Well, I guess you should mail them and try explain you were taught in English all thru. Most schools are lenient with Nigerians when it comes to providing English proficiency test result

dats my point, most schools in canny waive it for Nigerians. will have to mail them cos I don'thave time to seat for the exam as the deadline to submit it is sept 15.

House, just got a mail from Concordia that my application is incomplete and il need to submit my result of an English proficiency test.

I am planning to apply for masters come 2015 at UofT, UBC, uni of waterloo to study financial mathematics/quantitative finance. These schools are extremely competitive. Please i would like to know if any of you has any advice regarding dere admission process if it is 'easy' to get in.

Most schools only send transcripts directly to Academic institutions, reputable work places and scholarship organisations. I was able to get hold of mine while serving. I served in a University and I got it sent to my HOD who handed it to me. You can try something similar like that and get it sent to someone you know who works in those categories of places I mentioned earlier.

Meanwhile, Kindly note that for your admission to be unconditional, transcripts will be required to be sent directly from your academic institution. A student copy of your transcript may only get you a conditional admission.

I understand, Its just that sending 2 official transcipts to about 3-5different schools is expensive, so I want the Student copy now, den when I get the admission, il send d official one... But If I don't succeed in getting it, will have no other choice but to let them send it officially

You can send it to an office, on the guise that they're an agency or that u wne use it for a job application or better still send it to the school you wne apply to directly
