That's not all. Read the concluding statement: " Depending on your situation, there may be additional requirements." For PNP, there are requirements which you signed to when accepting the nomination. For Saskatchewan, the intention to reside in the province is on the EE ITA, and I believe it's the case for other PNPs. Blackbuddy: Once you arrive here via PNP, you are a PR holder, same as those with Federal ITA. You are free to relocate from your province with no issues when you become a citizen. To become a Canadian citizen, you must:
be a permanent resident have lived in Canada for 3 out of the last 5 years have filed your taxes, and pass a test on your rights, responsibilities and knowledge of Canada

But I will suggest you get the prior approval of nominating province so they're no problems when filing for citizenship. However, the decision is yours. claseek: thanks for your response |

Accept the ITA. Since there was no ECA, his education wasn't making any contribution to your CRS pre ITA. Therefore editing the educational qualification from Yes to No would make no changes to the CRS. You may use LOE when submitting if you want to justify the change that ECA wasn't ready. Telemaduke83: Well, I never used any ECA number because there was no need. Under the section "Has an ECA been done to access this certificate:" I simply selected "NO". Besides, the nomination was through SINP's EOI which cared little or nothing about the accompanying spouse's education or work experience because there are no extra points allocated for that. |

Post AOR on the assumption that you were not married before receiving ITA as your date of marriage cannot predate ITA. Otherwise, you would have updated your marital status on you profile and accompanying status as well. I stand to be corrected. COPR2020: Post AOR |

Since you're younger, you will be the PA. You both have Masters and more than 3years work experience. It's advisable you both take the IELTS and evaluate your credentials as hubby can contribute additional 30marks with MSc and minimum of LSWR 8777. Please use the CRS calculator to simulate different scenarios and you'd appreciate that better. https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.aspHorlaidey007: Gurus in the house pls i need your advice. My self and hubby what to start our Canada express entry and we are contemplating on who to be the PA. I'm 28 with MBA as highest qualifications I'm into Finance/accounting 6+ years of experience Hubby is 32 with Msc in computer science. He is fully into IT (programming /web development) 8+ years of experience To make this work for us what should we be aiming at for IELTS ? Can one person just take the exam? If yes looking at our profile who has a a better chance that will benefit both of us. Pls we need your advice on the next step to take. Thank you. |

Why not wait until final the review is completed. There's a reason for the final review. Titaness: That means it hasn't started fluctuating. Like I said,it only works if the status of the application is shown as complete immediately you log in before changing back to final review. If you're aren't there yet, you will get there soon. Just be patient. |

With your current IELTS score which I believe is your first attempt, it will be much easier to max out your IELTS and get additional 9 points than learning a new language aside the cost of learning and registering for TEF. Ebuncrown: Hey guys, so I just checked my IELTS results now
Me Principal Applicant L - 8.0 S - 8.0 R - 7.0 W - 7.0
Spouse L - 8.0 S - 7.5 R - 7.5 W - 7.5
With this scores our CRS scores is 457 if my LLB and Law School certificate is evaluated as 2 or more degrees and
464 if it’s evaluated as a professional degree. Still waiting for my transcript to be sent to ICES for evaluation.
I am considering the option of TEF to boost our scores. I need recommendations on great French schools in Lagos. Also how many points will French add to our CRS. Should I just write IELTS again? Thank you guys |

By creating a profile with the IELTS result, it's literally submitted because you never have to submit a hard copy to them. When you request for remarking, whether the physical copy is with you or not, that result is temporarily locked out or withdrawn and can't be validated by a third party like IRCC at that time. Yes, nobody is being prevented from creating a profile with a result that's undergoing review. The clarity you're suggesting is flawed Cryptomania: Good. Now, I see you're taking the literal meaning which I can categorically say does not apply in this case.
#1. You're not sending your IELTS results to immigration in this case, you're only creating a profile.
#2 We all know that with the current high CRS score, anything below Clb 9, cannot get you ITA, so nothing stops you from creating a profile with your present IELTS report card pending your EOR.
#3 EOR is not certain to come out positive. So is it not better to create a profile with what you presently have in order to have an edge with tie-break rule or even PNP.
#4 The Express Entry profile is made in such a way that you can always update your current status including your IELTS scores, meaning you can use your present report card, if your situation changes through EOR, you update your profile. (No misinterpretation here)
I believe with all these I've stated, there's nothing stopping anybody from creating an Express Entry profile before the outcome of EOR.
I hope there's some clarity now. |

It's a common knowledge. You may check IDP. That you can improve your scores whilst already in the pool doesn't imply you can use an IELTS under inquiry as it's locked out. You can't use it, but you can register for another IELTS, obtain higher degrees or educational qualifications, take a second language test like TEF, garner additional work experience if less than 3 years, explore PNP and the likes. Silversurfer1: Can you provide a link to the bold bit? I just perused BC's website and the EOR form and saw nothing of the sort. The only part I saw was you should hand in your TRF when you request a remark. I requested a remark of my results and I only handed in the old one when my score was increased. Mind you, I had already created my EE profile with the old result whilst awaiting the decision of the remark. If you can't use a result, that means its invalid. The result, per the BC website, is forwarded to the institutions you're applying to which require the result and even CIC recommends you can increase your CRS score whilst in the pool, which would mean that your result is valid and you need not wait for the remark to be concluded |

Yes. It's temporarily not available to be used for anything during this period until you get either your old TRF or new if any changes. ednut1: false. That's why they ask for the hard copy. Its not valid during remark |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by NaijaGoingMaple: 5:59pm On Dec 21, 2019 |
On both occasions, you were wrong. "During the period of remarking your test results cannot be used to apply for a university or to be sent to an immigration office."
The post wasn't about the result being invalid during remarking, as there was no reference to that. Silversurfer1: This is also incorrect. Your current results remain valid until there's a change in your remarked scripts. If one of the scores is increased, then the old result becomes invalid and you're given a new result. If the result remains unchanged, then your current results remain valid. Remarking doesn't affect the validity of your current result |

I assume you didn't understand what he's saying. If the IELTS result is being remarked, you can't use that result until the remarking is completed. Because, at the point of being re-evaluated, you don't have any result, and the outcome may be different. Silversurfer1: This is false. The CIC website advises that if you're in the pool and your score isn't high enough, you can improve on it. This includes getting a higher score on IELTS, sitting that French language exam, getting another degree etc. Let us not post misleading information here |
