Hello mamas.I had a forceps delivery on the end of October and the stitches are still very painful. I sitz bath with hot water twice daily. Any remedy for the pains?
please don't use hot water...use warm water that your body can tolerate so you don't break your stitches..then get it checked out at the hospital.

Good morning beautiful Mama's in the house, please i have an issue that has been bothering me for a while.

I am about 14 weeks gone now, and i am having increased virginal discharge (it is not smelly or anything) but the issue is that it creates wetness around the vagina and causes me serious itching externally. originally i thought it was because of the cyclogest i was inserting but i have long stopped the cyclogest and the problem still continues.

Secondly anytime i and DH BD it is not painful but afterwards it feels like someone sprinkled pepper on my vagina.

Please who has experienced any of this, kindly advise me.
it very normal to have increased discharge during pregnancy...it should not itch u thou... get pant liners for that....make sure you both engage in enough fore play b4 bd and ensure u have a nice shave down there.

Good evening house. Please I’m a first time dad, my wife just gave birth to our son 2months ago and my mother in law has been with us since then. The thing is she would soon be leaving and I’m quite low on cash at the moment and I know I’m supposed to get her somethings when she’s leaving. Please do you people have any idea of what to get her that she would appreciate cos she has been an amazing mother. Something I can get for her that won’t break the bank.
P.s she lives in Lagos as well and her place isn’t even that far from ours.
u can get things she can share cos like most mums from the east...they would normally give out omugwo tins when they go back...things like this #100 naira salt 1bag of it,tin tomatoes, can juice, matches then you can add a bag of rice depending on your budget... groundnut oil too

Oh, Thanks for the swift response, Ma... Actually, she has undergone all the Goitre what have you tests and diagnosis; she already has all the results sef - but her Endocrinologist consultant (something like that) said the size of her Goitre can't be operated on yet; that it can still be treated with some prescribed drugs. But as nature would have it; she came across some traditional Indian doctors here in Nigeria; and they gave her some drugs - that it would work magic within 3 Months. It did actually reduced the size of Goitre drastically to an unnoticeable size in the first 2 Months except when you're a few inches from her.... The issue now is that I'm now far away from home - i couldn't monitor the remaining 1 month; whenever we talk over the phone; i don't always like to bring up the Goitre of a thing in order to avoid emotions creeping up. I APOLOGISE FOR MY LONNNNNGGG EPISTLE. I was scouring for a possible solution prior my arrival just in case Indians drug didn't yield out the result we wanted not until i stumbled on your NL page and someone advised FNAC as the possible solution. She's afraid that the final final final outcome of the consultant would profer operation as the solution; she's in her late forties and she still does visit the Consultant in every 2months interval for monitoring. I'm just seeking for other possible means where it can be treated. Thanks for your Patience, Ma.
good she is already seeing a doc....my consultant didn't mention any drug to me...maybe cos mine was non toxic and normal thyroid hormone level as at the time I tested.fnac is not a possible solution but one of the test I was asked to do... the two options he gave me was 1st wait and see approach so he will know if it will increase in size 2nd is surgery for cosmetic reason to feel and look nice without anyone asking u want is wrong with your neck.he even referred me to the surgical dept for expert advice....but I don't think I want to do that now.mine is still small and not very noticeable just taking precautionary measures so it doesn't increase in size.which hospital is she using?

Hi Ma, were you able to get an effective Goitre treatment/ remedy/ supplement ? Pls, i anticipate your quick response. Thanks.
you should see an endocrinologist...u will do some test.then your doc will advice u on what to do.In my case,my result said normal thyroid hormone,so my consultant didn't prescribe any drug for me.did fnac test, yet to pick it up...will do that today.so I'll retest after a while to see if there are any changes in my thyroid hormone level...meanwhile my doc said for cosmetic reasons I can opt for surgery..but I don't want that now as mine is still small and not very notice able.
