Affiliate and Digital Marketing are like the Philosophy and Sociology of the Digital World.

A LOT of people go into it but only about 1% make money from it. Especially in Nigeria.

In fact, I suspect that most of them make MORE money from selling courses on Affiliate and Digital Marketing than they make from practising them.

Making money from either of them is NOT impossible. Vut it'd be DIFFICULT.

You'd need to compete with established websites/gurus and EVERY 19-year old girl shaking her ass on TikTok.

Plus, advances in AI have made them even more COMPETITIVE.

In essence, I'd advise you to look into learning a skill that can be practised OFFLINE.

But if you're keen on making money online, do more research about Digital Skills that are here to stay.

You can start by looking through freelance sites loke UpWork. Look for skills mentioned in MULTIPLE job postings with FEW applicants.

But whatever you do, AVOID Graphics Design.

Disregard it.

As a student, or any adult in general, EXPENSES will always sneak up on you.

Sometimes, it comes in the form of an EMERGENCY. Other times, it takes the form of a BAD HABIT like gambling.

Either way, you will ALWAYS be pressured to spend whatever you have on you.

Beating yourself up for having trouble saving money is a LOSING game.

Plus, the Time Value of Money means that saving money gives INFLATION the opportunity to eat your sweat like Suya.

What that means is if you saved #80k in January when a bag of Rice was like #75k. And by December the price of a bag of rice is now #108k, you have LOST money by saving.

Put a different way, saving money makes you POORER.

So instead of beating yourself up about not saving, FOCUS on learning a skill that generates CASHFLOW.

That way, even if you lavish money; you'd have the CAPACITY to make more.

A BUSINESS that generates cashflow is another option.

Either way, your GOAL should be to have a way to make MORE money on a REGULAR basis.

Not saving rhe little money you have just for Tinubu and Cardoso's WACKY policies to make them WORTHLESS.
