kikuyu1: True,but I love how these trash talking negroes try to change the subject whenever a question like this comes up! They won't answer off course but will distract us with the contents of Uncle Dangote's underwear drawer! !
Thank you Kikuyu. BTW Kikuyu is also a given male name where I come from.
fanficgirl: Which ones were shot in SA? Some of them look like they were shot in Tanzania.
All those Diamond and Ali Kiba videos you watch were done in SA. Diamond used to produce in Tanzania Kenya before he went to SA but it's SA that got him popular all over Africa. Most of the songs he produced in Tanzania and Kenya are only popular in East Africa.
Nowenuse: Why are you Kenyans so much jealous people? You Kenyans always like to lie, deny and misrepresent Tanzanians when it is very obvious that Tanzanians are better than what you paint them as. I am happy that many Nigerians and other Africans keep seeing the truth about Tanzanians no matter how you guys lie. Even a blind african can see that Tanzanians are more stylish, prettier, classy n talented than Kenyans (in the entertainment industry) and also speak better swahili than you guys. See how many of us are now loving swahili language because of Tanzanians.
Here is what your fellow Kenyan has to say about Tanzanians on quora. MtuMsuper, TayserMahiri, Kenyanstar, mtis, Hbuyosh, muafrika2
Stop tripping g.ay man. What I said is true and does not contradict what those people are saying on quora. Meanwhile what those Kenyans are saying on quora contradicts what you say Kenyans say about Tanzanians. Move on and find the next d.ick to s.crew your a.rse g.ayman.
Word.....if you have to compliment Tanzanians just compliment them without putting Kenyans down otherwise a Kenyan will come in and set things straight. Your 'compliments' are false since you know there are no Tanzanians here and you won't lose a thing by 'complimenting' them so you can say Tzians are prettier than Kenyans to piss off Kenyans but I'm sure you'd still insult them if they came here and showcased their beauty.
freshest4live: ook, somebody cannot play with you people again, remember that these ranking does not necessarily reflect the quality of the students produced but usually better amenities. Also your link is weak, why not use Times or webometrics, they are more renowned. We have much more universities than Kenya and l do not know how many award winning students these Kenyan universities can boast of. Even Ghanians are now proud of a joint satellite collaboration with FUTA and the likes. What are the achievements of Kenyan students? Haven't heard of many.
You say you have more universities than us in top 100. I give you the numbers as they are, you complain that these rankings do not reflect the quality of students. Really? What were you basing on to claim you have more universities in the top 100 than us? Moreover you go ahead and list other RANKINGS that you deem more credible yet you just trashed RANKINGS in the same paragraph! You people are special cases.
......and I'm still wondering which achievements you guys keep talking of lol. I'm yet to hear of any major discovery coming from those sides - other than the literature book writer Wole Soyinka of course. Literature - what's literature? Stop deluding yourself. Nigerian universities are crap.
arinzeejikonye: I know you still don't believe it's Nigeria, You now posting 3d images and renders
I never said it's not Nigeria. I just said it's nowhere close to an architectural masterpiece. Your buildings are so plain and tacky - more like boxes that turned out bad and the architect tries to save face by putting too much decorations on it that just makes it uglier. Look at this architecture in Nairobi then compare it with those eyesores you're posting.
genieluv: Yaaah, hoo i could learn swahili cos of Alikiba (winks) . Just kidding tho, i think i just love the flavour of the language when sung by Tanzanians.
~~~dang, i know Rosa ree, she is such a great rapper. N i just checked out the other lady, damn i love her music too. It seems like you watch Trace Mziki just like me?
Well, i kind of agree, Tanzanians seem very stylish compared to Kenyans buh in terms of looks, i can't really say, buh seems like Tanzanians look prettier, though i have not come across many Kenyan artistes so i cannot finalize my judgement.
Here is another Tanzanian artiste i admire so much. He killed this song with Mr eazi.
You can't tell people's style judging from video clips dear. Ask somebody who's been to both countries or better yet visit the countries and see for yourself. Remember those videos you're using to judge Tanzanians as stylish were actually done in SA and all the people in them other than the artist himself are South African.
freshest4live: Kenya does not have better education than Nigeria, how many of your schools are in Africa's top 100? What are the quality of the students and how many African renowned figures (at least) have your universities produced compared to Nigeria.
I wonder why you keep posting photos of salvage carriages no longer in use in Kenya in comparison to your newest trains. lol. It is a compliment on our side and insult on your side if you ask me
Lol, that was not just nice buddy. That was an ass whooping on your side. Lol. That crib was clearly millenia ahead of those BC Roman Empire concrete jungles you're posting. Here's more architecture from Kenya.
edoyad: Kenya has better education but I've never heard of any Kenyan scholar or academic winning any international awards. Do I need to mention award winning Nigerians academics ?
You have better internet but you're still here on a Nigerian website based here in Nigeria. I don't think I have ever been on or seen a Kenyan site before.
I don't hear of Nigerians winning any either. I don't expect you to be updated of everything going on in my country just like I don't give much attention to yours.
How many of those old locomotives were used for construction and how many are currently running?
The other idiot was claiming "came" should be used in a statement that stated clearly what was coming in September
This is the problem when you stay too long in slums.
You should know how unpalatable your foolishness is before you call people foolish. You obviously know nothing about what you argue over. You keep on arguing and arguing unnecessarily insulting people yet you never post any proof for what you say - just going around in circles and hurling childish insults. Cool down and make sense. First you said you have trains going at 250kph in Nigeria (lol! how absurd) and insulted everyone who didn't agree. Now it's been established that you don't have those kind of trains in Nigeria - so who's the fool now? The people you insulted for not agreeing who later came out right or you who insulted people over it yet you were wrong? So far you haven't proved that there are trains in Nigeria going at the speeds you mention (100kph - 150kph) yet you insult people as fools for not agreeing. Once it'll be established that you're wrong, are you going to accept you're the fool? Let's wait and see.
iblawi: Can you people see the report was talking of September 2016 and was written in June 2016.
Education is a problem in kenya
Insulting every person you respond to doesn't make you right or bright. I know the report was written in 2016. I also know the Abuja - Kaduna SGR is yet to get a locomotive that clocks over 100kph.
arinzeejikonye: In architecture on the African continental sphere and beyond, Nigeria is a force to reckon with
What excites Nigerians so much with that aeroplane house in the last picture? I see them posting it everywhere. It's so ugly and tacky - like some architect tried to come up with something out of this world yet didn't have the skills to do it......more like trying to carve something and instead of coming up with the Michaelangelo stuff you come up with some ugly shit that no one wants to look at.
iblawi: The one we have now moves at 160km/h. When the train was launched they used the engine which was used for construction and testing while waiting for the main one to come. Stop posting trash.
“The speed is going to be improved upon from 100 Km/h to 150 Km/h when the passenger locomotives come, say, September, because the locomotive we are using now is the one used for construction.
Your trains that are to move at between 100kph and 150kph are yet to commence. They've just been tested. While in Kenya the trains are already operating at average speeds of 120 and 100 for passenger and cargo respectively whilst both clock 160kph maximum speeds.
iblawi: The passenger trains on the line can operate at a speed between 200km/h and 250km/h. The travel time between Abuja and Kaduna will be reduced to one hour and each passenger train can carry up to 5,000 commuters. http://www.signalng.com/abuja-kaduna-railway-project-facts/
Incase you don't know our railway will stretch over 1000km each. When completed its expected to move between 200km/h - 250km/h.
Below is what was renegotiated with the Chinese early last year. This is completely different with what the previous administration negotiated. Even the narrow gauge rail rehabilitated by last administration is now to be upgraded by General Electric.
Duude, you're talking of the capacity of the rail while we are talking of what is already existing. After electrification our SGR too will travel at 250kph but the current Diesel engines have a 160kph maximum speed with an operating speed of 100kph for cargo and 120kph for passenger trains. The existing trains on Abuja - Kaduna SGR can operate at a maximum speed of 100kph. Learn to differentiate capacity from what's actually on ground. Currently there's no train in Nigeria that moves at 250kph.
68816419: how about working harder to assist kenya pay their life time debt to China and stop getting frustrated ur children may have issues in the future if u fail to pay for it now. your project is scam and the world knows that, u keeping bringing terrains , loads of goods when ever u have been busted about the prize ..Nigeria and Ethiopia have same worst terrains but could mange to bargain it with cheaper price and better quality and not rubbish station which can be built by any architects and builder with less than $1million ..." the most import aspect of a sgr is the tracks and trains and not stations as no passenger would want stay in a station for more than 10 minutes "me
I never talked about terrains. I talked about quality.
iblawi: Thank God it's 100kph and not 100kmph or 100km/h.
Useless dummy always looking for useless sources that makes him dumb.
Move along nigga. I prefer engaging people with brains. You always argue over nothing. More like thank God it's Kilometer and not km. I wonder whether you're just clueless or illiterate or never been out of your village or you're just a fool. I guess it's all that.
Yeah......I know you don't know what you're doing but that's a model of a light rail train. That's a child's play to SGR. It's like comparing a TOY Toyota corolla to Mercedes Benz Actross .....An effing TOY. Only a clueless idiot would do that.
Abuja Kaduna railway is a fast rail, not your Mombasa Nairobi used for carrying goods. You are free to post what makes you happy but don't expect me to go over this with you.
The information you need is every where online.
You're the drunk here. I gave you a link that confirms the speed of that rail and every source gives the same yet you expect us to believe the mere words of a liar like you? 100kph max for a passenger train is embarrassing at this time.
68816419: nigga, the most important thing is having well played tracks,trains and well functioning station, not to have a station where it get spoilt within short period of time, kenya may have better train stations but u have worst train cars for a project with prize tag ($3.8billion ). now compare the trains 1-2 Kenyan trains ,3-4 Nigerian trains
Those trains carry more weight and travel faster than your trains and our tracks can support more tonnes annually than yours. Our stations will obviously function better than yours - Kenya doesn't have top notch maintenance culture but it's definitely way better than Nigeria.
Your third photo explains why you need to get your brain checked
iblawi: Are those buildings worth $3 billion dollars?
3.8 billion - 0.8 billion = 3 billion
That's just part of our project and part of your project because I can't post photos of the whole project here but it clearly shows Kenya's SGR is of better quality than Nigeria's in every way. Starting with modernity, quality of buildings, top speed, amount of cargo etc.
We are talking of Nigeria and Kenya dude and you can't compare SGR with light rail. You obviously have no knowledge on railways. Here are the photos I'm talking about.
