Kendrix69: My people Still on this Matter o Review the dates selected, may not be up to 12 months for the primary NOC. For instance Jan 1 2010 to Dec 31, 2010 isn't 12 months. So you may have to tweak it to reflect more than 12 months eg Dec 29, 2009 to Dec 31, 2010. The dates selected should be the actual dates you were working in the company because of the job reference letter. Update as advised above and if every other thing is in order, should be ok |

Ceceliatoronto: Thanks. I used NYSC to create the profile but I don't want to use it for the application. As I got extra years thanks to the work I did while doing my MSc. I just got the MSc work reference letter. Was your Masters a research work; you also need to review the requirements on the number of hours for the job to qualify, if either of your work or study was done part-time. |

xtylyn: Good day all, thanks for all the assistance so far, please I need direction, I started my MSc before marriage and the thought of changing my name and having to change it in all academic office with the thought of Nigeria system(missing script and all) stopped me from changing my name pending when I round up with the programme, now I’m about to enter the pool, will the fact I have not changed my name yet affect me? Although I intend changing my name come Jan/feb after I must have been done with my final exams but I just want to creat a profile eagerly since I have a great ielts score (expiring November next year)) and my evaluation is ongoing). Thanks Using your maiden name to create profile will not impact your PR processing as you have your marriage certificate as a proof of marriage. If you don't have any ECA yet, then, you can't create a valid profile as the ECA details are required to complete your profile creation. |

Kekereekun123: contact them to remove it. i don't know why people always prove difficult. it has been said severally evaluate your highest degree True in this case. However, some applicants may require their bachelors evaluated as well, not for additional points, especially those going through PNP pathways that their undergrad degree evaluation may be required. |

phabulous88: Evaluating his BSc and MSc does not give him an additional point. He will be awarded points based on his highest degree. Just evaluate his MSc When you get an ITA, you can then add the BSc in your personal history. The Bachelor's degree could be filled pre-ITA. There's the option to select that there's no assessment for it i.e no ECA, and I think that's what should be done. |

Chummybabyy26: Good day everyone, please I’m new here. I come seeking advice as I am presently very confused on what discussion and path to follow. At first the plan was just SINP my husband was the one in the pool, but that route started taking forever (Covid19) and all. I decided since I was almost done with my masters program, and below 30 to go for express entry. I wrote the IELT exam and had a Band 8, using the cic calculator my point is presently at 481.
Out of nowhere SINP had a draw and sent my husband an ITA, honestly at point we are really confused. Now my issue is I can’t join the pool immediately because my Wes verification is in process, not yet completed. With this new french part way what if the scores starts skyrocketing? I understand 481 is a high score but with this EE nothing is predictable.
Our SINP nomination will expire first week of December, Please if I were a close friend or sister what would you advice me to do? Should we go ahead with the one we already have at hand? Should I wait for my Wes I’m hopeful it will be completed by the ending of November.
I’m honestly in a fix and really confused. Please advice me accordingly. God bless Please, clarify if your husband has got the nomination, and if the expiry date of 1st week in December is related to the expiry/maturity date of the nomination (the initial nomination can always be renewed within few months of issuance if for any good reasons one is unable to submit application to Federal Express Entry). If above is the case, try get your verification concluded by next week so your evaluation could be completed in time for you to receive ITA before the current nomination expires. Alternatively, your husband can accept the nomination, and get the Express Entry ITA. There's grace period to submit the application, and within that period, if you got your ITA, your husband can cancel his accepted ITA and you accept yours. If all required documents are available for either of you being the PA, you can review the pros and cons of being a provincial nominee (commitment to live in the nominated province) or Federal Skilled Worker class where you you choose to live and move between provinces. However, if what your husband has is SINP ITA to submit documents. Then, as suggested by others, your husband should get all required documents complete (please no incomplete documentation as that may be a basis for rejection) and submit. There's a good chance you will get your ITA regardless of the additional points for French language applicants. Then, refer to the bolded paragraph above as your family can only loose $350 only. |

intrinsicniyi: Hi Everyone,
Quick one: COPR just got issued and it expires in June, 2021 with PR visa. However, my medicals expires in first-week of December, 2020. Can I travel to Canada after the expiration of my medicals?
I'd appreciate people's response on this.
Thanks. Apparently, your medical was extended, and that's why you have COPR validity up to Jun 2021. Besides, your COPR is all you need at this time. |

Any idea the requirements to get PFA statement from Stanbic? No idea. However, you can contact them by email or call for the requirements. When I requested for mine from my PFA, I scanned a signed request letter, with my RSA details included. |

omaihe: Hello All, I am glad to be on this platform. Please i need guidance.
I recently received an Invitation to Submit Application for Saskatchewan EOI (October) . Currently my POF in account is half of the minimum balance and then i realised i can not make use of assets/property documents to make up for this. I have a deadline to submit my application on December 6th 2020.
Kindly advise if Pension statement balance (which is over the minimum POF balance required) can be used to support my POF. If not, how can i explain any major inflow that might come in during this period which obviously would be less than 3 months before application submission if i choose to sell some properties at a short period like this.
Lastly, is it advisable to have above the required minimum balance rather than sticking to the minimum balance of the POF for the family size?
I will really appreciate feedbacks and suggestions from you all.
Thank you.
Oma Your pension is acceptable. Add it to the existing cash you have. Get reference letter and statement of account from your PFA. You can only use 25% of your pension funds as per Nigerian pensions act that only 25% is accessible after 4 months without paid employment. Yes, you can declare more than the minimum POF required. |

Kekereekun123: at bolded show us on ircc website or gcms notes where this was stated. I worked in an audit firm where only a few studied accounting and were not yet chartered. They are in canada now. Nothing like prerequisite educational qualification. Next Does your NOC require being chartered or just a bachelor. You may visit your NOC to answer. If it requires being a chartered accountant as the primary qualification to work as an accountant and you had just B.Sc Biochemistry and it was approved, all good. |

Kekereekun123: only Saskatchewan is concerned about educational requirements. Stop posting false information. Your work experience starts the day you resume the work shikena. Apparently, you're unaware. We are talking about having the requisite qualification at the right level for the experience to count and you are here talking about matching educational qualification to NOC. Again, read the initial post so you are educated about what is being discussed before responding. |

Kekereekun123: not true. For doctors you cant practice anyways without mbbs. For other occupations IRCC is not concerned about educational requirements.engineers and scientists in banks and audit firms get PR steady. You missed the point. Every NOC has employment requirements and one of it is educational. If you read the initial post, you'd have understood my response. IRCC is very much concerned if an applicant is qualified to be employed in the declared NOC. If the declared NOC in the bank or audit is any bachelor's degree, that is it. If it were college diploma, and I started working with my diploma before continuing to bachelor's, Masters and PhD, work experience starts counting from when I obtained my diploma. Hope you got the gist |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by NaijaGoingMaple: 4:27pm On Sep 19, 2020 |
francophone134: in my opinion, they start counting work experience from the year you got your degree or highest last certificate Every NOC has basic qualification requirements. For instance, if a 2-year diploma in a college or university is all that is required to practice in my declared occupation - NOC XYZ, the work experience that will count will be that after my diploma and not work done pre diploma. So if my declared NOC has professional degree eg for medical doctors, then on the job experience will be after obtaining my MBBS. |

Dimple10: I don’t think you can use an online masters degree to boost crs... No difference between online or classroom. What should be of concern is if Masters from the school is positively evaluated as Masters by the assessing bodies. Rare to get 1year online Masters that's cheap. Most online Masters span 2-3years. I did online Masters and was positively evaluated. |

Zeus04: Guys,
This is for peeps with AOR at least 6 months ago and files in Accra, I just understand that AVO has started calling people on their applications and possibly issue PPR. 3 of my friends got phone calls today to ask them if they can travel before December 31st and when they responded yes, the office from AVO told them they will get feedback from AVO today on their PPR. Some others on an AVO whatsapp group confirmed that they got calls too. Not sure what the criteria is to receive the call but one of them said it may be because of medical expiration.
The 3rd person missed 2 calls from the same number and when he tried to called back, he couldn't reach them.
I am dropping this here for us all to be close to our phones this period and also check mails regularly as well.
It will end in praise. Good to hear this. Very hopeful the PPRs from AVO will start filtering in today. Let all AVOrians stay close to their phones. |

Tolzzzzz123: Thanks for the response. I finally found a way round it, I will just claim part time work and I will still have about 3 years plus. From 2015_2017(Full time) , then Sept 2017- Oct 2019( Part time) after convocation, then Oct 2019 till date ( Full time). I think this will do and save the stress If your reference letter and documentation like employment letters support that. |

Tolzzzzz123: Thanks for the response, I was working in Abeokuta and did the masters in Ibadan but the lecture days were just Thursdays and Fridays. Can I include this in the LOE cus removing it totally will remove about 2 years plus and I will be left with 2 years plus. What's your suggestion pls Is that not including too much an info for the Analyst and Visa Officer? Were the lectures held at least 1hr after your official closing time? Remember, in providing LOE, you should be able to also have supporting documents available should they require such. If it were weekend classes, that would be sufficient. Schooling and working full-time is acceptable but how that was achieved must be explained. |

You are required to provide evidence of your educational qualifications whether ECA done or not if you had answered questions on the higher institution attended with dates. Education, and CRS calculation (using the ECA equivalence) are two different things. oginnite: Hello house. Plewase does anyone know of any case where IRCC asked for ECA for first degree at ADR after providing Masters ECA during application? |

Why not, even if it's 300, provided you're eligible to be in the pool. PNP could smile on you as an alternative to receiving an ITA. AdamsAnthony: Hello everyone,i would like to know if it's possible to dive into the pool with a CRS 460? |
