I got a regret mail yesterday.

But lemme share my testimony.

I'm a First Class Biochemistry graduate.
I applied for the supply chain role without Master's cos I have non.

I also applied for one one other role outside my state of residence in a British coy

I was invited for interview.
I took the risk travelled a long distance to attend the interview.

Just 4 days after, they sent me an offer straight up without any delay.

On relocating, I was given a decent accomodation with all necessary things in it for free.

It can only be God.
It's not just by my qualifications and experience

Guess what , the package is over X2 of what NBPLC has to offer for the role I applied for.
Even with their Master's requirement for a recruitment that going to 4 months now.

When God shows up, things work without any delay.

Thanks

Lemme share my testimony

After taking the risk of traveling night journey to write the NIS CBAT for ASI cadre, I wasn't shortlisted for the screening.

Before then, I have also taken another risk to attend an interview with a British coy in another state.
Just 3 days after the interview, I was sent an offer that was subjected to obtaining a clear post security clearance before resumption.

I went to the state Criminal Investigation department to obtain a Police Character Certificate and then send it to the coy.

The security clearance was done and they sent my appointment letter showing all benefits.

Guess what... The salary package is more than × 2 of what NIS would pay for the cadre I applied for.

Upon relocating, accommodation was provided with all necessary things in it.

The recruitment was concluded within a month with no additional delay. Not like Nigeria that's taking almost two years to recruit.

I'm so so happy.

It can only be God because I knew no body there.

I just saw the advert online on hotnigerianjobs and applied.
That's all.

Please I will advice that you don't leave job sites alone just to focus on NIS

Check it daily and apply for what matches your interest daily.

Thanks

I got a regret mail yesterday despite the fact that I was not even invited to take the test.

Many who got regret mail didn't get invite for the test.

But few who didn't get regret mail and haven't been invited for the test are still in the race.

Some of them are First Class Graduates with or without Master's especially in the supply chain category

ASI is highly competitive

It may be they just shortlisted only 6 in your state to pick 2 or 3 after the screening

Is the 30k a general pay for all levels whether BSC or not

And, is the job a full time job that wont allow you do something else? Or is it flexible?

I just left their office now.

They pay stipends only on your available days depending on the category you choose to work under.

So if you are going for it, just go with the passion of volunteering and not to make money cos the money paid can only take care of your tfare.

So are you convinced enough to pay the 5k?

Yes, they just want to use that to get only passionate volunteers
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Royal Mifadelo Global Foundation by Nairamotive: 11:58am On Jan 04, 2021
Same here with me.
I think the 5k is to cover the cost of ID card, uniform and other paper work.
The reason may be..some people will get these materials and not have time for the volunteering work.

From the advert that I applied from, it was stated PAID VOLUNTEER
that was around July 2020.

I did some findings and found out that the pay is around 50k as stated in the findings.

Though I have no personal experience on that so I can't be 100% sure.

After the registration,

Every other things will be in the 6 months appointment letter before upgrading to international membership.

Deocle:
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is conducting recruitment examinations for about 191,000 candidates who applied for jobs in the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

Speaking with Journalists during the exercise for candidates into the NIS on Monday in Abuja, the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board, Yakmut Alhassan Saleh, said the computer-based exam was taking place at the same time in 126 centres across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

He said: “All over the country, we have almost 190,000 candidates out of which 113,000 are Civil Defence, and for Immigration.

“We have 78,000 candidates across 126 centres in Nigeria.

“The examination is broken into three phases; we have the one for graduates and HND, NCE and OND and the third one for secondary school (leavers).”

The examination, according to him, was being conducted by JAMB to ensure transparency and avoid rancour and confusion that trailed a similar exercise a few years ago.

Yakmut said: “We need to go through a transparent method of a recruitment exercise and it has to start from the word go.

“This is just one component of the exercise, after this, we go into physical and medical as well as psychometric exercise.”

He said the Interior ministry was into partnership with JAMB to ensure that every candidate is given a fair opportunity to prove that he has the merit and requirement that we need.

On the number of vacancies that are expected to be filled by the applicants, the Board’s secretary said 9,460 jobs are up for grabs by successful candidates, adding that the results from the JAMB recruitment exam would be released immediately after the exercise.

“Immediately we get the results, we will shortlist for physical and medical checkups before 15 December (2020) IPP and capturing will commence, and they will now go for six months training for specialisation.”

“In both organisations, we are recruiting 9,460. 5,000 for civil defence and 4,460 for immigration,” Yakmut said.

You people have started creating panic now....

Cool...or maybe the salary range you chose was high side that could be another reason cos I also applied late. Cos you seem more qualified than myself.

Mine is Biochemistry.

Probably the salary range.
Because I filled my details with haste.
I would have done a simple research online about the expected salary
