Pramod89, Thanks for responding, I quite agree with you that blogger.com is a great starting point or training ground for young bloggers to practise their skill. If I may ask do you think companies will be willing to advertise their products on a free websites like blogger.com. I use to think the only gain from blogger.com is to post your content and then earn money through google adsense. Secondly, blogger just provide you with a free webpage to promote your article.

Thanks for all the contribution, much as I agree that there are gun totting millitia in most street of Libya such as Tripoli and Benghazi, relative peace is returning to Libya as a country especially in some area of the country. I am aware they kidnap their prime minister recently but with his release the government is working to return the country to a part of development as part of its reconstruction effort. There are still a large number of foreign worker which includes african living and working in Libya. Libya situation may be likened to that of Nigeria in which Boko Haram a terrorist sect seeking to establish an islamic state in the northern part of Nigerian operates freely under the watchful eyes of the federal government of Nigeria and its security agencies such as the Nigerian army, police, navy etc and in which case innocent lives is being lost in places like Borno state, Yobe, Adamawa and Bauch state. But Nigerians are still living despite all this insecurity and bombing in Nigeria. I stand on the fact that no place on earth is peaceful. It is only almighty God that has the key to our security on earth. I would rather want to believe that if you have a dream go out and execute with faith and believing that the almighty God should be the one that is to direct you and keep you safe. Human success on earth is about taking calculated risk with a vision to succeed. If you claim people are dying in Libya and in the Mediterranean sea crossing to Europe such as Malta and italy. Come to think of it, is Nigeria safe? What about the series of kidnapping in our towns and cities including massive graduate unemployment, unresponsive and corrupt government, thieving political class, the sad tales of Nigerians who live on less than a dollar a day, our dying educational sector, poorly funded health care system. These painful stories is so many and many Nigerians are dying and our stealing political class, their family member, their friends, ally and cronies are getting richer.

Health / Just How Safe Is It To Wear Contact Lenses In Nigeria? by naijaspeak(m): 12:50pm On Dec 14, 2013
I want to confirm just how safe is it to wear contact lenses in Nigeria especially the medicated lenses for correcting refractive errors such as myopia ( short sightedness ) I was told by a medical personnel that the dust that is a common phenomenon in most countries in africa such as Nigeria makes its use unsafe. Morealso it require extra care far more than the traditional spectacle lenses. What is your opinion? The opinion of an optician or eye specialist is needed here on nairaland.

Travel / Re: I Need Tips For Entering Cameroun From Enugu Or Calabar By Road. by naijaspeak(m): 8:23pm On Dec 09, 2013
There is no problem with passport or paper , I just want a straight explanation. Such as get to Calabar or Enugu. Join a bus to Ugep it will cost you so and so and the journey is 4 hour, from there take another bus to Yaounde, it will cost so and so. Forget about my purpose of visit. I know Cameroun is visa free just like camnewtonpres said. I just want a frequent traveller on that route who have had a personal experience of the Nigerian Cameroun transport system at the border to give the cost of the journey by road and also explain the journey the way a traveller will take the journey town to town before reaching the Cameroon capital.

Travel / Re: How Can A Nigerian Get To Sao Tome N' Principe ( STP ) From Lagos or Enugu? by naijaspeak(m): 10:38am On Dec 08, 2013
Sao Tome island is an interesting destination for holiday makers as its tourism sector is growing as a lot of visitors from europe visit the island. The discovery of offshore oil in sao tome around the sea surrounding the gulf of guinea which is being claimed by the government of sao tome and Nigeria has also help to boost the economy of sao tome. Sao tome Agricultural sector is also growing especially in the area of Cocoa cultivation which is one of their main export and also is a foreign exchange earner as the Cocoa beans is shipped to Countries in the European union and is used for the manufacturing of chocolates etc. Sao Tome also has strong trade ties with its former colonial power portugal. Sao Tome is a small country but it economy is growing and it is a country that is attracting small and large scale investors. The defunct Oceanic bank of Nigeria as at then had a branch of the bank in sao tome
Travel / How Can A Nigerian Get To Sao Tome N' Principe ( STP ) From Lagos or Enugu? by naijaspeak(m): 8:36am On Dec 08, 2013
Now that the Nigerian National Carrier "Air Nigeria" that is flying the Sao Tome route via Douala ( Cameroun ) and Libreville ( Gabon ) has for several months shut down its local and international flights operation due to mismanagement and corruption. How can a Nigerian get to Sao Tome from Lagos or Enugu? Is it possible to travel to cameroun from eastern part of Nigeria by road. And then take flight from Douala to STP ( Sao Tome n' Principe ) I do know one can get to STP from Portugal, Cape Verde, and angola by Air Portugal but these routes are quite very far, time consuming and very expensive including the stress of getting visa. Since Nigeria is so close to STP I find it unpleasant going to that island through some distant countries.
