Paris St Germain forward Neymar will continue treatment on his foot injury in Brazil under the supervision of the club's medical team, the French Ligue 1 side have said.

Brazil international Neymar was ruled out for 10 weeks last month after he injured a metatarsal in his right foot during a 2-0 French Cup win over Strasbourg on Jan. 23.

The club confirmed that the injury was a recurrence of the problem that threatened his World Cup participation last year.

"As part of the treatment... PSG has decided to send Neymar to Brazil for 10 days," PSG said in a statement

Jose Mourinho has buried the hatchet with Arsene Wenger after paying glowing tribute to his arch rival at Laureus World Sports Awards.

The former Manchester United manager surprisingly recorded a video message to the unemployed Frenchman, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the glitzy ceremony in Monaco.

The pair were often at each other’s throats when they competed at the biggest Prem clubs.

Former Arsenal boss Wenger famously pushed Mourinho on the Stamford Bridge touchline during his second stint in charge of Chelsea.

It got nasty at times in the media with Mourinho calling Wenger a “specialist in failure” and a “Viewer”.

Mourinho said: “There were some episodes along the road. “I can only speak by myself. I really enjoyed the competition. But the real respect is always there. He made lots of history in that football club.

Wenger was recognised with the special honour for his three Prem titles and seven FA Cup victories during 22 years in North London.

There was also acknowledgement of the 2003-04 season in which Arsenal won the title without losing a Prem match.

Mourinho, 56, said: “The nickname is there – the Invincibles. Amazing. A coaching philosophy, the almost perfect team.”

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to expose her friend who allegedly trafficks Nigerian girls to Dubai for prostitution.

According to the lady identified as Lovelyn Bianca, the alleged trafficker goes by the name Precious Chinwe Orji from Uturu Onuaku in Abia state.

She said she specialises in taking desperate girls to Dubai for prostitution (including her) and makes them swear an oath with a native doctor not to run or reveal their secret..

It is also alleged that the girls take the oath with promise to pay her N3 million in the course of doing prostitution in the UAE city.

Bianca who admitted to doing prostitution in Dubai and taking the oath, also revealed that she has paid Precious the N3 million as promised.

She said she paid her 13,000 dirham twice and both of them are now free from each other.

A 38-year-old Islamic cleric, Abdul Lateef Mustapha, has been arrested by the police in the Bariga area of Lagos for having sex with his sister-in-law who is reported to be just 17 years old.

The case was reported at the Police station by the Child Protection Agency, Shomolu Unit and Mustapha was ordered to be arrested immediately.


During interrogation, Mustapha, was discovered to have continually defiled the victim whenever the wife was not around.

However, the act was exposed when the embittered victim told two of their neighbours her predicament; how her sister’s husband used to defile her but the two women did not believe her because her sister and the Islamic cleric were present.

The act that broke the camel’s back was said to have happened on 16th February, 2019, when the Islamic cleric had canal knowledge of the girl and was caught red handed. He then apologized never to do such again.

It was gathered that the suspect initially denied the act but later opened up that he had sex with the girl only once and not thrice as stated by the 17-year old victim.

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri says he is looking for some consistency from his side after they claimed a 2-1 victory in Malmo in the first leg of their Europa League last 32 tie.

It followed their 6-0 defeat against Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.

“In the last period we’ve had the problem of up and down, up and down,” said Sarri.

“4-0, 5-0 to us, 6-0… so we need to have continuity and consistency.”

Chelsea had lost four of their previous 10 games going into Thursday’s match, being beaten 4-0 at Bournemouth in the Premier League on 30 January and 2-0 at Arsenal 11 days earlier.

Sarri said Chelsea needed to “approach every match with the same level of application, determination and attention”.

The Italian added:

“You know very well that, if you are in bad mental condition in England, in 10 days you can lose three or four very important matches. So we need consistency. We have to approach every match in the same way. It’s not easy, but we have to try.”
