lordmayor4: Singapore1 Can you act as escrow between me and Durosure?
Want to buy paypal funds from him, he'll help me transfer to the seller. Hello house, I am a software engineer. I see this escrow problem everywhere on this thread, people need escrow services and they use other people to serve as guarantors. As a software person, i believe we can build a platform just for escrow built by nigerians. The company will be trustworthy and then scammers will be eliminated from this kind of trades. It will be like Paypal, Paypal for escrow. Please i need help and advice on how to go about building this important service. Should i form a team and you guys will join and help? Imagine a world where it's so easy to do escrow service. Imagine this scenario Mr lordmayor4 wants to buy from mr durosure. But they both don't trust each other. So they go to the escrow platform we build and they both transfer to it. They are both protected from fraud. We can have this website/escrow/service running in less that 1 month. I just need some level of interest from traders for me to know if it's a problem for you guys and if it's worth spending my time on. cc. 3RNEST Jdesigns HazzanTazzan mamaya BiafranBushBoy onatisi oxsam88 JoshMedia futurewise11 folllowingdrite dowjones dadah04 0806436bnj EMMAACHILE |

ArewaTech1: I'd used both WhoGoHost & QServers.Net both are good and with top notch support. But I used QServers.Net because of the monthly payment, the price (slightly cheaper than WhoGoHost @ about 5H to 1K {RECESSION! DEY O!}) and you're notified like 3 days prior to your service expiration and your services will still be active like 3 days after expiration (which kind of give you more than enough time to continue, of you're willing to.)
Final Verdict: Like I said, I'd used both for a period of time & both services are great; go for WhoGoHost if you wanted something tested and trusted* (QServers.Net are new in the game {we don't know whether they're gonna last long or not, but I hope they do}) go for QServers.Net if you want to pay less for a great service or if you're too lazy to pay for a whole year (probably thinking you're not gonna make it! {new bloggers I'm looking at you }. or if you're a newbie (their CC are just great and replied within hours!).
*: I heard/saw some guys complaining about WhoGoHost, so you need to consider what they're saying this is the little knowledge I had about them. {Sorry if I offend YOU}
Meanwhile: I'm working on a new Forum/Community software, any developer willing to help is highly welcomed. The team now has to members, myself and @elfakkawy.

1afrika: Exactly! It's unfortunate that such system came from the senate of the premier university and still tagged 50/50. Unilag earned more respect from me for their method, Reasonably fair. The cut off is then to their discretion. No one will feel cheated. With unilag's method, aspirants with high aggregates must av both good utme scores and o'level grades unlike UI where 4 A1, 1B2 nd 215 will secure medicine on merit while 3 B3, 2 C4 nd 280 fall short of medicine cut off, not even for ELDS, what a system! There's a big problem with UTME results. Higher institutions of repute know to put less worth on UTME results. Exam malpractice is just too common and truly it can't be trusted |

MadCow1: Being Black overseas is a real Biitch..
If you are broke, WAHALA... If you are rich, they are shocked.
Being the only black Family on a long street in a high brow neighborhood of Paris was quite funny. Na so Police patrol for the area increase, only one neighbor dey greet us (and they were an Indian family that worked in the same office with my Dad and had even worked together in Nigeria before).
One day, our old neighbors Cat jumped into our compound and when we caught it and tried to return it, this woman did not come out (though we could see her peeking from her window).
And the usual when we dey stroll for street, them go cross go the other side jejely..
Online, for my Liverpool FC official Facebook page, there is a running joke of "AFRICAN EXPERT" whenever an African makes a post. They use it to mock Africans. They say things like 'Do you people have Cable TV in Africa?'
Racism is real o!! Especially in Europe and Asia. America and Canada own no bad like that again.
The only way to overcome it is to get filthy rich because na that one dey pain dem pass to see a wealthy Black Person wey dem no fit yeye. Hi, would you invest in a Nigerian tech startup that's building a billion dollar company from Nigeria if only I can convince you. I have a business plan. A $10,000 investment is enough. In return you get equity in our company. I don't know where else someone can get capital in this economy. I promise it's going to be the best investment you ever made. Please can I just PM you my business plan. If you have the money, I am sure you will invest just on the strength of the idea. |

Good evening sir, Like I said before we are a Technology startup. I and my co-founder started www.sellernearby.com from a dormitory in University of Ibadan. We are still students. I know that every investors portfolio dream is a properly diversified portfolio. Sir, Technology in Nigeria has amazing potentials. Mark Zukerberg(6th richest man in the world) invested 26 million dollars in a Nigerian tech company that is based in Yaba Lagos. Sir in the future, there's no doubt that Technology will be a goldmine. We need a very little investment compared to the amount you initially wish to invest in a FMCG company. Think of it sir, as diversifying your portfolio, I promise you it will be the single most profitable investment. Sir, permit me to send you a private message so we can discuss this further. No we don't need 5 million sir, a 500 thousand naira investment will be more effectiveCc Seun Would Seun osewa like to invest? |

BoboYekini: We can science this schit.
The water was from a dam that has now been shut - maybe temporarily.
The green vegetation is from the water lilies that have now settled on the ground - must have been pretty dense cover in the first place. They will not be green for long.
The ground is firm, and not particularly silty or muddy because it was always hard compressed clay, overburdened over a long long time and most likely artificially leveled to allow thoroughfare. Juxtapose with the adjoining highland right to the left of it (those shanties- any regular commuter on the route knows where I refer) and the picture becomes evident.
If there was a recent increase in fertilizer waste poured in the river or any other chemicals that contains elements that cause increased growth in plants. |

futurenix: Is Dangote sugar and flour also having this acclaimed price increase? If yes thats totally unacceptable considering he has been securing forex from CBN at official rate while others don't.
In fact the prices of these items for dangote's product should be reduced instead.
I and my employees have been out of business since February so dangote can access forex and just when the CBN announced devaluation he has increased price.
Someone should please tell me dangote's sugar and flour are not part of this increment. Is that even a possibility cause he seems to have monopoly over these items at present. Dangote has sold majority of his shares in Dangote flour to Tiger brands of South Africa. So effectively, Dangote no longer owns Dangote flour and that means your theory is rubbish! |

eromspete: It only takes one subpoena from a high ranking court in the US to gain access to all the data when cases are filed in court by the law enforcement.
Still a good move sha - The end to end encryption A subpoena will no longer work because even Facebook will not know how to decrypt the messages again. Only the two participating entities in the chat can decrypt the message. So if you subpoena Facebook to give you maybe a terrorist chat messages, they will say hey we can't encrypt the messages but we can give you the encrypted messages which will be useless. The only thing law enforcement can do is maybe to subpoena any of the party involved in the chat. Tech companies no longer want to be involved with the FBI and CIA and other law enforcement because it spoils their image especially in other markets like China. If the Chinese or Russian government know a company gives out data to FBI then they ban them from China. Fun fact - Facebook is currently banned in China. But now the companies are no longer forced to comply with law enforcement because you simply can't give what you don't have. They no longer have the data/ messages.
