THE TWO BASTARDTS https://cdn.pmnewsnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Cynthias-Killers.jpg Covering their faces: The two suspected killers of Cynthia, a retired General’s daughter, paraded today in Lagos. Two murder suspects who were paraded today by the Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja, Echezona Nwabufor, 33, and Ezekiel Nnechuwu Olisa Eloka, 23, have narrated how they drugged the daughter of a retired General, Miss Cynthia Akuzogwu Udoka, 25, and strangled her in order to steal her money. One of the suspects, Eloka, said they killed Cynthia because they thought she had a lot of money in her possession. But after the dastardly act, they did not find a reasonable amount of money on her. https://cdn.pmnewsnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Cynthia-Osukogu-336x336.jpg According to the suspects, “we met her on the facebook on our Blackberry. We invited her to come to Lagos to buy goods at cheap prices. “When she got to Lagos, we took her to a hotel in Festac. We thought she had a lot of money, but she said she didn’t have any money. We gave her Reflon tablet in her Ribena drink. After this, we slept with her for 12 hours in that hotel. We discovered that the tablet did not work quickly on her. “We then attacked her, tied her up and used cellotape to cover her mouth. After that, we beat her to tell us where she kept the money. “When we didn’t get any money from her, we tied her mouth and strangled her and then we abandoned her in the hotel and fled.” The suspects and the General’s daughter became friends on Facebook and were exchanging messages and phone calls. She told them she was coming to Lagos. They met her at Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja from where they ushered her into a hotel in Festac town, Lagos. Briefing journalists on how policemen were able to arrest the suspects, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Umar Abubakar Manko, said detectives made use of the close circuit television, CCTV, at the hotel where the crime was committed to identify them. The late Miss Cynthia Akuzogwu Udoka The Area Commander, Area ‘E’ Police Command, ACP Okoro added that the suspects who are undergraduates of Nigerian universities were nabbed through the call logs of the telephone conversations they had with the late Cynthia who was a post graduate student of Nasarawa State University. When the suspected killers strangled Cynthia, they deposited her corpse at the mortuary of Isolo General Hospital in Lagos. ACP Okoro stated that many ATM cards, about 23 SIM cards, different identity cards were recovered from the suspects. Police sources said the two suspects will soon be arraigned in court to answer a charge of murder. Meanwhile, the late Cynthia’s best friend, Aishatu Ene Ella, has paid a glowing tribute to the deceased. She said: “In the last few days, I have seen my heart torn, stripped and broken into pieces, first by the disappearance and death of my dearest friend and secondly by the wickedness exhibited by Nigerians passing judgement on someone they never knew or met.” http://pmnewsnigeria.com/2012/08/22/facebook-tragedy-how-we-killed-the-generals-daughter-suspects/ ANOTHER SOURCE: https://saharareporters.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/news-page-images-480-wide/page_images/news/2012/suspects_generaldaughter.jpg The police in Lagos yesterday paraded suspects who killed Cynthia Ozokogu age 24 whose body was traced to a morgue in the metropolis at the weeked. Cynthia is the last child and only daughter of Major Gen. Ozokogu (rtd). She was killed on July 22 in an hotel in FESTAC. There were a lot of posers at the parade gound in Ikeja yesterday. The suspects Okume and Ezeke (surnames withheld by us) one of them a university student, were driven there in a sleek car. The suspects, who met their victim, Cynthia on Facebook, were alleged to have sexually molested the victim, tied and chained her before she was finally murdered. The Commissioner of Police, Umar Manko, told newsmen that Ezeke was arrested in Anambra State while his colleague, a 100 level Accounting student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Okume was nabbed in FESTAC. He stated that detectives from Area E Command, FESTAC got a lead into the case when they got the suspects’ pictures in a footage from a Close Circuit Camera TV (CCTV) that was installed in the hotel.. “We discovered that two young men came to the hotel and went to the room and after sometime came out with a package. They were arrested and have confessed that they killed the lady,” he added. Facts about the case Manko said that on July 22 this year, in FESTAC, the police found a lady dead in her hotel room tied and chained. He stated the police discovered that “somebody called demanding that the body of the bastard be removed.” Manka said when the body was found, the police had no details about the identity of the deceased. ‘From the yellow card that was found’ we got her passport number from the internet and the Nigerian Immigration Service was able to link her up and was able to establish her actual identity’, he said. Manko noted that the suspects told the police that they started with the deceased on the internet which they were able to establish that she is a businesswoman who comes to. Lagos to buy and goes to Abuja to sell and concluded that she must have money. He said that one of the suspects gave her a flight ticket and an accommodation in the hotel. The suspects, Manko said, drugged the drink, which they gave to the deceased. The drug, he explained, got the deceased knocked off and the suspects settled down for what they were there for, but that unfortunately, she died in the process. “She struggled before she collapsed and got her killed’, he added.” Suspects’ confessional statement The suspects confessed to journalists that they actually met the victim on Facebook and that their intention was to dispossess Cynthia of her belongings and did not intend to kill her. Okume said that they drugged the deceased with medicine, which they injected in three of the drink they gave to the deceased. He denied having sexual intercourse with her, adding that the condom that was found in her hotel room was not used by them. He explained that they only used a se.xual toy (vibr.ator) which they found on the deceased. Okume, the 100 level Accounting student admitted that the deceased was their fourth victim. ‘We always meet with our victims in different hotels in FESTAC,” he added. He, however, denied killing the three other victims and that the death of the only daughter of the retired General was quite unfortunate. Posers The suspects who were smartly dressed were brought to the command headquarters Ikeja in a sleek car. Recall that prior to the discovery of her body in the morgue last Saturday, Cynthia had been declared missing by her family since July 22 after she had left her base in Nasarawa State to come to Lagos for shopping. Attempts by her relations and concerned friends to ascertain her whereabouts were not successful prompting them to circulate messages on the social media, but no one could give vital information about her. Prior to the discovery of the body, her family had no inkling she was dead. Rather, she was listed as a missing person. According to reports, the deceased who was running a postgraduate program in Public Administration at the Nasarawa State University, was lured into Lagos by a group of men whose stock in trade is to deceive young girls and kill them after dispossessing them of their belongings. There was a twist in the case when the body was found in a mortuary in Lagos and indications pointed to the fact that the deceased was killed in the hotel she lodged in before she was taken to the mortuary. According to sources, the deceased was said to have been robbed and killed in the hotel by the same people she was supposed to do business with. At the hotel, the duo who went to pick her at the airport, having allegedly connived with a staff of the hotel and a pharmacist who produced the substance used to drug her, immediately executed their plan. The deceased was tied up, robbed of all the money she brought for her business and strangled her to death. The suspects immediately dispossessed her of her phones, her identity card and other things that could be used to identify her. http://sunnewsonline.com/new/national/facebook-murder-why-we-killed-cynthia/ TO ALL THOSE PICKING HOLES IN THE STORY, HERE IS STILL ANOTHER SOURCE: https://cdn.punchng.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/The-suspects1.jpg The suspects who allegedly killed Cytnhia Osokogu, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Frank Osokogu (retd.), on July 22, 2012, have admitted that they drugged and beat the 24-year-old girl before she died. The suspects – Nwabuzo Okumo and Odera Ezekiel – described the incident as a mistake. They claimed that they only wanted to rob her and flee from the hotel before things went awry. Okumo, a 300-level Accounting student of the University of Lagos, said he met the deceased on BlackBerry Messenger and established a relationship with her before inviting her to Lagos. He said, “We met through a group on BlackBerry Messenger. We had formed a kind of friendship online. “When she told me that she was coming to Lagos to buy some goods for her boutique in Abuja, I invited her to Casmillo Hotel, Amuwo Odofin, where an incident led to her death. It was not planned that way. It was a big mistake. “She arrived in Lagos from Abuja on Sunday, July 21 and I took her to the hotel. I gave her a pack of Ribena juice, which had been injected with a drug I use on women that makes them dizzy, weak and wipes their memory afterwards. I have used the drugs on four girls but it did not kill them. “I stayed in the room with her for about 12 hours. We talked; I used a vib.rator (se.x toy) on her. I noticed that she did not drink all the juice and so the drug was not as effective as expected. “I had no choice than to engage her in a struggle. I had to tie her so that she would not be able to follow me after robbing her.” However, Ezekiel, a 400-level student of Accounting at the Anambra State University, said he was called by Okumo to help him tie up the girl. He said it was when Cynthia was struggling with them that they beat her up before chaining her. He said he gave Okumo two packs of Ribena juice that were injected with 10 tablets of Refinol. He said, “I didn’t know the victim. The morning it happened, he (Okumo), said I should come and help him bind the girl because he wanted to steal her belongings. In the process of binding her, she was struggling so we had to beat her up and it was in the process that she passed out. We used our hands in beating her; we did not use any weapon. “She was still breathing as at the time I left the hotel.” While parading the suspects, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, Umar Manko, said the suspects specialise in luring young ladies and robbing them. He added that it was unclear if the boys killed their previous victims or not. “The young lady was found dead and chained in a room in the hotel. Someone called the hotel reception and said, ‘Go and get the dead body of a bastard from your room’. When the lady was found, her identity could not be ascertained,” he said. It was learnt that a yellow card belonging to the victim was found in the hotel room. From the card, he said the police called immigration authorities and got the passport number and details of the victim. Manko said, “Her identity was not known but from the telephone number used in calling the hotel, we started our investigations until we got her passport number through the Immigration Service and were able to establish her identity. “Through CCTV footage, we discovered that two young men entered into her room. We were able to trace the suspects through the phone number that called the hotel.” Our correspondent learnt that the police initially arrested Ezekiel’s girlfriend. She aided them in apprehending Ezekiel who had run to Anambra State. PUNCH Metro learnt that Ezekiel then led the police to Okumo in FESTAC. Manko said, “The boys are cousins and both are from Anambra State. We’ve been told that this is not their first time but we’ve not been able to able to establish if they always kill their victims. It’s a very long investigation and it’s still ongoing. “The case is a lesson to people using social networks to be very careful. The suspects will be charged to court for murder.” The CP however added that no employee of the hotel was involved in the crime. The items recovered from the suspects are seven driving licences (three belonging to Ezekiel, four belonging to Okumo with different names); the deceased’s belongings, including her shoes(found in Okumo’s house); 17 mobile phones, two Diamond Bank rubber stamps, two syringes, a pack of Ribena, 22 SIM cards, a chain, 12 debit and credit cards. http://www.punchng.com/news/we-drugged-beat-generals-daughter-before-her-death-suspects/ |

https://saharareporters.com/sites/default/files/imagecache/news-page-images-480-wide/page_images/news/2012/Boko-Haram-shekau_0.jpg Following claims by the Joint Task Force in Maiduguri that it killed 20 members of the Jama’atu Allus Sunnah Lilda wati Wal Jihad, aka Boko Haram at the weekend, the group said today those killed were innocent people, not its members. Through its spokesperson, Abul Qaqa, Boko Haram described the JTF claim as a ruse and serial lies, and insisted that the combined squad, which comprises soldiers as well as secret police and conventional police killed innocent people. Qaqa, who spoke in Hausa, said, “The JTF only brutally killed innocent poor people. There is no way our sect members up to 20 will gather in such environment and hold a council sitting. It is a lie and blatant lie. We are committed and have vowed until a Muslim State is formed in Nigeria and not going back on this.” Col. Victor Ebhaleme, the Field Operations Officer of JTF in Borno State, told newsmen yesterday that the Saturday night shootout followed an intelligence report that some suspected Boko Haram terrorists were having a meeting at a certain location in the metropolis. He did not say how the tip was confirmed, but stated that when the JTF approached the area, the terrorists “immediately opened fire on the team. Twenty of the suspects and one soldier were reportedly killed. http://saharareporters.com/news-page/boko-haram-jtf-killed-innocent-people-and-not-our-members |

No one is denying the invincibility of Israel in the middle east as at now! You guys should read my previous post before flaying me!
Yes, as at now, no country in the middle easst can stand the firepower of Israel (I'm not even talking about their Nuclear Weapons)
Of course, Israel is the Big kid with the big stick on the block! ![]() |
davidylan: you're just a bloviating nuisance. By your claims then Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Georgia and portions of Russia should be considered part of the middle east right?I've always been warned never to argue with a cret.in, I think i must capitulate now so that people will not label us with the same hue. Finally! In the west, Turkey borders Greece and Bulgaria, and the touristy part of Istanbul is also in the 3% of the country that is officially in Europe. But of course that means that 97% of the country is in Asia, and more specifically, in the Middle East. The eastern edge of Turkey borders Iraq, Iran, and Syria, and what’s in between is heavily influenced by those cultures, without most of the complications that go along with that troubled region.http://www.priceoftravel.com/2598/9-reasons-budget-travelers-should-head-to-turkey-soon/ Of course Turkey wants to be part of EU because of the perks involved, every fool knows that! Even Nigeria too will demand for that if 3% of her landmass is in Europe! |
davidylan: Really?Since you don't have points again and you are now clutching at straws, i've no choice again but to pity you, Having said that though, the majority of Turkey (97%) is in the Middle East. Only 3% of Turkey is located in Europe. You can check again on wikipedia: Traditional definition of the Middle East http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_East Is Turkey not there? You, sir, are an id.iot! |
davidylan: Daft. the problem with empty barrels like you is that internet jingoism is your only claim to fame. You said the US "dashed" turkey nuclear weapons. Even your own article makes nonsense of that clear case of misinformed stupidity. Of course bellicose idiots like you try to hide your own inadequacy with personal attacks. Not a surprise.you know u really are a dum.bass, we are talking about middle east countries that have a bone to grind with Israel and u are mentioning European countries ? ![]() For your info, nuclear weapons are not meant to be used to suppress internal insurrection (like attacking PKK) but as a means of deterrence, meaning if you bomb me, i will do worse! Now you have middle east country(Turkey) who was fitted with these weapons arguing that it should not be taken away because its part of Her own security and NATO agreed, and here you are saying its not useful to them, as i've told you before go carryam, cretin! |
davidylan: Makes zero sense. if it was "dashed" then why is the US exercising authority on whether to remove those weapons or not in the same article you quote? Or do you need me to define "dash" for you? If you dont know something just say so... too tired of ridiculous fellows just bleating around with half-baked misinformation.I'm also tired of doing back and forth with you mumu on an issue that is has apparent as the day, the weapon as at now is on Turkish soil fitted for Turkish air force, even NATO has agreed not to remove it and Turkey is using it as part of her security strategy, and here you are rambling like a cretin, ehn go and take from them naa!mtshew! |
profola2be: my brother, you got it wrong.Ok o! Then why is Israel seeking a green light from US to attack Iran nuclear facilities, So Israel can even defeat US? ![]() Ok O! ![]() |
davidylan: Idiot. Read your own quote.Mumu! you don dey gradually derail this thread o! According to the article, Turkey is vehemently against its removal and consider it part of her own security and that's why its still there till now and NATO had to oblige, is that not dash? |
davidylan: Even that is false. Read your own link... those weapons are US nuclear weapons stored on Turkish soil since Turkey is a NATO ally. Dont say what you dont know next time.I believe you can read English, Fifty of these bombs are reportedly PDF assigned for delivery by U.S. pilots, and forty are assigned for delivery by the Turkish Air Force. |
ebamma: israel has been manufacturing it own weapons since 1933 please check the link belowen.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel_Military_IndustriesNo doubt! They do alittle bit of weapon cooking too, But your post said Israel don't buy weapons from the Americans. |
davidylan: SMH. And you know that USA "dashed" Egypt nuclear weapons how? Better you take your own advice.I mean Turkey! I've corrected my post For more than 40 years, Turkey has been a quiet custodian of U.S. tactical nuclear weapons.http://thebulletin.org/web-edition/features/the-status-of-us-nuclear-weapons-turkey |
ebamma: in 1948 iraq, jordan, syria and egypt fought against israel and lost,.Yes, as at now, no country in the middle easst can stand the firepower of Israel (I'm not even talking about their Nuclear Weapons) Turkey too have nuclear weapons that US dash them israel doesn't buy any weapons from usa,the manufacture their own weapons, the egyptians can never declare war on israel because the know the will loseWhere did you get your information from? ![]() Don't ever say again what you don't know, capisce? "Israel is the largest total recipient of direct economic and military assistance from the United States since World War II, and it was the largest annual recipient from 1976 to 2003. During the Obama administration these relations reached new levels, with the two countries prepared to function in wartime as joint task forces." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel%E2%80%93United_States_military_relations |
Billyonaire: That is a very neat political move. As soon as he resigns, next phase should be massive retirement of the rank and file of the military.I still think Morsi has just shot himself in the leg! Tantawi cannot be making mouth without the support of the US, they will rather destabilize Egypt again than allowing anything to threaten Israel. |
ebamma: israel has never and will never be afraid of egypt, the first war egypt fought with israel, the lost, israel has got more advanced weapons than egypt and in case of a war israel will beat egypt hands downWar is not as easy as you think, we are not talking about weapons now, Are you aware the same America that is arming Israel with advanced weapons is also arming Egypt? Sane Governments do their best to support neighbors that will be friendly to them and go out of their ways to undermine those who won't. If Morsi have his way, Israel will become a giant Bull's eye pinned to the wall. |
Lordave: elucidate please. My brother, this situation is going to give even the American secretary of state(hillary) sleepless night tonight! We all know, the Islamic brotherhood are chameleons (after the revolution, they promised not field a presidential candidate, but when the coast was clear, they immediately fielded Morsi). They have links with many Islamic hardliners like Hamas, Hez et al in the middle east. Imagine the scenario where they control the army? That means - Sinai is no longer safe (It hasn't been safe anyway since the revolution) Hamas will now have official pass to bring in their weapons instead of tunneling like rats The Sinai will immediately become a staging port for terrorist attack into Israel. |
Israel will be very very uncomfortable now! ![]() |
This Islamic brotherhood don dey get liver o! ![]() Is there going to be a coup or Tantawi will bow to the will of the people? ![]() |
Egypt leader Mursi orders army chief Tantawi to resign https://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/62226000/jpg/_62226025_mursi_ap.jpg Relations between Mr Mursi (left) and Field Marshal Tantawi (right) have been tense Egyptian President Mohammed Mursi has ordered the retirement of the powerful head of the country's armed forces, Field Marshal Mohamad Hussein Tantawi, a presidential spokesman has said. He also said a constitutional declaration aimed at curbing presidential powers had been cancelled. Mr Mursi, who was elected in June, is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. Relations between the Brotherhood and the military have been tense since the fall of President Hosni Mubarak. It is not clear whether the president has the power to sack the head of the armed forces, or whether Field Marshal Hussein Tantawi will accept the moves. The BBC's Yolande Knell in Cairo says the president's intervention is clearly an attempt to take decisive action in his tug of war for control with the armed forces. Constitutional question Under an interim constitutional declaration issued before Mr Mursi was sworn in, the president cannot rule on matters related to the military - including appointing its leaders. The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (Scaf), which issued the declaration, also dissolved the Egyptian Parliament, which is dominated by the president's Islamist allies. As head of the Scaf, Field Marshal Tantawi became Egypt's interim ruler after President Mubarak was ousted following mass protests in February last year. Sunday's presidential announcement also said armed forces chief of staff Sami Annan was retiring. Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-19234763#FBM110892 |

Daft again. we are talking specifically about your false claim that the US dashed Turkey nuclear weapons. turkey is a south east European country by the way and not a part of the middle east you know? I already know that nuclear weapons are for detterence... that is why the US has nuclear weapons in several NATO countries of which Turkey, Germany, Netherlands and Luxemburg are a part.
on an issue that is has apparent as the day, the weapon as at now is on Turkish soil fitted for Turkish air force, even NATO has agreed not to remove it and Turkey is using it as part of her security strategy, and here you are rambling like a cretin, ehn go and take from them naa!
