Omoyeni Anikulapo-Kuti, daughter of legendary Afrobeat singer, Fela Anikalapo-Kuti, has taken to social media to weep over the loss of an important family photo.

According to Yeni Kuti, the family photo was stolen by some unidentified people and has since not gotten hold of it.

Explaining further, she said she sees her family photo on social media always but the one who stole the photo has refused to return the photo to the rightful owners.

“It saddens me that they now post them on social media without returning them to the rightful owners. They are our memories that I would have gladly shared or put in our museums but now denied that opportunity” she wrote on her page.

Fela Anikulapo Kuti was a Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, composer, political activist, and Pan-Africanist.

He is best known as a pioneer of the Afrobeat genre, a blend of traditional Yoruba and Afro-Cuban music with funk and jazz.

The legendary musician died on August 2, 1997.

A Nigerian lady has been exposed big time at the airport while trying to transport these huge crabs overseas.

The video was shared by Nollywood actress Mary Njoku who believes it’s a disgrace for African sisters to be doing so.

In the video, you could see these huge African crabs getting out of where they were kept sparking laughter from those standing by. Those who could not help themselves broke into laughter.

One heavyweight in the Nigerian music industry, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professionally called Wizkid, is set to hold a big musical concert in Lagos, Nigeria.

The concert dubbed ‘Livespot Experience’, will take place on the 20th of December 2020 at the Eco Convention Centre in Lagos.

Wizkid is not doing it alone, he has billed the likes of Rema, Omah Lay, Simi, Rekaado Banks, Darey, Dozotun, and Dj Spinall for the concert.

According to him, there will be a pre-concert experience which will be followed by the main event.

The coronavirus pandemic has not really helped musicians across the world because they couldn’t host and perform live at events.

Many of them resorted to virtual concerts which are expensive and do not generate much money

Marvin Records signed act, Reekado Banks, has finally reacted to Wizkid’s the abusive word Wizkid used against him a few weeks ago during the ENDSARS protest.

Some weeks ago when the ENDSARS protest was very intense, Reekado started promoting a song Wizkid featured him on. Wizkid who seemed not to like the idea of promoting the song while others were losing their lives at the forefront, plainly called Reekado a fool.
