I've never seen where a president is not coming out to support his or her deputy. Atiku Abubarkar made an historical remark after defeated his opponent in a kin contest of pdp primary election yesterday. Atiku name have become a household in Nigeria political arena even in some cases his name is more popular than president especially among the kids to the extent that kids mistaken his name for that of a president.

However despite his antecedent in politics Atiku Abubakar wasn't able to convince the electorates why he more capable to lead Nigeria. Atiku Abubakar have been contesting for president since 1992 31 years later.He Atiku haven't come first in all the presidential election he has participated so far he managed to emerged second position in 2019 because there is no strong opposition.


Also despite that Atiku is one of the most popular presidential candidate in 2023 there's no any assurance that he Atiku will defeat his opponent in 2023.The question is that can Atiku defeat ruling party? The Answer is no except the ruling party present the weak candidate or the party work against the party interest.

So who can defeat Atiku Abubakar in APC? Tinubu and Osinbajo will defeat Atiku Abubakar if the party members not betrayed them. How can Tinubu defeat Atiku Abubakar? Let start from north his political base. In the north his political base we need to consider some prominent people who control masses.

Today as far as north is concerned the most popular person is Muhammed Buhari the seating president follow by sultan of sokoto maybe kwankwaso Tanko yakasi Muhammed Dangote Alhassan Dantata el rufai Abudulai Gaduje and many others.

No matter who emerged APC presidential candidate Buhari will support the person since Buhari himself said he don't have preferred candidate ...kwankwaso with his new found party his followers in north will vote him already the north voters has divided. We also know who the dangote and dantata are supporting I will not deceive you this two business man are supporting anyone emerged APC presidential candidate because they want to protect their business.

In the southeast Atiku Abubakar need a serious home work here because igbo gave him 99% of their votes last time. But with peter obi defection to labour party and presidential candidate for the labour party igbo might vote him regardless of anything but never can tell because my brother can still form alliance with north in order to defeat southwest.

In the southwest region anyone emerged will get 99% support forget the fact that the region have many candidates after the primary election the elders will engage with politicans to back their brother. Stranger shouldn't expect a vote from this region.

South south Atiku is going to pick wike but wike can't win all the ss state Edo state is out of it delta vote will be divided with omo agege APC governorship candidate bayelsa state might be 50/50 because APC won the governorship election there last time, in calabar APC state APC will garner enough votes there too. In river state APC will get enough vote there as well.

North central? This is a work over for APC all the north central state are control by APC except Benue and with emergency of Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia APC will take the state from Pdp. Also the state can't vote another fulani man.

In summary APC stand a good chance in 2023 with Bola Ahmed Tinubu or Osinbajo Atiku Abubakar need to come back in 2023.Also with situation on ground north can't afford to retain power because of agitation from south if another agitation emerged in southern with ipob on ground that mean Nigeria is gone .
