An Ondo State Family Court sitting in Akure has stopped the forced marriage between Alhaji Yusuf Lateef and a 16-year old Secondary school girl.

According to OSRC, the court presided over by Justice Aderemi Adegoroye, ordered the return of the girl to her family for proper care and education and warned Lateef to stay away from her.

Alhaji Lateef had approached one of his members, Mr and Mrs Olasunkanmi, in 2019, when their daughter was 15 years old, and sought her hand in marriage. Despite the girl’s protest, her parents forced her to accept the proposal and a day was fixed for the marriage.

However, the girl, in connivance with her elder brother, Quadri, fled their Ore home on her wedding day and went to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, Akure, where she was sheltered and legal works began to stop the marriage.

Alhaji Lateef and the girl’s parents were later arraigned at the Family Court for breeching Part three of the 2007 Ondo State Child Rights Law. .

The court eventually ruled that the girl be returned to her parents and Alhaji Lateef be made to sign an undertaking to stay away from her as well as ensure no harm comes her way.

PA manhunt has been launched for a man who sexually assaulted his wife after accusing her of infidelity on Saturday May 16.

The police in Tharaka South Sub-County in Kenya said the suspect first persuaded his wife to move from their Marimanti township home, fearing that he would be arrested after having travelled from Nairobi where there is a lockdown.

On reaching Kathita River, the man who threatened to kill his wife ordered her to UnCloth. It was gathered that when she turned down his request, the man descended on her with blows while threatening to stab her with the knife he was holding.

The police read in part;

“They both went and on reaching River Kathita, he ordered her to remove all her clothes so that she may tell him all the men she had slept with while he was at Nairobi."

Tharaka South Police Commander, Kiprop Rutto said the suspect then proceeded to adding pepper, salt and onions in his wife’s private parts using a sharp knife, before applying superglue mixed with sand to ‘seal’ it off. He also applied the same super glue on his wife's ears and mouth before fleeing from the scene.

The woman managed to walk to Marimanti Police Station where she reported the matter before she was rushed to Marimanti Sub-County Hospital where she is receiving treatment. Mr Rutto added that the suspect is a known criminal in the region who is being sought by the police for various crimes.

Police said they have launched a manhunt to seize and charge him in court.

The haircut, which is around 90% cheaper than other styles, uses threaded yarn rather than synthetic hair to create the shape.

The hairstyle is known for being cheap to buy.

A hairstyle featuring distinctive braided spikes that look like the coronavirus has begun a resurgence in East Africa.

The style's revival is partly related to the financial struggles linked to the coronavirus restrictions, with it being so cheap, along with raising awareness that COVID-19 is real.

The distinctive style had gone out of fashion after real and synthetic hair imported from places like China, India and Brazil began to enter the market thanks to increased demand by locals and displays in hairdressers across the continent.

In a makeshift hairdresser's at the side of the road in Kibera, a slum in the Kenyan capital of Nairobi, Sharon Refa has started braiding the hair of young girls into what has been dubbed the "coronavirus hairstyle".

While wearing a facemask, she said: "Some grown-ups don't believe that the coronavirus is real, but then most young children appear keen to sanitise their hands and wear masks. So many adults do not do this, and that is why we came up with the corona hairstyle."

The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the probe of the Chairman, Five Star Group, Emeka Okonkwo aka E-Money, over his flamboyant lifestyle and flagrant abuse of police escorts, The source  has learnt.Okonkwo, who is the brother to musician, Kingsley Okonkwo aka K-Cee, was said to have drawn the ire of the police boss for using policemen like domestic servants.

An order, it was learnt, was immediately issued to the Lagos State Police Command to withdraw the six policemen attached to E-Money.A top police officer said, “We received a signal from the Force headquarters on Monday that the police detail of music executive, E-Money, be immediately withdrawn and an investigation into the man be launched.

So, we have withdrawn his policemen and we are inviting him for questioning. The policemen will also be interrogated.”

E-Money, who also claims to be a clearing and forwarding agent, is known for his flamboyant lifestyle.He boasts of two Rolls Royce, two Mercedes Benz G Wagons and other Sports Utility Vehicles worth billions of naira.
He is often seen on social media shaking hands with Very Important Persons including governors, senators, monarchs, ministers, and other top government officials.

When contacted on the telephone, an associate of E-Money, Chidozie Dike, said he was not aware of the development and he believed it was not true.

“I am not aware and I don’t think this is true,” Dike said.

The probe into E-Money comes less than a year after that of an Instagram celebrity Mompha, who was also known to show off his ostentatious lifestyle on social media.

Sources said that more social media celebs are also on the radar of the police and other law enforcement agencies.

A woman's breast tissues started to rot and smell like dying flesh after a botched breast reduction surgery.

In a preview clip for Monday night's episode of the series Botched, the woman, named Esmeralda, describes how she was left with a "hole" in each of her breasts after her doctor spent six months cutting out the decaying flesh.

"I've seen a lot of breast reductions, and I've seen a lot of complications from them, but this is the worst complication from a breast reduction I have ever seen," Dr. Terry Dubrow said.

Speaking with plastic surgeon Dr. Dubrow and his partner Dr. Paul Nassif, Esmeralda explains how she decided to have a breast reduction at the age of 18 because her DDD breasts were causing her back pain.

Esmeralda, who was joined by her mother and sister, says she started to get worried shortly after her surgery when she started to smell something rotting.

She says: "The smell was coming through my shirt. That's when I started to panic. I feel like we know what a dead body smells like now."

"The tissue looked like it was dying," her mom adds.

Esmeralda says her doctor assured her that they could fix it, and each time she saw him, he would cut deeper and deeper into her flesh to remove the dead skin.

She recalls: "For six months, I would go up to see him up to three times a week just so he could cut off the dead skin until it turned [into] like flesh, open flesh, but it was deep.

Dr Dubrow then asks Esmeralda if her doctor never sent her to a wound care center and she responds, stating that her original doctor had only treated her himself.

Dr. Dubrow was appalled by her first doctor's approach, adding that he had wasted precious time.

'If you have tissue necrosis and tissue loss, and you need to treat it by surgical removal, you have to do it very aggressively and very quickly,' he says in his testimonial. he said

A 33-year-old woman in Nasarawa state, Janet Ekpe, has killed her husband of eight years, Sunday Ekpe, after she discovered he was allegedly having an affair with her best friend, Hellen, in Zumbagwe community in Karu local government area of the state.

The Nation reports that Janet and Sunday had two children and seemed to be living a happy life until she noticed that Sunday's sexual desire for her started to decline after they welcomed their second child.

According to Janet, her late husband was a sex addict when they got married and this made her become one. She said she became worried after she noticed that his desire for her sexually had declined, and at so point he withdrew completely. After much investigation, she discovered that her late husband was meeting his sexual needs through her best friend, Hellen, who is a widow. Janet said she had previously boasted to her friends about her husband's prowess in bed and that some of them had even asked her to ''borrow'' him to them so that he can also meet their sexual needs.

Janet said she grew tired of her husband giving excuses severally as to why he was no longer able to have sex with her. She said at some point her late husband told her to fantasize about the times they had sex in order to satisfy her sexual urge.

Janet said she got angry one day and decided to kill him for causing her so much emotional pain and denying her what was duly hers - his body. She poisoned her husband and watched him die slowly and painfully within an hour. She also ensured that she chopped off his manhood.

In her confessional statement, Janet said

“We were married for eight years with two children. It was three years ago I discovered that my husband had fallen in love with my best friend, a widow, and had been dating her. Since then, he stopped sleeping with me; he began to starve me sexually while satisfying my best friend.

When we got married eight years ago, sex seemed to be the only thing on my husband’s mind. He was always in the mood. We would make love three or four times before morning, and when he woke up, he would be ready to continue. There were days he skipped work and we would spend the whole day making love.

We had sex in the bathroom, in the kitchen, and anywhere it caught our fancy in the house. I became used to constant sex through him and also became the envy of my close friends, including my best friend who he later fell in love with.

Whenever we shared stories of our exploits in bed, my friends felt I had the best man and jokingly begged me to allow them to have my husband just for a day because their husbands could not satisfy them in bed. But shortly after we had our two kids, I began to notice his disinterest in sex with me and his performance level began to drop.

While we were having sex on a regular basis before, it came down to two times in a week and later became so bad that we could stay for three or four months without making love. Initially, I was not bothered because I felt that he would come around it after the babies were weaned. But I was wrong. He began to starve me of sex for months on end. It got to the point that I would be begging him to sleep with me but he would rebuff my requests.

At times, he would tell me I should relive the moments we had sex every day and wallow in that fantasy. When I pestered him further, he told me he was no more interested in sex as he had had enough to last him a lifetime. He even told me that sex is not food and that if I felt so sex-starved, I should get a man to satisfy me.

I reported the matter to our church and the pastor summoned him, but he could not convince our pastor. I reported the matter to his parents in the village and some of his relations around, but he ignored their invitation. Within this period, my husband started keeping late night, which was very unusual of him.

Unknown to me, my best friend, Hellen, who is a widow, started keeping distance with me, while some of my friends started hinting that she and my husband were dating. I watched the way they acted and how happy he always seemed in her presence. I monitored them closely and caught them five times in a drinking joint in new Nyanyan. When I confronted him about it, he said I was being silly; so I decided to believe the whole story. The worst was the day I saw a text message from Helen in my husband’s phone, thanking him for giving her the best sexual satisfaction ever in her life the previous day. I was devastated. I felt sick and angry. I was hurt that my own husband could do this to me. I went back to our pastor but my husband turned down the pastor’s invitation and even stopped attending church.



At this point, he stopped coming back home most times and resorted to sleeping in hotels with Hellen. I felt like a single mum and it upset me. I confronted Helen and told her she was hurting me and that their relationship was getting stronger while they were not taking my feelings into consideration. I could not stand the thought of them being so close.

I used to love and trust my husband but he turned me into something I never knew I could become: a murderer. I killed him. I poisoned him and watched him die in our bedroom, painfully. I mixed a deadly, colorless, tasteless, and odorless substance in his meal and drinking water which destroyed his intestines immediately. He cried and struggled uncontrollably after taking the meal. He gave up after an hour and I used a sharp blade and knife to chop off his penis, place it on his chest as evidence of what killed him.

If your penis is the one that is giving you the audacity to have feelings for my best friend and refusing to listen to the advice of your parents and even your pastor, it is better to cut it off. Mr Sunday (Ekpe), a cheating, filthy, lying bastard, ought to die for me to live. I deserve to live because I am human and have blood flowing in my veins. These foolish men, you give them everything, yet they choose to fool around and play with your intelligence. I had monitored him closely and tolerated him for long and his end has come.”

An uncle of the deceased, Adakole Onoja, who was also interviewed, said he called the late Sunday several times, warning him not to sexually starve his wife.

“When his wife reported the matter to me, I invited him to my house and told him the implications of his actions. You cannot completely starve your young wife of sex and resort to dating her best friend. Many people, including his parents in the village, his pastor, and his close friends, interfered in the issue but he turned a deaf ear to them.

Maybe that was how he was destined to end his life. His wife’s action may not be right, but she is a human being too.” Onoja said

A 48-year-old pastor in Edo state has been arrested for defiling four minors aged between six and 11, three of them siblings who were placed in his care.

The oldest sibling is nine years old, and the youngest six.

The pastor who gave his name as Otobong Emerson of Believers' Ministry Church Incorporated, was paraded at the state police command on Friday May 8.

Speaking to newsmen, Otobong said the rape took place between the months of December 2019 to February 2020. He said an evil spirit led him to commit the crime, and that after sexually abusing the minors several times, he had to confess to his church general overseer because he grew a conscience.

''It happened in my room. I am their pastor. They were given to me to care for. It was my conscience that even made me report myself to my GO.'' he said

President Buhari's media aide, Bashir Ahmad has countered a viral video in which some people were seen struggling to touch the corpse of an "unidentified person" at a burial ceremony.

Some social media users had alleged that the video was from the burial ceremony of the late Emir of Rano, who died yesterday after being hospitalized after an undisclosed ailment.

Bashir Ahmad who is an indigene of Kano State, countered the claim by stating that the late monarch of one of the newly created Emirates in the state was buried inside his Palace few hours after he died.

The Presidential aide further disclosed that a Rano Emirate official also told him that the burial ceremony was attended by less than 20 people.

He tweeted;
