I was so pissed off.

I have gone through all the comments here, from what i can deduce- its true some people are frustrated not because they really want to be but because of envy [the truth is really hitting them on the wrong side.]

I tell people being a virgin doesn't equals to u having the best marriage or love story. Having said that, this should not mean that virginity shouldn't be celebrated. It is a pride of a woman for crying out loud . Almost all guys pray their future wife is a virgin. Because there is a blessing n glory attached to it from God.

Nevertheless, non-virgins shouldn't be condemned also. Judge not, we are all sinners.

Also, non - virgins should not always take it personal when their counterparts are being praised. It ain't their fault na haba. Cos all i see is bitterness, Jealousy and envyness...

People should learn to relate with each other well even if they have different opinions n views. Virgin and non virgins - strive to develop yourself in all aspect n have a good character because in marriage only sex will not keep u there forever. #Ask ur married friends#

NB: It is not everybody that one gives reply to. Some people are not worth the stress cos of their low IQ n shallow level of reasoning.

Being a virgin doesn't mean you aint permitted to talk about one's sexual preference to each other especially during courtship not dating o.
For crying out loud, there are so many books out there that one can read to understand opposite sex bodies.
Also, during courtship Christian couples will generally talk about that and learn so many things about each other.

Guess ur example above is for those who didn't really get to know about each other's preference. Because if they discussed she would have known her hubby like mouth action and they would have agreed on something

I think it is wrong for people to say that when you marry as a virgin, its hard that have full sexual satisfaction or rather the couple will find it difficult because they are new to it.

I tell people, those who are sexually active now where once a virgin. And it didn't take long for them to adjust to the stuff. Eg a 15 year old boy or girl. Why then will it be difficult for couples who married as virgins.

Highest it will take them 6 months to adjust and to know about each other's bodies and what turns them on. Marriage is a lifetime thing. It's not like you are dating. Even if it takes them 1 year, they are going to spend the rest of their lives together. So, for me i think it's worth the wait.

Don't mislead people... If a teenager could quickly adjust n learn the ropes, what then is it a big deal for a full grown adult to learn.
If you ask most married people, you will know that once you are married everything will not be about sex there are so many responsibility that the sex that is *chaking* will be the least thing.

People should learn from our grandparents who married as virgins. They had a wonderful marriage that you hardly hear of divorce.
But our so called *jasi* generation who thinks sex keeps a man n engage in it, is the one with high rate of divorce. So, you see the difference.

Moreover, God condemns pre marital sex. It is a sin. We should try and live a life pleasing to God.

If the kids ever goes into federal Universities, they will have psychological issues when mixing with older, bolder, more intimidating peer group.

In my own opinion, i think you are wrong in saying that. I know of some people that graduated from secondary school at the age of 14 or 15 years and are far more matured in all ramifications than the older ones. Not only in books.

Infact, you cannot ride them cos i went to a boarding school, instead they will be the one to ride you sef.
It was in ss3 we got to know their ages, by that time we all were surprised because they actually didn't behave like their age. They were so strong, wise n matured psychologically than the seniors.

So, you see, age is just a number. God blessed some people with wisdom, knowledge that u can't start to phantom.

And who says they can never compete in the real world- i think you have not really met great people. There are some people that are so mature that u won't believe it when they tell you their real age. People meet them for advise.

You should never judge people by their age and stop making generalising.

I understand what you are trying to say- esp for those rich kids who are intelligent and brilliant, but nothing more outside that. But for those kids that went to federal schools they tend to be more matured

In conclusion, i think the right thing is for parents to study their child n assess him/her overall to actually know if he is just good @ books n not yet psychologically matured.
In a situation where the guy is just brilliant n nothing else, they shouldn't allow him have a double promotion, so as to mingle with people of his age group well to know how blend well n grow up rightly.

No matter what people say, don't ever give up now, you have come to far fromewhere you started from.

My guess is that u r in your 20's, in a matter of time your God-given husband will locate n you will enjoy the over hyped*** forever.
It's a matter of time. Don' t be discouraged about the fact that everyone is against your decision.

Like you rightly said, God's grace and favour will always has always been with, this is because your body is still holy which is his dwelling place. {I can very well testify to this also.}

However, don't rely on being a virgin alone, build yourself up for to- be-hubby- be courteous, have a good character, improve on your cooking skills and be prayerful above all endeavor to live a holy life all through and your marriage will be a great one n a reference to younger ones.

Lastly, don't always tell people about ur the status of your virginity, so you won't be misled. *Guess what, many girls here wished they were still one n guys also wished their babes were still a virgin. Hence, the reason for the insults..*

Op, Thank you so much for this piece of advice. You have said it all- the whole truth.

It's just that the truth is bitter at times, actually am sure most people knows this is the truth, but they are just blinded by youthful exuberance.

For those who have lost it already, don't be disheartened by this, pray for God's grace n desist from fornication and all other forms of sin.

To the Virgins, pray for the grace to stand firm till you get married and also ask for His grace to resist fornication n temptations from the devil.

Firstly, You need to make up your mind that u want to stop it by deleting all such pics or videos you have on your phone, then ask the Holy Spirit to come into you and purge you off of all this. Pray for God's grace n mercy.

Secondly, DO NOT STAY ALONE, being alone might cause some temptations. Always, make you are in the midst of people. Do not stay alone in a room or n enclosed place. Always be in a gathering of at least 2 people.

Thirdly, stay away from anything phonographic in nature such as magazines, porn sites, 18+ music videos n films, as all this will not help u.

Also, you might not want to subscribe for data for now.. So even if temptation comes, u won't have data to browse such sites. Keep good friends that will influence you positively.

Heaven help those who help themselves.
Above all, pray for grace always and ask the Holy spirit to help you desist from this sin.
