chelsea before moving to the Santiago Bernabeu last August. In an interview with Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad, the 26-year-old goalkeeper said: "I [would] choose Eden, of course. I really like him, but the choice is up to the board. "I do not know what will happen. That is not a question for me, but for the chairman and the management. "The team is what it is now. Karim Benzema is in a good shape and scored 17 goals. [Gareth] Bale started well, but then had to deal with injuries. "You see in the matches that we have quality, only sometimes it is not possible to score." It has been revealed that an experienced pilot was chartered to fly Cardiff City striker Emiliano Sala from France, paid for a 'rusty' replacement to take the flight. 60-year-old David Henderson was originally feared to be on the plane which has gone missing for days now because he used his bank details to book the flight. According to The Sun, Henderson couldn't fly that day and recruited David Ibbotson in his place, asking "do you want a weekend in Nantes?". Mr Ibbotson, who was known to have financial problems, is said to have told Mr Henderson that he had lost his credit card. This led to Mr Henderson having to pay for Mr Ibbotson's hotel in France, and for the flight itself. Mr Henderson's details were accordingly given to officials at Nantes-Atlantique airport, leading to initial fears he had been piloting the doomed flight. In fact it was Mr Ibbotson who took control of the plane, and aborted three attempted take offs in terrible weather. MySportDab report an hour into the flight, Mr Ibbotson told air traffic control he was reducing altitude from 5,000 to 2,300 feet over the Channel Islands. More: Tennis Star Andy Murray Receives Giant Teddy Bear Gift From Stan Wawrinka After Surgery (Photo) It later emerged Cardiff's record signing had expressed fears for his life in messages sent to close friends. In a WhatsApp voice note, he said in Spanish: "I'm on a plane that looks like it's going to fall a part". It is understood ice on the wings is the likely reason behind the plane going down.
