Please did you say that the passport of the declarant or the person whose age is declared to be attached to the Birth certificate? Please I am a bit confused here.
MeineMutter:

NPC was established in 1992. You can’t use that small grey paper certificate because you were born in 1988. That’s before NPC was established.

Somebody who is, at least, 8 years above your age must do age declaration for you in a competent law court. Don’t do it at magistrate courts o or at courts where they don’t usually come to work.

Let your declarant go to state High Court of Federal High Court where their staff normally come to work regularly.

After getting the age declaration done, your delarant can then proceed to NPC to get a birth certificate for you on their letter-head that would include the passport of your declarant.

The person declaring for you would be the one Austrian lawyer would talk to and the person must know 99% things about you.

It’s better the person is your family member or uncle or aunt etc. don’t use your friends o.

Also, DONT FORGET TO INCLUDE THE PERSON’S (DECLARANT’S) NAME ON THE FORM YOU FILL THAT YOUR ARE SUBMITTING AT THE EMBASSY, AS PART OF YOUR RELATION. OF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS, THE EMBASSY LAWYER WILL PICK IT AGAINST YOU AND TOU WILL HAVE TO DO ANOTHER AGE DECLARATION AND BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND PAY ANOTHER 200k TO THE EMBASSY.

SO, MAKE SURE YOU STATE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE PERSON ON THE FORM TOO AND IT HAS TO CONFORM WITH THE ONE YOU USE ON THE AGE DECLARATION AND BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

Crime / Re: A Friend Transferred Money Into My Account, About To Put Me In Trouble! by Naijaonfire(m): 5:56pm On Nov 30, 2019
Yaoli:
Hello Nairalanders,

I had to create this new Acct to post this
Pls permit my typographical errors
Last week Saturday I was reading when I got a call from a friend that he needs my account number because his account can’t take the sum of money he wants to receive from the person that wants to transfer for him I asked him how much he said 300K I said jokingly that he should go and get a better account and stop operation student accounts. So I sent him my account details and the person sending him money credited my account 50K I told him that I revived only 50K not 300K he said yes that the person has reached his limit for the day ..

I seen him his money later in the evening via Quickteller because the server was not good and I was left with only 22K that was in my account before ok good ..

Fast forward to yesterday Evening I tried checking my account my login in and I noticed my account has been restricted I was confused on what might have happened I thought it’s something simple that I’ll walk to the bank and perfect it .. then I decided to message the costumer care I was told I need to update my Bvn informations that I should dial a particular number and follow instructions I tried it but it’s not working .

I’m suppose to visit the bank today but I was busy

Just after my Pratical in school today I was sitting when my guy called me again that is there anything wrong with my account he said I should not go to the bank because the 50K transaction that was sent earlier was fraudulent I was like wtf but he dropped the call ..

I called him again his contact was not available so after sometimes he messaged me online telling me the guy that sent it used his brothers account and he told him that it’s not from his account that his own personal account has been locked too because he later revived money directly from him and that’s how he got to know ..

What i’m after is a solution now can I go to the bank and explain my self already or what can I do to make all this not to bounce on me because I know noting about it I’ve never received any fraudulent transactions before someone said I should take him along to the bank and just hand him over when anything happens all
I need is a solution right now me mad the guy went to same primary school and secondary so I know him very well and made me trust him with my account what can I do right now
Bro, you are in for it. This exactly what happened to about 2 persons I know. Since 2017 till date, the case has not been settled after going to efcc cell n spending over 1m each. The last one even passed out from nysc without withdrawing a dine from his alawee because his are restricted up till date. So begin call on whichever God u serve to come to your aid. That your friend is an agent of destroyer. I wish you luck.
Family / Re: I Think My Husband Scammed Me by Naijaonfire(m): 3:13am On Nov 23, 2019
Mrsabuh1:
Please I seek advice from experts here as I'm lost and devastated over this issue, please bear with me as my story is a little bit long.

This is the 7th year of my marriage and the union is blessed with three kids, hubby and I stayed in UAE, but whenever I'm pregnant I come down to have my kids due to cost and also I ll be needing helping hands after delivery, it happened that when I came down to have my last child 3years ago as usual, I was preparing to return to UAE , I discovered that my Husband had canceled the resident visa for myself and our two kids, when I confronted him he said he is making plans to leave UAE and there was no point for us coming back and also business isn't moving as usual so taking care of us will cause a strain on his finances. At first I felt bad and cried about it but later I accepted my fate and moved on.

First plan was for me to apply for Canada study visa, the plan was to go with my last child and after sometimes hubby and my other kids can join me later, I got admitted into a Canadian college but when the time for visa processing hubby pulled out that we should go the express entry way, I accepted and started with registering for ielts tutorials which I did for 5 weeks, and to God b the glory I aced my exam. It was left for him to write his as he ll be standing as the primary applicant since he has lots of job experience but along the line he pulled out again and said everyone is going to Canada and he ll work out something different.

Last year he applied for US visa he was denied, he applied for Germany too, still denied. While he was doing all this I was alone in Nigeria with the kids while he stays in UAE but visits every 5 months. This year June, we had some issues that would ve resulted to divorce but we settled it with the help of some elders so he said he was going to make up for his mistake by applying for UK for both of us so we can just take a vacation to London, of course I was excited and looking up for the trip.

He applied for UK visa for both of us and lucky they granted us 6 months, I was already getting set and looking forward to the trip when he said he needed to rush down to UAE as he has some unfinished business, two days after he left I saw him updated his fb and the location was showing UK, he left without me and he didn't even inform me that he ll b going until he got there. When I confronted him he came up with the excuse that he needed to meet with some companies over investment so that way he can process resident permits for everyone at home so we all come over there at once, two days later he told me he got a job.

it's been 2 months over there already, we filed our stay for 10 days when applying for the visa and I know what he has done is messing his future chances up, now he doesn't do video call, won't pick my calls when I call at my own time, from 7pm he isn't active as no way I can reach him, before now the only time he put a call across is when he is in a bus .. I confronted him over all this and guess what,he has stopped talking to me, Wont reply my chats or even talk to me yet he reads them, our sons bday was 4 days ago and he couldn't even call to speak with him or wish him happy birthday.

I'm so confused, this is the man that I have lost lot of jobs opportunity for simply because he doesnt want me to work, I learnt fashion designing so it won't be like I'm staying at home doing nothing, I run a fashion store but trust me I'm not feeling it because its not what I'm meant to do ..

In two months time I will b 30 and you know how Nigerian systems works, the older you get, the lesser chances of getting a job I dont even know what to do with myself, please advise me what to do?

I'd also like those who ve an idea of how the system in UK works to tell me how long it takes for one to b granted residential permits in the UK so I ll know when all this will end or if it ll ever end so I can make my next move
also how possible it is for one to land UK and in two days he is already working .

I feel used, I feel like hubby used me to secure a visa and I was never in his plans..I reported the issues to our family already and he Told them all he did was for the future of myself and the kids and I shld endure but I do not know for how long..,I'm tired of this distsnce marriage ,its been 3years in distance marriage and its been hell for me.

MOD please help me post this
Please Madan, what was your behaviour towards your husband while in UAE, did you throw away your respect for your husband and started flexing muscles with him just because the govt of the country gave women a lot of powers and right? From your story, I think u were very stubborn to your husband and may have threaten to take him to the authorities over there. Your husband is only afraid to lose his family and all he has laboured if he takes you there with him because you have known the rights of women in the western world and will use it against him one day. Some of our African women becomes a sorrow/nightmare to their husbands when he out of his sweat, struggle to take his wife over there in abroad because of the love he has for her.

If I budget 800aed *.3 months = 2400aed For accommodation, how much can I budget for food, transport and other miscellaneous spending? I'll bring rice, egusi, noodles etc. Am I allowed to carry ayoola poundo? I don't eat eba and I'm scared since ayoola is white, they'll think it's cocaine
800aed is enough for accommodation and feeding for a month if you have supporting food stuff with you and know how to manage things. No need carrying rice, rice plenty here. carry your pando, no shaking. for transportation, it depends on how ur legs likes waka reach, 10 -15k per month will b ok if for buses n train but for cab, make ur pocket full. Then carry money for job ooooooooo. here if person wan give u ordinary Job info, they ask for agent fee (btw 50k - 800k) depending on job nature. Na only by God's grace you fit get job here free because most companies here now ask for money from job seekers. Good luck.

MY SUCCESS STORY.
I have been on ghost mood in this forum ever since I landed in Dubai, waiting for a day like this to share my joy with all.
I applied for Dubai Visa on 7th of January 2018 through a kid brother(agent) and it came out on the 16th of February after much verbal fight. I downloaded PCC online, did the tomb print and waybill it to Lagos to be signed and stamped (6k), it was done n waybill back to me the next day and I collected it on the 3rd day. I went straight to Abuja n did all the necessary authentication (PCC and my degree), booked a flight to fly from Abuja. On the 3rd of march, I got to the Abuja airport at 4pm and went to Emirates airline checking points, all my documents were complete but no hotel reservations. I tried to bribe my way in with 1k but staff at the point got angry with for trying to insult them with 1k, that I give them a reasonable amount. I left them, when to a cyber café upstairs, did the reservation for 2k, came back and was allowed in for other checks.
The checks were simple and I boarded, took off 7pm Nigerian time and landed at 4am Dubai time. At the airport, I changed $200 and was waiting for my so called agent to come n pick me. I used my Nigerian line to call his number at the rate of 200naira per minute n 60naira per minutes to receive calls. At the end, he asked to enter the yellow plate number cabs with meter which I did. He asked me to give the driver my phone so he can direct him where to take me to. when we got to the place, I got down n my charge was saying 50dirhams and immediately, I converted it to naira... 5k! for a distance I can treck? no wahala na abroad I don come so ooo.
When I got to my accommodation building, the guy kept me standing outside for over 2hrs, gisting. At the end he told me that I should bring money for my bed space, 150$. He went up n paid, the room owner gave me a balance of 80dirhams n I asked why because I was expecting 50$ or its equivalent but said he took 100dirhams for DEWA, kitchen n WiFi which I later found out was my agent's(a brother o) commission for bringing me to the room(In Dubai, no brother, no friend).
My first heartbreak was when I finally entered d 11x11 room with more than 13men in it and they showed me my space under d bed, 2nd was when I saw bedbugs dancing skelewo on my bed, tears dropped from my eyes. I. Started thinking of going back to 9ja but d thought of the amount I have spent already reset my brain immediately. I spent 2 days thinking of my life and the abroad I have come to. I got a friend who was consoling n advising me. until I started eating on the 3rd day.
I got to know that 90% of all these non career jobs in Dubai are bought with money, either agents ask you for money or the the company directly . With my quick study I understood that everyone in Dubai is an agent, just to inform u where they are conducting interview or a number to call, they ask for agency fee. I noticed that the jobs that can pay the level of salary I want to start with are not available even with agency fee. so I registered for Sira(DPS) and went for the training n kept submitting CVs online. I got some interview invitation n after passing, they will ask for between 300k to 850k. I was like... after spending over 1m for visa,Pre employment medical 35k@ karama) SIRA courses, flight, POD course at Dubai police academy etc, I will still pay such a huge amount to get a job I did it's interview?
On 24th of March at about 10am, a friend forwarded to me an interview that will hold that day at 11am. I was reluctant to go because I didn't apply, I was not called nor texted to come and it was almost the time for the interview but my guy insisted that I should go n try my luck. I had to go just to please him. I got to the venue at Al Qouz at abt 2pm and wrote my name on the list. number was 149. After d interview, I was selected because I have all the requirements n certificates. I submitted all the requirements n was asked to pay 1500dirhams via assurance fee(refundable after 6months) I paid and was issued a receipt as regards to that. NOTE: I paid because I was dealing with the company direct and in their head office. I signed my agreement n submitted my passport on the d 28th of April, the next day the manager travelled home(Philippine) and my visa process was not treated. the Indian that took over from him dropped our files, started telling us stories and was busy treating his brothers files.
The Philippine manager finally came back last week, called me on Sunday 22nd to sign my offer letter and today being Monday 23 to come n take my EMPLOYMENT VISA and go for medicals for Emirates ID!
Note: I NEVER MISSED MY PRAYERS, DAY N NIGHT. IT HAS BEEN GOD.

She's his wife by the customary law already. The only thing lacking now is that he's permitted to marry another wife if he pleases. The court marriage forbids that, it even prescribed jail term for him if he tries it.

Let's look on the bright side, God forbid o, if you sis decides to leave him tomorrow, all she needs is to file at a customary court. Within reasonable amount of time and minimal spending, they become history.

No, he cannot throw her out of the house or take her kids from her. She's still covered by law.

You should have been plain on this, is the man into the marriage because of your sister's/ dad's wealth or did your sister forced/tricked him to marry her? If "YES" is the answer, then make sure they secure the "arrangy/scam marriage" with court wedding but if "NO", let the natural/sincere love they have for each other that brought them into marriage flow Unless your sister has the intention to frustrate the man in future and make the marriage a hell while she stays to enjoy her actions.

Thank God you know that the conditions are too good to be true. It would have been so true if he had not asked for the 150k because the amount he asked from you is nothing compared to what he promised to do for you. It is not up to half of the Visa fee most agents charge, not up to your flight ticket, it is a little above what the so called agents who only give you address of an organization that is recruiting charge for the information.

Personally, I think he want to pay your brother who helped him with this big scam of money you guys can easily forget or he knows you will doubt his offer and won't fall mugu for him and he will capitalize on that to say he asked for just 150k to help you but you failed, so its not his fault. If he is sincere, he will do everything with his money and when your visa is out, he will ask you to pay for your flight or part of it since he claimed he is doing it for what your elder brother did for him. Be wise!

Good evening gurus in the house. Pls I will like to hear ur say on this matter.
I already have 3months tourist visa in which am planning to travel any moment from now. Notifying the person that helped me to process the visa this morning that I will be there at UAE any day from next week. He said he will be very happy to welcome me and told me that I should tell the agent that help me process the airline ticket that he/she should include my OK TO BOARD paper among the paper he will give me.
Getting to wakanow this morning to book the ticket. They told me that they don't process OTB. From there, I went to one agent perhaps if I processed it through agent maybe he will get me the OK to Board. The only response I got from the agent was they are no more requesting for OTB again. That I should just pay for my ticket and go directly.
Pls gurus in the house, am in ur hand.
1. Is it true that they are no more requesting for OTB?
2. If it is true, what's another system they adopted?
3. What and what advise can u give to HS(new comer) like me as what to encounter at departure airport and arrival airport
well I came in on Sunday with 3months Visa from Abuja airport, no OTB was asked. The only thing they asked was my invitation letter or hotel reservation which I had none. I tried to to plead with them that I will lodge in a hotel when I get there since I have my money with me but they refused so I had to go to a cyber cafe at d airport n booked for 2wks hostel reservation. Its a 3 page document that cost me 500naira each to print n 500naira internet charge, something that would have cost me less that 300 outside.my bags were not searched, no other disturbance. So try n book a hotel reservation or get an invitation letter from any of ur guys in Dubai b4 going to the airport to avoid shedding tears.

Honestly don't underestimate the power of dubizzle especially. God used that website and my Pakistani friend to save my ass. And to think of the fact that I stayed one month in this country before creating an account on the site is more than enough reason to give God glory. My testimony don dey load finish.... 95% now. My Dubai job hunting experience na very good one I must say. I only suffered delays but not really hardship even when I don't know anybody in this country, not even the person that did this visa for me (I only met the guy a week after I entered and have never seen him again). To all the newbies, just keep on doing what you're doing, believe you me there's no particular way to get a job here. Some people pay agents and get jobs while some people do the same and get duped. Some others came here thinking they have a brother who has been here for 10 years and knows every Albaab in town and it actually worked for them while some others came with the same mindset and went back after three months with nothing. Some got the job after a week or so but are back in Nigeria while others got a job two weeks to the end of their visa and are now on employment visa. The same CV I've been using to apply for a job since the first day I came here was the same CV that got me a job after 2 months. So the summary of the whole thing is just that what will be will be.
One thing I'll advise all job seekers is that no matter what even the worse comes to worst, do not overstay your visa with the hope of entering street here because even the ones there are not enjoying the feeling forget the camouflage. I believe I've helped someone with my epistle.
Thanks and God bless you. If others can be like you, many people's mindset will change.

But you are not planning to school there or are you? If yes provide your admission letter but if no, attest the available documents. Gurus, please throw more light.
