Hello gurus,
Please I'm about getting some solar materials from justcallmenu.el here. I would like to be sure if anyone has patronised the seller without regrets in terms of quantity. Main concern is that some prices he gave me are much cheaper than what installation engineers quoted. E.g he stated 10kwh felicity lit battery as #1.35m against #1.7m quoted by engineer; felicity 5kva hybrid inverter as 350k against 550k quoted by engineer.
This is nothing personal, just making enquiries before purchasing an expensive item.

This is very good for someone that is off grid. Is this PLC different from the solar charge controller or does it also do the work of the solar charge controller. If not, how does it come-in in the wiring?is before the cc or after the cc or after the inverter?

A sonoff basic with a BMV or another battery monitor can give a fine grained control of freezer and water pump better than these analogue methods. With a raspberry pi, running node red, the possibilities are endless; running the freezer only within a time period, running freezer only when the battery is charging, within a certain SOC or within a voltage range.

Please is there any device I can use to automatically switch on/off my freezer.I have a separate inverter dedicated for fridge and freezer but most times because I am not at home during the day I am unable to take advantage of the sunshine at peak ours especially on days when IKEDC switches my area off.I intend to let the freezer run on such days between 12pm and 4pm .I was home today and connected manually between those ours and because sunshine was up battery was still at full capacity at 5pm when I switched off.If I had not been at home ,it would have been wasted energy as battery would have remained fully charged for nothing.

Not unless you have faily advanced systems like Victron, SMA or fronius which allow programming of auxiliary relays

I have been suspecting that the LG tech that repaired my 1hp inverter ac under wch was damaged by a kazzeem i called to refill gas, may have installed a 1.5hp compressor for me,, b4 the repair the ac was clocking in at abt 9 to 11% load on my 5kva inverter, now it clocks in at 16 to 19% load on gen mode, my watt meter is a 13amp socket, am too lazy to swap out the ac plug to a 13amp, so as to take accurate readings

any body has a wattmeter with 15amp socket for sale?

also folks shud shine their eyes, crooked ac techs abound,, my refrigrant all leaked out from the 3 acs the useless kazeem installed, all within 3 to 5months, making me believe has have done it on purpose since he was fairly certain i would call him and he would make small change from the refilling ops

I might have one lying around somewhere rated 10 amp ( 2.5 KW)

( probably because I was experimenting to reduce current on the generator drawn by a heavy duty charger )

You can use a current limiting device (found on AliExpress) on the AC side. Oga Pranil had previously posted links to such a device - size it for about 1.8kw on a 5kva inverter like the Zinox and you should be safe.

Such a current limiting device should cost under 10k I believe.

A quick one please.
When two batteries are connected in parallel I understand the capacity increases but voltage remains same. But my question is while the batteries are being used do the two batteries drain simultaneously or one after the other.?

If you go the direct import route you would wait on average two weeks to have the controller in your hands vs. one or two days with solardepotng.
