A DAUGHTER has revealed how her twisted stepdad repeatedly raped her and got her pregnant three times - while her cruel mum let the sordid abuse take place.

The terrified schoolgirl was impregnated three times - once at the age of just 12 - by the monster.

But when she opened up to mum Mary-Louisa Andrews, she was branded a "liar" and "attention seeker" - with the 50-year-old even helping cover up the abuse.

Anokye Andrews was this year convicted of rape and a string of sexual offences and jailed for 20 years, while Mary Andrews was given five years for child cruelty.

Speaking to The Sun Online, Rochelle said: "With the pair behind bars, I finally feel safe.

“But I'll never get over the betrayal from my mother, and how she handed me to that monster.

“Now I want other survivors to know that they can get justice too.”

Rochelle's mum started dating Andrews in 2000 and at first, the fiend treated her like a "princess".

But just five months later - after the couple got engaged - Andrews abused Rochelle for the first time as they watched TV together.

She was then forced to plaster a smile on her face a week later at her mum's wedding.

Rochelle said:

"Over the next week, I hid in my room to avoid Anokye.
“Then one afternoon, he stripped naked in front of me.
“That was the first time he raped me.
“As I lay frozen, I heard Mum hoovering upstairs.
“I wanted to scream for help, but I was scared of what would happen to me.”

From then on, Andrews raped Rochelle four times a week - causing her to fall pregnant at just 12 years old.

She told her mum that the dad was a boy from school and was driven to a clinic where she had an abortion.

Sickeningly, the pregnancy didn't stop Andrews from raping his daughter and just two years later, she fell pregnant again.

This time, Rochelle told her mum Andrews had been raping her for years and that he was the dad - but in a cruel twist, Mary-Louisa helped cover up her husband's depraved crimes.

She said:

"She called me a liar and an attention seeker. “My heart broke and I burst into tears.

“I begged her to believe me, but she laughed about it with Anokye.

“The following week, Mum drove me to the hospital for another abortion. There she forced me to lie and tell them it was my boyfriend’s baby.

“I was disgusted. She knew I’d been raped, but didn’t care."

The "living nightmare" continued - with Andrews raping Rochelle most nights as her mum lay awake in the next room.

Even when Rochelle fell pregnant for a third time, Mary-Louisa paid for a private abortion and used her own name on the forms so she wouldn't arouse suspicion.

When Rochelle turned 17, she moved out and eventually told her partner Daniel about the years of horrific abuse she had suffered at the hands of her stepdad.

The mum-of-four bravely went to the police and Andrews and Mary-Louisa were arrested and later charged.

In April this year, Anokye Frimpong Andrews, 44, of Milton Keynes, was found guilty of two counts of indecent assault, seven counts of rape and one count of assault by penetration at Aylesbury Crown Court.

Mary Louisa Andrews, 50, of Milton Keynes was found guilty one count of cruelty to a person under 16 years.

Both were jailed for a total of 25 years - with Judge Francis Sheridan slamming the mum for her lack of remorse.

He said:

"The tears you shed are for yourself. I do not think any of them are for your daughter. I am not in any way influenced.

“It is time somebody told you to your face - and I will: You were a wicked mother.

"When your daughter complained, her complaints were dismissed.

"You will take that dismissal to the grave. You betrayed your daughter to stand by your husband.

“She has gone through what can only be described as a life of hell.

"There must have been times in her young life where there appeared to be almost no remission from abuse.”

Rochelle is now trying to move on with her life and is a stay-at-home mum to four children.

She said:

“I'm relieved that they were both jailed, but I'll never forgive Anokye for ruining my childhood.

“I'll also never understand how my mum let him rape me.

“She failed me just as much as he did.”

APPLE is set to make millions of iPhones redundant in just three days.

The tech giant's new release on September 10 - rumoured to be the iPhone 11 - will see a new iOS update that can only be supported from the iPhone 6s onward.

Every September, Apple dishes out loads of new features as part of an iOS update.

This year the big update is iOS 13, adding performance improvements and long-awaited features like Dark Mode and unknown caller silencing.

The new software will be released alongside Apple's latest gadget next week and will power iPhones as well as the new iPadOS.

However, the update won't work on any phones released before the iPhone 6s - meaning older devices will no longer receive security updates from Apple.
USER EXPERIENCE COMPROMISED

Without security updates, devices are more vulnerable to hackers, user experience will be compromised and iPhone users won't be able to use their device to its full potential.

Apple reportedly sold more than 200 million iPhone 6 devices - which will all become redundant once the new update is in place.

As well as the new dark mode feature, iOS 13 will see a number of improvements.

There will be a new “swipe to type” function for texting that lets you drag your finger around the keyboard to type words, just like the SwiftKey keyboard or Android phones.

Apple Maps is also getting some much-needed love, with 3D terrain mapping (courtesy of Apple flying and driving across the USA with scanning tech).

Other countries will get this eventually, but it’s US-only for now.

Apple is introducing a new ‘Sign In With Apple’ feature that offers an alternative to ‘Log In With Facebook’ buttons you see on websites.

It means you’ll be able to sign up easily (and privately) for websites using your Apple, with an option to share a fake email that reroutes emails to your actual account.

Each app gets a unique random email address, so you can disable them at any time when you’re “tired of hearing from that app”, Apple exec Craig Federighi explained earlier this year.

It’ll be available across all of Apple’s platforms, and across the web.
TIME TO UPGRADE

Your iPhone camera roll is getting a major upgrade too, thanks to artificial intelligence.

There’ll be an option to hide duplicate photos, boring screenshots and photos of receipts, so you see a streamlined album of your best snaps.

It should make looking through your camera roll much more enjoyable.

You can split your camera roll into ‘Days’, ‘Months’ and ‘Years’ to see attractive highlights over those time periods, with the AI tech applied to make it look “beautiful”, according to Apple.

Upgrades to Siri’s text-to speech function will apparently make her sound less robotic, while Memoji are getting more customisable with the addition of new makeup and accessory options.

Spam calls will also become easier to deal with: iOS 13 can automatically silence unknown callers.

The new iPhone 11 is tipped to be a direct sequel to last year's iPhone models, and will likely boast powerful specs, an amazing camera, and a swanky design.

Amongst the rumours surrounding the new gadget, it has been widely speculated that the new phone will be called iPhone Pro - but there's no way to verify this.

Apple will almost certainly introduce a new smartphone processor, pegged to be an Apple A13 chipset – which will likely provide significant speed boosts.

ENHANCED TECHNOLOGY

And according to mobile expert Dan Ives, a top industry watcher there will be three cameras on the back of the new iPhone.

"This next phone will all be about triple rear-camera capabilities, with enhanced optical lens capabilities a major selling point," said Dan, a Managing Director at Wedbush Securities.

"There could also be significantly enhanced face recognition technology and some other hardware/design enhancements to catalyse upgrades.

Another rumour suggested that an under-screen fingerprint scanner was in the works, although this might not be available in all regions.

Many Apple rivals are expected to launch 5G smartphones in 2019 but it's widely reported that Apple won't launch a 5G handset until 2020.

The top-secret iPhone 11 is tipped to be available in an all-new "matte dark green".

The information was shared by a person claiming to be a factory worker at the Taiwanese firm that builds Apple smartphones in China.

But as specialist tech site MacRumors notes, the information is difficult to verify – and could easily be faked.

After Apple faced criticism last year for hiked up prices, analyst Dan Ives, of Wedbush Securities expects two iPhones, a cheaper "base" model and a more expensive version.

Prophet kidnaps, kills church member in Owerri

One Michael Mbonu, prophet of Christ Army Ministry in Ulakpo, Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo state has allegedly kidnapped and killed his church member, Princewill Ezeji.

Ezeji was said to have gone to seek blessing from his cleric with his latest priced possession, a Toyota Camry car, and was killed and dispossessed of the car by the supposed man of God.

One Kingsley Udemba, 24, said to have capitalised on the situation to fleece Princewill’s family the sum of N960,000 as ransom, claiming to have abducted the then missing man was also paraded.

The state commissioner of police, Rabiu Ladodo who paraded the suspects before newsmen in Owerri, stated that the prophet had initially kidnapped the victim before getting rid of him.

Ladodo disclosed that once men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) from the command got wind of the disappearance of the victim through his brother, Emeka Ezeji who reported the matter, they immediately swung into action and arrested the prophet.

A sixty-year-old man, Charles Jide-Oni, who claimed to be a professor and lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, was arraigned before a Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos State for allegedly obtaining money under false pretence and engaging in advance fee fraud.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan zonal office, arraigned the ‘Professor’ and 12 other internet fraud suspects before Justice Nicholas Oweibo, the Federal High Court vacation judge for the Southwest zone, on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.

Jide-Oni’s arraignment was sequel to the EFCC’s damning findings about the activities of an illegal financial outfit he floated through which he allegedly swindled his victims of several millions of naira. Some of the victims had earlier written a petition to the Commission which led to the investigations that indicted him in the alleged fraudulent act.

Among other 12 suspects equally arraigned are Olaleye Kolapo, Madukife Ifeanyi Azuka, Fatanmi Yinka Sunday, Adebayo Bolaji Adeyinka, Adeleke Peter and Adebowale Fadairo. Others are Oyewunmi Toulope Michael, Bello Ayoade Jalal Arikalam, Owolabi Toheeb Toluope, Abdullahi Abdulazeez Oluwatobi, Temitope Fatolu and Adesina Adewale.

Fatolu (aka Gold Crumb), however, opted for a plea bargain and pleaded guilty to a one-count amended charge of fraudulent impersonation when he was presented before the court on Wednesday. He was subsequently sentenced to one year imprisonment with effect from June 20, 2019 when he was arrested.

‘Gold Crumb’ was also to restitue the sum of $500 (Five Hundred United States Dollars), through the Federal Republic of Nigeria, to his victim, and to equally forfeit his iPhone 6, Nokia 103 and Hp Laptop to the Federal government of Nigeria, being part of the benefit he derived from his fraudulent act.

Due to the bail application filed and argued by his lawyer on his behalf, Justice Oweibo granted Jide-Oni bail to the tune of N10 million and two sureties in like sum. The sureties, the court held, must be of Grade Level 10 in the civil service and must be resident in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

The judge also ordered that the accused person be remanded in Ilesha prison pending the time he is able to fulfill his bail conditions as he adjourned substantive hearing to October 14.

Unlike Fatolu, other 11 suspects, who were charged with sundry internet-related offences including obtaining money by false pretence, impersonation, being in possession of forged and fraudulent documents to defraud people, pleaded not guilty to the respective charges preferred against them.

Consequent upon their not-guilty plea, EFCC counsel, Dr. Ben Ubi, crave the court for order to remand them in prison and fix dates for the hearing of their cases. The court granted the remand prayer, and also fixed different dates for the hearings. He fixed October 7 for the hearing of Fatami’s, Adeleke’s, and Fadairo’s cases as he ordered that they are remanded in the Ilesha prison.

Olaleye and Azkuka are to be remanded in Ado-Ekiti prison till October 9 when their cases will be opened for hearing. For Abdullahi, Oyewunmi and Bello, the hearings would hold on October 14. They are ordered to take shelter in Ilesha prison till then.

The judge equally fixed October 15 and 21 for hearing of Adesina’s and Owolabi’s respective cases while both will be housed in Ilesha prison pending the adjourned date. Adebayo was, however, returned to the EFCC’s custody.

The Lagos police has arrested 83 suspects for looting various outlets of shoprite in the State.

They were subsequently arraigned before the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court on Thursday. The looters took advantage of the protest against continued killings of Nigerians in South Africa.

The defendants were arraigned on five counts bordering on conspiracy, riotous assembly, arson, stealing, malicious damage, unlawful destruction of property and conduct likely to cause the breach of peace.

The Police told the court that the suspects allegedly stole and damaged properties estimated at N500.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is seeking the support of traditional rulers in the country to tackle forms of corruption.

EFCC’s Ibadan Zonal Head, Mr Friday Bello, disclosed this when he led some officials of the commission on a visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

The team visited the traditional ruler on Friday at his palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State to solicit for support to combat the scourge of financial crimes, especially among youths.

Bello told the Ooni that the visit was at the instance of the acting EFCC Chairman, Mr Ibrahim Magu, in ensuring that crime rate was brought to a minimal level in the country.

He added that the commission would intensify its efforts in the area of the campaign against corruption in order to disabuse the minds of the youths from engaging in cybercrime.

The EFCC zonal head noted that some of the youths who have been found culpable of cybercrime, after being reformed, have been found useful in helping the commission to crack down on others still in such illegal dealings.

In his remarks, Oba Ogunwusi advised the anti-graft agency not to be one-sided but remain neutral in its fight against crimes and corruption in the country.

He also urged the commission not to allow politicians to push it against the will of the people, stressing that its actions and inactions were being monitored by the public.

The traditional ruler asked the EFCC to create a unit where youths who have been arrested for cybercrimes can be reformed and utilise their skills in positive ways.

Comedian Kevin Hart and two others are lucky to be alive following a ghastly car accident on Malibu's Mulholland Highway, early Sunday morning in California. .
.
Friend, Jared Black, was behind the wheel of Hart's recently acquired birthday gift – a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda – when he lost control and the vehicle veered off the road and into a ditch.

According to TMZ, the car crashed through a wooden fence and the roof was crushed on impact. Black and the third passenger, Rebecca Broxterman, who was not injured, were originally trapped inside.

Police later determined that Black was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. Both Hart and the driver sustained major back injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals.
