When I tell my friends that are still staying in the state this they dont understand. I have travelled to many states in Nigeria, I am yet to see a state as backward in everything like Benue, In fact, many northern states known for underdevelopment are far better than Benue, its so obvious that the states are over 30 years behind any state in the southern Nigeria. I dont like telling people i was born in that state

The state is jst too vast I still believe it can get better if they create another state from it

I commend your state government for building good infrastructure in akwa ibom state, something we seriously lack in Benue state, but the two states still have something in common which is youth unemployment, there are no jobs, no companies.

I don't know how you come to some of the other conclusions in your comment, but That's not the reality on ground

My brother you have a point, I have worked on projects on this places that's how i come to conclusion, my thoughts is that benue and kogi is too vast if the can create new states out of this two it will help
