Nice2023:Thanks. |
Kudos to Serie A. The glory of Italian football is returning. For the first time in more than a decade we have 3 Italian teams in the Quarter Finals of the UCL. I tip Real Madrid, Benfica, Napoli and Manchester City to go through. Yes. Bayern will not win against Manchester City. |
Wike isn't even fighting LP in Rivers State. LP will come Fourth or Fifth after LULU Briggs. Na APC and SDP - Tonye Cole and Magnus Abe he dey fight. Streets no even rate the LP woman wey no fit Waka for leg well. She no get level. Since I small, camouflage dey plenty pass ordinary clothes for Gubernatorial elections and Local Government Elections in Rivers State- facts. If you pity your people, find series watch tomorrow. |
😂 Edo can never be called "a no man's land". It's one of the few things I'm sure of. Oba Ovonramwen fought Britain with ammunition from a cache of arms gotten from Portuguese traders. Only few of those battles by enclaves that would later be amalgamated as Nigeria against colonization are interesting as the invasion of Benin in 1897 by the British forces. The walls of Benin built as a fortress is reported to have been longer than the walls of China. The kingdom had bright torches as street light about 2 centuries ago. The Benin kingdom was the most organised in the deeper south of Nigeria and with time would have colonized their neighbours, including Igbos. Men from Edo state make the highest demographic of migrants enroute Europe by feet through the deserts of North Africa and the Mediterranean Sea. See- Edo people are actually very resilient and get craze for head . They don't have phobia against any tribe because they know that if you cross their lane, you'll be running helter shelter out of their land within 24 hours. It's a fact. |
He was made Vice-president because he was the meekest Governor from the South. Obasanjo didn't want his successor to experience the pepper Atiku showed him. Jonathan even became a Governor by chance or maybe luck as his name suggests. Goodluck Jonathan failed as President because he wasn't prepared for leadership. He's a good man without an inordinate ambition for power. In 2019, a man who had never hoped to be president under APGA and swore never to leave APGA was selected vice presidential candidate of the PDP. What was he going to do? How long did he prepare for it? It is my conviction that the most prepared should have it. Tinubu prepared since 1993 to save Nigeria as President. 30 years of training and planning will most likely produce a better result than 8 months of taking advantage of the "South East turn" and "Muslim Muslim Ticket". |
The killings are justified under international law and local laws. Where another's right to life begins is where yours will end if you play stupid games. |
Rinu's article was published by CNN OPINION and there's a disclaimer at the commencement that the content of the article are not facts but opinion of the composer. It isn't different from what I opine anonymously on this forum every night and day. The youth population in Nigeria are not limited to Southern Youth or Christian youth. There are 7 States in Nigeria's North West compared to the 6 States of the South South where I'm a native. There are 6 States of the North East compared to the 5 States of the South East where Peter Obi had the best results. If there's anything the elections has taught me, it is that the Nigerian youth is not liberated. Like her parents before her, whom she mocks for being docile and emotional, the Nigerian youth is constantly imprisoned by the chains of tribalism and religious extremism. Let's face it, in the United States, the United Kingdom, Finland, Norway or anywhere classified as a first world society, Datti Ahmed who called for a law to kill homosexuals and non-binary people in Nigeria would never be in a ticket and that ticket would be celebrated by "progressives" of the society. We know why Labour Party won in Nasarawa and FCT but failed to make 25% in Niger State. We know why APC won Niger State but failed to make 25% in Abuja. We know why Labour Party won Lagos, but failed to make 25% in Ogun, Osun or the South Western States bordering Lagos. We know why Peter Obi campaigned at Southern Kaduna and not at the stadium at the centre of the City. We know why Tinubu scored less than 10% in the South East and Peter Obi scored less than 5% in many North Western and North Eastern States. The results didn't present anything different or unexpected from a country with such a huge diversity. The turnout may have been low when compared to previous results, but it was higher than previous elections without their results. What reduced the number of votes cast was the introduction of technology by the Independent umpire vested with the power to organize National democratic polls. Genuine students of arts and humanities know that our democracy is improving and it's something to be proud of. At least we've passed the era where results were written at the residence of military generals. We're at an epoch where voters figures are difficult to inflate. Until this election, the Senate was the retirement home of many State Governors but many of them failed in an unprecedented pattern. Commercial drivers and average Joes who can't afford transport to Abuja defeated elite politicians. The people of Nigeria are becoming more powerful with their franchise but it is scary that they seem to prioritize prejudice and vengeance while exercising their new found power instead of competency and goodwill. |
Doyin Okupe is facing heavy corruption charges. Pat Utomi ran prominent banks to the ground. Olusegun Obasanjo committed documented genocides in Odi in Bayelsa State and Zaki Biam in Benue State as a civilian President. He conducted the worst elections in Nigeria's history. The three men are "his" most prominent backers and allies outside the South East. I'm the last Southern Youth whom anyone can deceive that "the movement" has anything to do with positive change. |
mployer:No one is afraid. He is giving an opinion which is a response to the consistent characters assassination and misinformation spread by obidîots across Nigeria. Nothing stops a winner from setting things straight when sore losers are out to destroy his reputation. Or should we be quiet? Silence means "I accept what is said about about me by the opposition". We don't accept your fake news so we have the moral, legal and ethical obligation to rebut your nasty and low IQ assertions. |
Ihordspy, Kudos! I'm proud of you. You've analyzed the whole stuff logically and legally. Section 60(5) of the Electoral Act gives INEC the discretion to transmit the election in a manner they think is the best. In the whole of the Electoral Act 2022 and the CFRN 1999 (The Primary Laws governing Electoral matters), there's no mention of electronic voting / transmission or mandatory electronic transmission. The opposition are basing their claim on an administrative promise/ guideline which cannot displace the discretion vested on INEC by the Electoral Act to transmit the Election in a manner most appropriate to them. INEC is like a seller and the law mandates him to deliver goods bought to consumers in a way he thinks is the best. INEC the seller promises on its own that it is likely to deliver through a pick up van but on the day of the delivery, INEC delivers through a motorcycle. The court cannot cancel the delivery because the mode of delivery was INEC's business and not contained in any Law that will be quoted in court. It's as simple as ABC. Section 135 of the Electoral Act also states that an election shall not be invalidated/ cancelled even if there was not total compliance with the Act. As long as there is substantial compliance with the act and the non-compliance does not affect the results substantially, then the election remains valid. INEC strictly complied with the act as there was no provision for electronic transmission. 2023 Election is the fairest elections in Nigeria's history. |
Good job well done! |
TheOldGods:Shut the fvck up. African countries to numerous to mention congratulated Tinubu who will rule over you, Peter Obi and other obidîots. |
The many demerits of capitalism. |
The white man is a spokesperson of the Biden Administration, Harris, or who exactly? A loser willing to use the colour of his skin and texture of his genetics to gain money and social media followers from a couple of degenerates native to a race he believes his kind has conquered? The UK Prime Minister congratulated the President -elect. The Dutch prime minister congratulated the President - elect. The brave Ukrainian President congratulated the President - elect. The Prime Minister of India congratulated the President-elect. China had congratulated the President-elect. The United States Embassy in Nigeria and mission in Africa congratulated the President. Ecowas and other world leaders numerous to mention congratulated the President-elect. The President-elect even published an appreciation message to leaders who congratulated him. I think the stage of congratulations has passed since it's already 2 weeks since election results were announced. The only issue here is that Obidîots and Atikulooters have refused to progress from the denial stage of grief. |
As written by an alumni of the Obidîot School of Container Politics. Keep the rumours coming 😂 |
maasoap:Thank you! I'm happy that you have enough cash to fund those around you. You're a good person. |
My parents waybill 30,000 naira cash for me weekly. I'm the lucky few. I share it with my guys. I rarely use cash though except for barbeque, fresh meat, fresh fish, fresh vegetables and fruits.

I supported Bola Ahmad Tinubu because I believe in a free market I believe his reorganisation of Nigeria will promote. If Igbo people work hard while Yorubas are waiting for Government welfare and special treatment for "accommodating" others, they Igbo people will live better in the next four years. If Yoruba people welcome investors while the South East lock up the region by insurrection, incessant sit-at-home orders and a parallel government, the Yoruba people will live better in the next four years. The work of the new government is to ensure that students in public schools will finish a four year course before the fifth year. The work of the new government is to ensure that electricity improves across the country greatly and Nigeria can refine 80% of the petroleum the country consumes. The work of the new government is to drive public - private partnerships that will create necessary jobs for those who are not business oriented and decongest the overcrowded public service. The work of the new government is to provide incentives for startups and open channels for international trade to balance our payment for trade. The work of the new government is to build an army to end insurgency and islamism in the Savannah. If you no work, you no go chop whether you are from Ibadan or Daura |
FreeStuffsNG:There was no chance the Christian part of North Central will fall to PDP. It was always going to be taken by Labour Party who took it conveniently for a party that got into the race about 8 months before General Elections. It was only Benue that closed with a tight margin because of the influence of Rev Father Aliaa (islamophobia was crushed) and the failure of Ortom. Didn't Babachir Lawal , ex- SFG rewarded by APC, back Labour Party because of Muslim Muslim Ticket. It was basically Muslim North Central that APC took which was always assured because of the influence of the Governors. The South South are not supposed to vote for Tinubu or APC or Muslim Muslim Ticket like the North Central should. We actually betrayed our neighbours. We tried. You just don't think we deserve it because of the disdain you have for us. However, let's see what will happen in real life before we make a decision because I know your projections are just wishes. |
I apologize to my Igbo brothers. I'll make it up. |
FreeStuffsNG:You're just a bigot. We didn't do it for Yorubas, so you know. We just believe in Jagaban. |
donphilopus:Freestuffsng, Very annoying thread for most of us. The chairman lost Nasarawa State his State to Labour Party in that same North Central. Labour party won Plateau State in that same North Central despite producing the campaign chairman, an incumbent Governor. Benue State was so close that it could have gone anywhere. It's technically a draw between LP and APC just like Lagos. The win margin of APC has no meaning. If we count Abuja-FCT based on its geography and boundary, APC did not even see 25% there. North Central voted along religious lines. Kwara is technically Yoruba and Kogi to an extent with Muslim population. Niger State has a massive Muslim population too. The only christians in Nigeria that didn't give a damn about the Muslim Muslim Ticket apart from the South West were South South christians. Also consider the fact that APC was the dominant party in the North Central before the elections. KWARA, Kogi, Niger, Nasarawa and Plateau states had APC Governors. South South delivered beyond imagination for a region with only one APC governor who defected. The South South will have at least 2 APC governors on the 29th of May (Delta State and Cross River State). The region is going APC and you must reward the people. |
FreeStuffsNG:David Mark was from the North Central. He's Nigeria's longest serving Senate president. After that Bukola Saraki still from the North Central did 4 years. The North Central cannot do it again. What happens to the South South? Despite Igbo affinity, we gave Jagaban 25% in almost all the states. Do you know the implication of an 80% for Obi in the South South like the South East? It would have been 11 States landslide. How do you discredit how much work the likes of Wike, Akpabio and Oshiomole put in to preach Muslim Muslim Ticket to natives of an area with 98% Christians without mosques? It's unfair. Una yourbas no dey rate us 😡 Very annoying thread for most of us. The chairman lost Nasarawa State his State to Labour Party in that same North Central. Labour party won Plateau State in that same North Central despite producing the campaign chairman, an incumbent Governor. Benue State was so close that it could have gone anywhere. All hands are on deck at INEC to conduct Gubernatorial elections across the country. INEC won't suspend important activities to entertain a silly quest by sore perennial losers. Accessing materials can wait while we conclude the second batch of the General Elections. |
comodo:Chai! You're cold hearted. Your plan was to install an incompetent Peter Obi by fraudulent means and then migrate while patriotic Nigerians suffer. Your plan has failed. |
RomanGreen:Port Harcourt isn't infested by sooth. Awka is not serene. It's the hotbed of armed secessionists turned criminals. It's also dirty. You can't even compare the waste management system in Port Harcourt to Awka. Awka has tricycles littered everywhere without restrictions. Port Harcourt is an organised and decent city. |
civilserva:No African country is better than Nigeria. Mind your allegations! I don't hate anybody. |
RomanGreen:Lol. Sweet Talk. Everyone I've spoken to in Port Harcourt loves the city more than anywhere in South East. The real estate in Port Harcourt is booming more than any place in the South East. You guys love Port Harcourt and Asaba more than any place in the South East. That's a fact. |
