We rubbed this grainy stuff on it (its the a wasp's hive you find at the corner of your ceilings). Crush it and add a little water to make a paste, rub all over the jaw and cheeks.
I gave PCM every 6 hours for the pain and fever so that they could eat.
We also treated malaria and typhoid cos we realised that was why their fever kept spiking. The moment we treated that, the mumps became symptomless apart from the swelling.


The older sibling will most likely get it, it is highly infectious. Moyo got it almost 3 weeks after Muna.

@chidexzuk please I'm currently raising some hand picked snails from my backyard...I want to raise them for personal purpose...I feed them ugu,waterleaf,fruits and other things I easily source from the house...will it take a longer time for them to grow to table size since I don't give them snail feeds and what are other challenges that i will face?.thank you

1. FNAC to ascertain if the nodule has changing cells with respect to its parenchymas,which I doubt. Anyway,just do it to avoid a regret not doing it.

2.a. Watching may be necessary as to see if it is growing in size or not. If it is not,probably it may not be a lesion and thus may not need a removal. But if it is,for your comfort it may be removed.

2.b. Procedure is no time wasting and largely pain free.

@2Ballz it doesnt have wound or injury...and not big at all.just concerned so it doesn't get bigger.is surgery the last option I have? is it also necessary I do the fnac?(kinda scared of the procedure)

I am sure that you may have a nontoxic uninodular goitre. There is no easy relief to this. Kindly try on FNAC if it has any lesion instinct to it,after which it will be removed.

doctors where not on strike...I saw an endocrinologist there some weeks back ...thou I couldn't get card cos the health workers are on strike..but you can see a doc.go on Monday....endo clinic starts 2pm...strike is over now..goodluck

If the result showed a Euthyroid activity, then goitre may be nontoxic. In this case,it is to be watched as it may redress seemly by itself.

thanks. yes my result shows euthyroidism...nd scan also says everything is fine jst a nodular goitre of the left thyroid.was still asked to do fnac,but forgot to ask if drugs can shrink it back to normal since it is still small.what are my options?so it doesn't get bigger.

can a small nodular left goiter be made to shrink back to normal size with drugs...my result say normal thyroid hormone...
