Elbinawi: The participation of Northern Youths in the ongoing #Olympics is extremely poor. Less than 5%. More than 95% of the total Athletes are from Southern Nigeria. Very unfortunate!
This underlined the extreme backwardness of the North in all indices of progress and development.
And where do you find Northern Youths? BokoHaram, armed banditry and drug abuse. Leaders of the North should wake up to these challenges. And the extremely wicked and corrupt Northern Oligarchy is responsible for this extreme backwardness.
#ElbinawiTweets north iş a hook on our neck. The white are using them to make süre that africa iş underdeveloped |

FreeIgbos: Now, that's the biggest irony I still can't understand. Propaganda aside, Oduduwa has all it takes to be among Africa's greatest nations. They have absolutely nothing to lose but everything to gain. Especially now that the oil era is almost over.
The economy of Nigeria is more or less lopsidedly based in the Lagos region and breaking up Nigeria will give them the opportunity to provide jobs for their people since policies can be put in place to disenfranchise other nationals.
I think they're just afraid of going to war but they forget you can't make omelette without breaking eggs. What is at stake here is our collective survival as Southern Nigeria and to save our coming generations from bondages, sufferings and slavery. good one. |

Our problem is the system and the citizens
A system is a set of principles or procedures according to which something is done; an organized scheme or method.
If Nigeria have a good system even a mad man can rule a country.
The citizens are the problems because they allow all these criminal elite to use the current system |

Politics › Re: I Can No longer makes excuses for IPOB - here’s why by nabiz(m): 12:24pm On Jul 16, 2021 |
GodHatesBigots: As a well educated person of a certain mature age, I want to confess my shame in defending some of the actions of IPOB and MNK on this forum and it has caused me a level of exasperation.
You see, I only started to listen to MKN about February this year and was immediately caught up in the logic behind his clamour for Biafra. I was so caught up with his stirring speeches that his invectives, insults, threats, boasting, clamouring and deadly plans caught me unawares. However, I kept listening and was proud of how he rattled the cage of the Nigerian FG.
However, the insults and threats became even more desperate, brazen, and daring and I cringed at some of the pronouncements he made, which included the capturing of certain people and the murder of their children anywhere in the world. That did it for me, and I knew belonging to IPOB was impossible and contributing money was ruled out. Why? Because when you contribute your hard earned money to groups like IPOB and they buy bullets to kill, the blood of those who were killed is partly your fault.
Why am I ashamed? Because , from a position of tribal rivalry and the marginalisation of Igbos I have been stupidly defending IPOB on this forum in terms of their right for self-determination and secession from Nigeria despite the clear path to war and blood shed that they had laid out. My conscience can no more allow me to continue on this path and I now have to come out to totally denounce the antics and methods of MNK and IPOB.
These are my reasons.
1. With IPOB there is no room for dissent, I have lost followers on twitter and elsewhere, and been subject to abuse for having difference of opinion
2. Before IPOB we had lots of problems in Igbo land, but never blood shed on this massive scale, we cannot allow this continue, it must be halted.
3. IPOB propaganda is demeaning and degrading and, in many cases, laughable
4. MNK's plan before he was caught was to turn the South East into a war zone so that CNN, BBC and other major news organisations will take notice and create awareness for Biafra.
5. MNK was willingly to sacrifice all our Youth for Biafra. Meanwhile he is not their father or mother and does not seem to understand that they are human beings who have a future.
6. ESN was supposed to be in the bush, but they came out and committed wanton and random killings of our security forces many of whom were Igbo , and pretended not to be UGM
7. MNK was stubborn, almost arrogant and refused to take advice from many of his supporters. Anyone who had a difference of opinion was shut down
8. IPOB made enemies not allies. They are crude in their approach and need to be totally transformed if they want to be taken seriously.
9. MNK’s reference to Fulani people as dirty desert dwellers is unbecoming of an elder and person with a reasonable level of education, more so because of his exposure to life in the UK. We have problems with Fulani Herdsmen and Fulani politicians, but the Fulanis are not a dirty desert dwellers, they are our African brother and sisters.
10. MNK’s abuse of blacks as subhuman and stupid, was totally out of order and self-defeating. We are not subhuman; we are human beings who are victims of circumstances.
11. I am afraid that MNK and IPOB have radicalised a large number of our youth in their 20s and early 30s and they may pose a danger to the stability of the South East. Our governors and leaders must reach out to them to integrate them back into society and make them productive.
I can go on and on, but I will stop here.
In summary, I can no longer agree with IPOB, they must either change their ways or be put out of existence. We need more stable, calculated, measured and strategic voices and leaders to come out and support.
We still want Biafra and we will achieve it through less violent and more intelligent methods. But if Nigeria changes for the better we will also support Nigeria.
Thank You. you own cup of tea |

Politics › Re: SSS Killed Igboho's Relatives In Line With Buhari Shoot-On-Sight Order - Garba by nabiz(m): 8:14am On Jul 08, 2021 |
NwaNimo1: The State Security Service (SSS) killing of Sunday Igboho’s relatives is in line with President Muhammadu Buhari’s shoot-on-sight order, says the Presidency.
On Thursday, the SSS stormed the home of Mr Igboho, an agitator for the realisation of a sovereign Yoruba nation, killing two of his relatives.
Garba Shehu, Mr Buhari’s media aide, in a Tuesday statement, said, “Mr President’s directives to security services regarding anyone seen to be carrying arms, particularly AK-47, are clear and require no further illumination.
“Assault weapons are not tools of peace-loving people, and as such, regardless of who they are and where they are from, the Security Agencies should treat them all the same.”
Mr Buhari had in March directed the military to shoot anyone with sophisticated weapons like AK-47, a directive he gave to clamp down on bandits terrorising various parts of the country.
However, activists and lawyers faulted the directive, saying Nigeria is not a jungle where security operatives shoot anyone with arms.
During a one-day visit to Lagos in June, Mr Buhari restated that his shoot on sight directives remained in place, warning that his regime will act decisively and firmly against those attacking the country’s security facilities.
In January, Peoples Gazette reported how Mr Buhari endorsed lethal force against Sunday Igboho and his supporters.
A police chief told The Gazette that Mr Buhari asked Igboho and his followers to be shot on sight if they continued to “disturb public peace” in Oyo and attempt to drag Nigeria into a civil war.
The SSS said it attacked the Yoruba separatist leader’s Ibadan residence and killed two people because Mr Igboho was planning a “violent insurrection against Nigeria.”
“In the course of the exchange, two of Igboho’s armed men were gunned down while the rest were subdued and arrested. Only one DSS operative, who was shot by the assailants on his right hand, sustained injury. He has, however, received medical attention and is very stable,” said the SSS,” said the security agency.
