Better a satanist than a Muslim because even devil worshippers don’t believe robbing men and women right to jobs, wealth and progress in their countries is a smart idea much less spreading that cancer to every society that gives a home to them
PoliticsRe: The North Would Have Been Better If Atiku Was President by Namnam: 2:49am On Dec 11, 2021
The North would be better if Islam was completely eradicated. We just had a thread proving that all Islam and muslims want is to turn every country they inhabit into a jihadist shithole
PoliticsRe: Buhari Is Not Actually The Cause Of Insecurity In The North (see Why) by Namnam: 11:43pm On Dec 10, 2021
If they want less insecurity they can try actually advancing in a way that disencentivises terrorism

Like abolishing sharia law
Stop burning and blowing up schools
Or giving money to jihadists

South can’t protect them forever

Kenya is also a lot smaller than Nigeria and isn’t so large that the private sector gets most things done
PoliticsRe: Buhari To Visit Lagos To Inaugurate Projects On Thursday by Namnam: 6:25pm On Dec 06, 2021
This man is a fucking idiot, Lagos at this point has a population above 27 million, trying to run a city that large is stupid that’s why most infrastructure projects much like in Tokyo are designed by the private sector to be as profitable as possible

All he’s gonna do is make already existing problems in Lagos like homelessness, shit roads, floods and poor sanitation even fucking worse

PoliticsOur Electricity Problem Is An Infrastructure Problem by Namnam(op): 2:04am On Dec 05, 2021
A single cubic km of salt water has the potential energy capacity to run a country like Nigeria at its current size for well over 80 years, the actual problem with our piss poor grid isn’t how much electricity we’re producing(although that’s part of the problem) but more about how well controlled that electricity is as a circuit needs a controlled flow of energy otherwise it all flows through the circuit too fast destroying electronics and electric equipment while draining power supplies in a fraction of a second. Our infrastructure is visibly horrendous in comparison to the developed world meaning constant short circuits and cables being cut is and has been such an obnoxious for so long that it doesn’t amaze me why nearly the entire country has had issues with generators being a source of energy for so long.

It looks like the federal and provincial governments are picking up on this since they raised the budgets for infrastructure in general to N12.5 trillion

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Needs Rebuilding Plan To Overcome Woes – Gbajabiamila by Namnam: 11:26pm On Dec 04, 2021
Rebuilding fucking what? Do you have any idea how new most cities in this country actually are? It would take decades before Lagos ever gets finished even with our current industrial output of goods like cement, steel and glass

@OP can world population really fit into that box? All almost 7 billion people?
Yes infact if you were to use 40 story high rises and only allowed people to live in your standard apartment room that’s 78m in cubic size you could fit all of humanity in Togo

What about people that live just for the purpose b of destroying the ecosystem ?

I mean those wandering people that no longer have a home, those who's cattle and goats destroy farmlands and pass feases on all water sources as they cut down precious trees to build in the bushes owned by others?
That’s why we have health and safety laws and restrictions
PoliticsOverpopulation In Africa Is An Obvious Lie by Namnam(op): 6:17pm On Dec 02, 2021
There are more cows and chickens than there are people on this planet but are the cows and chickens causing extinction events in ecosystems, are they mining out patches of land so inefficiently that they destroy entire ecosystems? No because there’s a difference between the impact of how an organism behaves and how many of them there are

Westerners are notorious for wasting resources in the pursuit of profits whose value is that of a sack of turd, they sprawl out cities so intensely that mass deforestation is a norm, they design cities around cars causing constant fuel shortages, they jack up prices for ordinary goods artificially causing an even more intense need for more labour and hence resources to be extracted and a need for wars resulting in even more wasted resources, they’ve shown themselves to be against any usage of ydro or nuclear power as a source of clean safe energy in favour of energy inefficient and hyper unsafe coal oil and gas plants to make stock charts go green. It’s a waste and the endless propaganda I’ve seen western media outlets make about Nigeria chinas and India’s population being “detrimental” to the planet only makes me question how many men around the world have fallen for such blatant lies and have committed to not having kids in favour of living of life of endlessly destroying the environment and extracting and waste fully using massive amounts of resources

Overpopulationism is a hoax

Gbajure:
It is majorly private funded. That is, the money is not available for the govt to build houses etc. Investors will put money into strategic projects. Meanwhile thousands of houses are being built in Lagos daily by private interests. The problem is the refugees flocking to Lagos daily
There is nothing wrong with the immigrants

PoliticsRe: Good God Why Is The Ajaokuta Steel Mill Taking So Long To Open by Namnam(op): 4:32am On Dec 02, 2021
It’s like the entirety of the Nigerian government colllectively had a stroke and wolk with a plan that they executed and then refused violently to actually work on and now officials are looking to privatize the mill instead of fucking using it right after they built it, shit pisses me the Bleep off and makes me question how moronically corrupt and lazy officials can actually be

Guestlander:
It doesn't look like it will ever work.
Why though? The factories already built and can be turned on at any time and is but the Nigerian government refuses to run the dang thing at full capacity at a time where oil is revealing itself to be unstable for the economy and when they openly show support for opening up every other steel mill besides the ajoatuka one
PoliticsGood God Why Is The Ajaokuta Steel Mill Taking So Long To Open by Namnam(op): 2:31am On Dec 02, 2021
In a sense it’s semi open since it does produce steel but at minimal capacity, ffs it’s been pretty much completed for over 20 fucking years and the Nigerian government refuses to use it. Why?
