seunny4lif:With the way United is playing, I'm sure. This is the same Leeds that they have scored 42 goals against this season already. |
Only the most useless of teams will bottle a 2 - 0 lead in 2 minutes to 15th place Leeds United. |
Silentmoni:The board, management, & Ole. |
Sancho has been incredible today. Maguire = useless Lindelof = useless Mctominay = useless Bissaka & shaw = useless. |
seunny4lif:I swear |
"Peacemaker" creator James Gunn told Variety that Marvel helped DC film that surprising cameo in the show's season finale. "Peacemaker," the hit DC show on HBO Max starring John Cena, featured a special appearance from the Justice League at the episode's climax after the team thwarted an alien invasion.

koldej96:Career progression in the banking sector is pitifully slow. It takes some banks years to promote contract staff to full-time staff (& that's for those lucky enough to get promoted). That teller position is very, very stressful. You'll barely have time for yourself, not to talk of time to search for other jobs. While you slave away at the desk & deal with rowdy customers, all while trying not to lose your mind, you won't even know when 1 year has passed. Just like that. If there are no other options, then take it. But before you do, I suggest you plan for how long you want to stay there. Good luck! |
chatinent:Whether it's a scam or not, you're fishing in the wrong pond. This section is for job/employment postings & discussion, not for you to sell your wares. |
Why will anyone in their right minds watch this match? As is routine, I expected United to lose or draw. They've even had less possession than Brighton, while Man City is destroying Sporting in the UCL. What a terrible time to be a United fan. |
oluwaahmed:Lingard was playing alongside a coordinated team in West ham. Man Utd isn't a coordinated team, neither do they know anything about team work. Why do you think Rangnick makes them do 11 vs 11 drills during training? The only slightly above player Utd had on the bench in today's game was Elanga. Everyone else is thrash. Thrash that cannot be rehabilitated & should be sold. There's no hype in Rangnick. His achievements are on record, and his knowledge is real. |
oluwaahmed:Even Klopp cannot save United. The problem isn't the coach. It's the players. Ole was a terrible coach with terrible players, but Rangnick is a good coach with terrible players. |
N2B2:I said it. |
Man Utd has started again. Create wonderful chances in the 1st half but fail to find the net (or score just once), and then struggle in the 2nd half before losing or drawing the game. |
mollie12:As I said before, seeing the overwhelming number of NLders who have called you out and shamed you, it's no surprise you can't respond. mollie12:I said PAY not HIRE. The former is not something a glorified HR personnel like yourself will know anything about. What do you think those that hire personal assistants or domestic help are doing? Why is it such a surprise to you that I’m hired and hiring at the same time? You think you're all that because you got to interview a few personal assistants and cleaners for hire? Rofl! Now that's the definition of an ignorantly hilarious notion unworthy of a response. And just so you know: I'm neither unemployed nor on your level. Your monthly wage might not even be enough to score an hour consultation with me. I interview my clients, not the other way around. So, sit down. |
mollie12:Of course, you have nothing more to add, not to this rant — as you've been unceremoniously shamed — or to growth of entry-level employees who know their worth. My payout rate was NGN50,000 per week (that comes to NGN200k per month) for fresh graduates because I wanted to give young people a chance.Facing criticism for your rant — instead of the praise you expected — you've resorted to e-bragging. Have you forgotten you said: ... One of the HR staff keeps coming to our side of the office almost every day that they are looking for candidates to fill this role... Are you an employee who pays other employees? Lol! You can't even lie well. My payout rate was... because I wanted to give young people a chance.Nah. Your workplace is not a charity, and neither you nor your boss are saints. Your boss is paying graduates for the time & effort they spend for the business. But with submissions like yours, I now see why most employers of labor insist on paying peanuts.Another lie. The money has gotten to your head, so you now look down on those with little to no experience. That's why you advocate for peanut salaried and unpaid internships. Since people don't want to take corrections and learn how to improve themselves and their value.A stark contrast from a post you made in April 2019 decrying the very thing you're now ignorantly doing. Here's what you said: It was highly nauseating and ignorant to lump hundreds of students (so you've encountered some hypocrites, how many and what proportion of the total percentage of the school population? Up to 5%?) under the hypocrite tag.Shame on you! |
An interesting write-up, @mollie2. It presents a few hard-hitting questions. Unfortunately, it also reads like a tirade typical of the average low-paying Nigerian employer with a god complex. The rant starts from your title: "Are Nigerian graduates employable?" Fresh graduates have little to no experience and will typically seek entry-level jobs to gain experience. On average, hiring managers forward 3-4 job vacancies/offers to me each week, asking me for candidates I can refer to them for one job opportunity or the other. Are these hiring managers looking to fill vacant entry level positions? Because there's no shortage of young graduates out there searching for their first jobs. Let's look at some of your points. 1. Lack a can-do attitude...Yes, a can-do attitude is a mindset valued in the workplace. However, you mention nothing about can-do attitudes here. Instead, because you had one bad experience, you jeer at the unemployed who lament Nigeria's failed employment systems. The least you could do is do research on what the role entails...That's what the job requirements section of your job posting is for. No research needed. Religious fanaticism. You hear of candidates that tell interviewers that they cannot come to work on Fridays. Or that they have to leave early on Wednesdays for choir practice. What interviewers think of such candidates is irrelevant. How is wanting to go to church on weekdays religious fanaticism? You seem incensed that applicants want to maintain lives outside their workplace. The title of this point should have been: "A lack of workplace fanaticism." 4. Entitlement mentality. [Motivational speakers] sold this stupendous idea to young people that they can get a job that will earn them millions with almost zero experience.A lie cleverly intended to mask the ridiculousness of the next statement you make. See next quote: They convince them to toss aside "low-paying" jobs and demand to be paid "their worth". They lie to them that only paid internships should be pursued.I said it - a typical low-paying employer, seeking "rockstar" talents to pay peanuts to. For those reading, never let anyone convince you that you aren't worth reasonable pay, even if you have little to no experience. Employers don't only pay for your skill; they pay for your time and effort, too. If you don't have in-demand, hot skills that are scarce, be ready to take up that peanut-paying job and that unpaid internship to learn what you need to learn to be in demand. It is called stooping to conquer. It is called slave labor, indicative of the terrible workplace you run. Conclusion: This rant-like write-up is just a demand for employee subservience. Unpaid internships, peanut-paying yet high-demanding jobs... all unreasonable demands of fresh graduates. And unreasonable demands breed hostile workplaces. Try again. This time, try to put yourself in the shoes of the unemployed when you write. |
Udoboss:Absolutely! If you can write well, though. |
CryptoClub2018:No game is an "easy win" for Man Utd. In fact, as the club be, it will struggle against a 3rd division team. This Middlesbrough they're struggling against is in 7th position in the 2nd division. |
CryptoClub2018:But why you dey bet for Man Utd head? Man Utd of all clubs. Haba! |
Goal Middlesbrough! 1 - 1 Is Man Utd leaving the FA cup tonight? |
Goooooal United! Sancho on the beat! |
Ronaldo just missed a pk. Chai. |
I hope thunder tickled his blokos on the way out. Admittedly, Woodward had the hands for money-making, but those same hands oversee some of the worst seasons in United's modern history. It's a shame Ole wasn't sacked earlier. The damage he caused the club will take a while and a proper manager to fix. I was happy to see United dispose of some of the riffraff during the January transfer window. I hope the rest of the thrash in our squad is sold at the end of the season. |
Tunisia don dey play these boys ball o. |
frankson1:Dalot's offensive runs has made the team more dangerous down the right flank. Dalot looks to carry the ball forward a lot, allowing Mcsauce to make piercing runs down the middle to receive a pass, and gives Greenwood/Sancho passes further forward. Yes, Utd needs better fullbacks, but the impact Dalot has had is clear to see. And, yes, Dalot crosses. He hasn't played as many games as AWB, but the man crosses... more accurately then AWB imho. |
Rashford, thank you o. We needed those points. |
frankson1:I'm not putting Dalot on their level. I'm saying, when United is on the market for fullbacks, they'll certainly look for players that drive the ball forwards and are quick on their feet. Dalot does that better than AWB. Dalot may not be as defensively sound as AWB, but I believe he's a better RB. |
frankson1:Do you know 1 things the premiere league's big sides have in common? Offensive fullbacks. These fullbacks can attack as well as defend. They overlap on the wings to provide width and support the wingers in bringing the ball forwards. Cancelo, Trent, Robertson, Digne... check their stats. They overlap and cross a lot. AWB, on the other hand, is useless. He can't keep possession, neither can he cross. All he has in his arsenal are slide tackles. He should rest abeg. |
The first half is over. Here are a few things to note: - Telles is average defensively: he doesn't run to recover misplaced passes. He's just glued to that left-wing like say him buy land there. - Fred is useless: no creativity, no vision, and no awareness. The instant he gets the ball, his heart rate spikes, and he rushes to give it away. - Greenwood is selfish.: the same complaint every match. He doesn't pass when he needs to. - Dalot is selfish: Granted, he's more offensively aware than AWB, but he's becoming selfish. The instant he beats his marker, he should PASS! |
Fred too dey fear. If you just give am ball, e go find who to pass to fast fast. Even if it's a rubbish pass. |
