RomanceA Story Of Sacrifice And True Love.. by MzDeeb(op): 2:28pm On Dec 30, 2015
In a continent like Africa where social welfare is lacking, your siblings, family members and well wishers become your social welfare support system. One of such is Vincent Adeoba whose mum died when he was 4. His dreams of becoming a graduate is fulfilled because of one woman who sacrificed her education for his. His sister, Morenike is his heroine! Read Vincent Adeoba story as written on Facebook: Losing my mum and dad at the age of 4 is the darkest moment of my life. People don’t know why I am so passionate about quality education for every child and the inspiration behind the Sera Schools Initiative, an NGO I run which is committed to helping indigent students in public schools across the country. It is the woman in this picture. I know she can’t read what I am writing here because she sacrificed her own education for me but I am glad her children can and my success today is her success. She is another Mother Theresa the world is yet to celebrate but I will. She is the major heroine of my success. She picked me up when everybody abandoned me. Let me tell you little out of the many stories. May 9,1994 is a day I will never forget, it is the darkest moment of my life. I was just four years old then and I woke up that day seeing people crying in our compound. What happened? I didn’t know until I saw my mummy lifeless body being brought into the partially completed building we were living then. Mummy died that day and it was like everything was over, our world collapsed unexpectedly. My dad had died earlier, death taking my mum away again was like God decided to punish us for reason we never knew. Being the 2nd to the last born, I was abandoned with our last born Gbemisola as family members came around to pick the matured ones among us. Sister Morenike was just 19 then but she refused to follow the person that came for her, she dropped out of school and started working to provide money for my grandma who was taking care of us then. Grandma couldn’t live long, she couldn’t get over my mum death and she too passed away. Sister Morenike came back, she took me and my little sister who was a year old then and took us to Akure. She was 20 by then. She became my mother and that of my little sister. She put us in a lesson which was where I received my first education since she could not afford money to put us in a school. She told us that though she may never go to school again but that we will go and that she will do whatever she can to make us educated. Lovely sister though I was 5 years then, I can still remember how you worked in a food canteen washing plates and many times you always bring your food for us to eat. After some months in the canteen you raised money and venture into hawking small white beans that was common then to sustain us. From there you moved to hawking Maggi when you discovered that you could make more money there to feed us. You will hawk from morning to night so as to have money to buy akara and garri which was our best food then. You later moved to Oja-Oba to start selling Okra and pepper and I have to join you at the age of 7 to start hawking and it was in the market under you that I learnt most of the things I know about business today. I can remember how rain always beat us in the market and how we always cry together anytime our sales proceed got stolen. You sacrificed everything for me and today I am a better person, at least I am now a graduate and not an okra seller as many of my mates then are still in Oja-Oba. I am shedding tears already I have to stop here. Thank so much for beating me anytime you discovered I didn’t go to school. The only assignment you could only do for me while I was in primary school is Yoruba but I am grateful you have once being my teacher. Aunty “Meeke” was what I shortened your name Morenike to then because I was used to calling your name from morning to night. I cannot thank you enough. You became illiterate so that I can be educated, you became poor so that I can be rich. You sacrificed everything for me. I owe you so much even God know that. Join me and celebrate another great heroine of my success Mrs. Morenike Babalola and call her on this number 08140186935 on my behalf to thank her for me and also celebrate with me with goodwill call and messages on my number 08169126032. I am not telling this story for comments or for likes. I don’t need sympathy, I have overcome everything already even though the pains has refused to go away but I know there are a lot people outside there that are going through turbulent moments like I had gone through and my story can ignite their hope. God doesn’t punish us with the situations of our lives, He only prepare us for the future with them. If I can I do it, yes you too can, every child deserve quality education. I am who I am today because I have access to quality educatio

........... I believe you should be responding to the falsehood from the op if your political brass can allow you, the op is taking about 3 weeks of 23 hours power supply, you are here telling me of 25th of December! Yes, light came on 25 after a very long haul, from that 25 till now it is uncountable the number of on and off cum low current put together, as I am typing now, the generator is on...... Please ensure you respond to posts according to context. We are blessed
The Op never said he had light of 23 hrs in his context- Find below his statement
"For The 3 Weeks, In fact since the beginning of December, we have
been having almost constant power supply in my area and I wonder
what could be responsible for this, though one of my neighbors
attributed it to "Harmattan Season"!"

He wasn't precise, ALMOST CONSTANT POWER SUPPLY.. So when next you are reading a post n responding, this should be done according to context also.

Secondly, I really am not like you who is blinded politically that makes you never see the good happening around.

I only stated the light situation in my area.. How has it now turn to political brass? For the fact that you don't have constant light in your area doesn't mean, everyone doesn't have constant light.

Nobody is being paid to tell lies here, not me though.

I don't give a hoot about politics and i hate arguments.

Peace be unto you

it still baffles me why you guys still think this government of the media, by the media and for the media will continue to rule by lies........ You come out here and you spew this, and your cohort quickly sends it to front page without verification......... It is rather unfortunate. For instance I live on the Apple Junction cum okota axis and and because of the extent of persistent darkness I was forced to spend close to n11, 800 from the 24th, this is same way Lai Mohamed came out to insult the sensitivity of Nigerians by saying boko haram insurgency has ended... Meanwhile an attack on outskirts of maiduguri on Friday left over 14 people dead and many more injured! But guess what, the media did not report it. I think electioneering is over, enough of the lies and media hypes already, it is time for true and sincere governance. We are blessed.
Light was constant for over 2 days consecutively at From 25th dec till date. It's not a lie.
PoliticsRe: We Now Have 23hrs Eletricity Supply In My Area: Is It The Same In Your Own Zone? by MzDeeb(f):
Like seriously, we had light for 2 days consecutively without interruption of any sort @ Not even a minute did it go off.

To be precise, 63 hours cos i was counting. I was at home all thru from 25th Dec till this afternoon. When they took it and brought it back in the evening again.

At a point i was always praying for our transformer not to blow.

i was about writing a very long post bt decided to read comments. Thanks for dis

my question to op is dis. the married woman that was caught by her hubby self servicing in one thread like dt was she a virginhuh i wunt b surprise dt u self service yet u r claiming most virgins do.. my last advice for u is dt u shld live ur life d way u want and leave odas to live theirs. i hv never seen a virgin opening threads to advice non virgins to stop having sex... whether na lack of opportunity or not Just let them be . u dt hv opportunity shld enjoy ur opportunity. Thanks
As in ehn. Its so true. I haven't seen a thread by a virgin imposing abstinence on pple.

I think they are just being bitter that they have lost their's. Hence, looking for ways to bring pple into their shoes.

Well, its not their fault though. It's the devil trying one of his manipulating techniques to destroy the children of God. John10:10

Christianity EtcRe: Christians Engaging In Premarital Sexual Relations Before Marriage, Is It Okay? by MzDeeb(f): 4:12pm On Dec 27, 2015
This is a nice write up OP.

Pre marital sex and Adultery is very wrong before the Lord.

Flee from all appearance of evil.. People's glory and destiny are being destroyed just because of pre marital s3x.

You never can tell if the person you are sleeping with is possesed with evil spirits. No matter how handsome or pretty they are E no dey show for face ooo.

S3x is a covenant btw two pple. For every person you sleep with, you are bind to them. That is a covenant has been created. I guess we all know what that means.

Only the wise and Spiritually knowledge person will understand this.

So many things happen in the spiritual realm that pple don't know.

I will advise you to abstain cos the number of years u spend enjoying s3x is nothing compared to the no of yrs during abstinence.

Your body the temple of the Holy spirit.

Ask MFM pastors that does deliverance and you will hear so many unbelievable stories n testimonies

I pray God help us all in Jesus Name. Amen
FamilyRe: The Disadvantages Of Marrying A Virgin by MzDeeb(f):
Hmmm. I weep for this generation of ours.

Why can't we learn from the older generation. To the best of my knowledge, virginity was a pride of a lady and that of her family back then.

Infact, a feast is usually held upon confirmation from the husband that his bride was a virgin.

Nowadays, what we see is pple discouraging girls from keeping their virginity.

Now you are emphasizing on the fact that the couples might have different sexual preference in marriage. Babe, how that one take concern you.

It's left for them to know how to handle that if it does happen.

Are you trying to say that girls should keep sampling guys before marriage till they get to the one they have the same sexual preference? Marriage is not all bou s3x babe

I still do not want to believe that there re virgins out there that does self service. If its true. Then its not cool at all.

Stop misleading young girls.

My advice to young girls and boys is to keep their virginity and endeavour to have a good character, it will help them in their marital life. Always pray to God and don't be friends with bad pple.

Don't destroy ur destiny cos of 5mins pleasure. Ask pple going to MFM to gist you, and you will see reasons to avoid pre marital s3x.
FamilyRe: The Reason why wives feel reluctant to host their inlaws by MzDeeb(f): 2:42pm On Dec 27, 2015
gost:
Then last week my hubby informed me that his paternal cousin will be spending Xmas season with us.I first got pissed when he said he will be going to pick her from their place.I said maka why a girl of 18.but told him if he insisted, he can go ahead to do d pick up even though I found it unreasonable

Women of nowadays! I can autoritatively tell you that before this girl came, you have a bad motive against her, and from your write up you do not like your inlaws, not because they are bad but because you do not trust them or you are not comfortable around them.

Truth be told, no matter what that girl do in that house, in the form of chores, cooking, erands, cleaning etc, you will never like her as long as she is your husbands relative. It is not the girls fault, you are just manifesting who you really are. (A WOMAN WHO HATES HER INLAWS BEFORE EVEN METTING HER HUSBAND).
My wifes best friend have always wished to marry a man whose mother is late, even as a tenager. God answered her prayers and today she got married to a man who lost his mum early in life. she (my wifes friend) now has a 3 year old son. what if her future daugther inlaw wants her death too before her wedding to her son! BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!
Most times i do not blame you women for hating your inlaws. I blame your weak husbands who allow you to devalue their relatives.
If you really wants to live an inlaw free live, please do not get married, or better still find a husband who is an ophan.
As long as you are married to a man or woman who grew up in a family and have relatives they must inconvienence you, and where ever humans are there must be problems, as a mature person you must find a way to solve your problems and not outrigthly trowing them (your inlaws) out.
THE REASON WHY MY WIVE HAS TO VALUE ALL MY RELATIVES WHETHER SHE LIKES IT OR NOT IS BECAUSE IF I WERE A NOBODY SHE WOULD NOT HAVE MARRIED ME. MY FAMILY, BOTH NUCLEAR AND EXTENDED ALL CONTRIBUTED TO MAKE ME A BETTER PERSON. I ALSO TREAT HER PEOPLE WELL AND WELCOME THEM TO MY HOUSE AT ALL TIMES.
GOD bless you for this write up

We all have to be careful what we wish for.

I really do not have a problem with in laws except for the home breakers though.

Learn to live peacefully with all.. At least they aint gonna stay in your house forever.

Endurance and patience is the key to a long lasting marriage

Na wah o. As if you are perfect.

I wonder what you would have said if it were to be a blind, deaf n dumb or crippled person that made such statement.

I have come to observe through experiences in life, that the people that we termed "challenged or ugly" are the ones that always get the best in life. Marriage inclusive. And we keep wondering how come.

But we failed to understand that all things created by God is perfect in his eyes. Hence, we are all the same in HIS eyes.

So my sis, in conclusion, Don't look down on people.

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

DATE : SUNDAY 27th DECEMBER 2015

THEME : ARE YOU INDUSTRIOUS?

Memorise:

Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.
Proverb 20:13

Read: Proverbs 31:10-13

10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

Message

In the school of life, those who are prone to giving excuses end up as failures. Greatness in life is not for the slothful but for the diligent. It is not for men of theoretical faith, but for those who can put their faith into action. There are many people walking around blind to opportunities. They always complain about the economic situation of their country, and for this reason, they have refused to take their destinies in their own hands. Nothing moves until you move. There are opportunities all around you, but if you can't see them, they will not translate into tangible results. To be industrious is to be hardworking, conscientious, diligent and productive. John 15:16 says:

"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."
God expects His children to be productive and be creative in their thinking. The fact that you belong to God should make you see solutions to issues where others only see problems. The spiritual controls the physical; this is why you need to ask God to open your spiritual eyes. You need to see the good things coming your way from afar off, so that as they come, you can tap into them. There are many people sitting and living around opportunities without exploring them. There is no future for lazy fellows.

The life God expects from the industrious is a life of fruitfulness in every area. Fruitfulness is a covenant benefit of God's children. If you are still in school, you need to be industrious in order to graduate with excellent grades. If you are serving in God's ministry, you need to be industrious, so that you can access the anointing required for doing spiritual exploits. If you are engaged in business, you need to be hard-working to make more profits and access greater business opportunities. If you are in the corporate world, being industrious will put you on the cutting edge of your career. You need to keep growing. You need to develop yourself for the glorious future you see ahead of you. You must not be distracted with those things that will not enhance the quick actualisation of your God-given dreams. There is no need losing your head over what you don't have. What you have is more than enough for your breakthrough. Never be afraid of starting small. Ask the Lord to open your eyes so that you can multiply the seed in your hands to become a forest.

Key Point:

Whatever you don't value can never add value to you.

Hi, i am really sorry for what you are going through right now. Heartbreak isn't nice at all.

There are so many decent and faithful ladies out there. Even virgins btw 20-28years.

You just have to cool off relationship for now and pray God leads you to your own wife. Not somebody else's.

Be patient and God will definitely give you the right lady at the right time.

It is well with you.

Come to think of it, if its really a disability why didn't God did a miracle for Zaccheaus the short man in the bible. He could have just said i command you to grow tall immediately. But, NO, he didn't.

But he did perform miracles on the blind, deaf, leper etc..
