Fear not cos my weight is far more than yours and baby is just 2.8kg at 36 weeks. I was afraid that baby was too big but baby is not and i was wondering what happened to the food i ave been eating.
On the other hand, i want to ask if 2.8kg is a good weight for 36 weeks cos i am worried if baby is too small at this stage. Please help my matter and answer me.

I don't think baby is small.At 35wks my baby weighed 2.5kg.which the sonographer said was ok and that before delivery the baby might get to 3kg or more. My last baby was around that weight at 36wks.but at birth weighed 3.5kg.so no need to worry.At this stage they just kip adding weight at a very fast rate.

I gave birth last month via CS due to how I out to bed I couldn't breastfeed my baby that day so he was introduced to Formula even though I wanted Exclusive Breastfeeding for 6 months.ever since I've been feeding him with both breastmilk and formula.

My mother isn't in town so I had to go stay with my mother-in-law sister since my mother in law is not in the country so she can bathe the baby since I'm a first-time mother but I noticed each time I want to breastfeed my baby she's always inconvenient telling me I shouldn't spoil him with breast because he will get used to it.since 3 days I noticed my baby doesn't want to be fed with the formula he will push the feeding bottle out with his tongue and start crying so I decided to breastfeed him this morning then my mother-in-law's sister came from nowhere and yanked the baby out of my hand while Breastfeeding him and started shouting the baby must eat the formula that I must not breastfeed him,she fed the baby with the formula with force till he slept off

Mothers pls is this right?I gave birth to him don't I have a say over him?is it true too much of breast will spoil the child as she claims?pls I need your advice

i've never heard where breast milk will spoil a baby,rather that is what your baby needs most now.please talk to your hubby to help u talk to her..or better still if u are strong enough tell your hubby to come and take you home so u can have peace of mind.

This is an emergency too in my opinion..pls insist you need to see a doctor to avoid infection of the site.hope you have been cleaning with spirit and avoid water from touching the site.please go and see a doc asap.

Good morning ma'am. We are doing well by God's grace. Just that it's not been funny being a FTM. I am 21 weeks gone. After eating, I will be feeling thuds in my tummy kinda "tum tum tum". Then, I have been having this severe right should blade pain that extends to my neck. I thought it was due to my sleeping posture on Monday night. But, it still persists. I couldn't sleep last night. DH had to massage my body after I've taken 4 tablets of panadol extra.

Me I can't remember when last I wash my legs because my knee is how far my hands can go

I place one leg on the toilet sit while holding on to the tap and wash.Then repeat same for the other leg..even at that I don't get to scrub them as much as I would have loved.

Sorry o I say I should ask.
Who still does house chores, cook I mean turn amala and all that at 34 weeks And still has attend to a 2years plus hyper active boy.
My husband feels I should still be able to do all these otherwise I am termed lazy and stuff. I feel very bad honestly. I used to have a help but she left during the start of the lockdown and I already made arrangements for a new help.

But really is it too much work or am I just actually being lazy?
Sometimes at the end of the day am so tired and almost breathless. I just doze off.

u're not lazy dear,I also feel same..I'm always tired after small work.sometimes my hubby will want to make me feel lazy but I don't let that affect me at all.once i'm tired I go and sleep even when he complains..

I collected list at the hospital during antenatal yesterday but the things in the list are very plenty and it states I'll bring them when coming for delivery..
pls help with necessary things to buy because money no dey oo.

You will need to buy all your hospital items else those nurses with there sharp mouth will still ask u to buy them in the hospital which might be more expensive..for the ones you will use at home just use ur discretion depending on the money u have.you can ask about items u're not sure about buying then Sabi Mamas will tell u if it is very necessary.All the best

Sabi mamas pls what could possibly be the reasons for swollen hands and legs or is it normal at this stage? Also I have been having the urge to throwup, of which I end up bringing out water and little food since yesterday mostly in the evenings.

My July teamies how we dey, I just wish next month is July even though I haven't finished shopping for baby.

yes,please start immediately.. doctor's even advice u start before conception..folic acid is very necessary especially in the first trimester to avoid any birth defect in the baby.

It's too late to change her now. I've been having some abdominal pains and it's so severe. Pls is it normal and is bad to lie down on my back? welcome dear,please about the abdominal pains u need to tell your doc about it if the pains is very severe,might be Braxton Hicks(just a tightening felt around d stomach preparing you for labour)..but if the pain is much pls tell your doc..
Don't lie on your back it not healthy for your baby...lie only on your left side..u can switch to the right for sometime but the left side is the recommended side.All the best.
