I think you have gotten the best advice from folks.

~ Fast & pray to God & make sure you're not an hypocrite when doing all these remember,he answers in silence.

~ Are you ready to stoop low from your ex-banker tag? If yes, then start from somewhere its never too late. Sure, they would talk, mock and do lots about you just face front you would get there and they would dance with you.

~ Try new private Uni's & poly's they are all searching for workers (graduate assistant) & funaab seems they are recruiting now.

~ Look inwards if it warrants you to relocate my brother don't hesistate.

~Be your own Prophet, deacon and Pastor.. Let your bibble guide you bro, running up and down is never the best solution.

~Finally, always put on a smiling face your problem is not the worst and would never be. Some of your mates are dead, some are lying critically ill in the hospital waiting for death, some have never gotten a job since you graduated and some are still struggling with school issues so why can't you open your mouth and say ' Thank you Lord'. I have been paraplegic for the past 6yrs & confined to a wheelchair yet i still do things able bodied cannot do even feed them. Don't give yourself high bp things would fizzle out dude. God bless

Good wife you are, having mourned your husband for so long..remember death is in inevitable so, pick up where you left and move on with life @ least the family members must surely know you have done your bit & you have to move on since you are still young to get into a new relationship and who ever says you have not done enough should kill his/her spouse and mourn till eternity..

Guys, don't let my gf read all these, she would just smile and send an e-slap to all of you who believes Nigerian women cannot do what the lady did. I have been paraplegic for the past six yrs and i have a gf in her early 20's of 4yrs meaning, i met her after my accident and we are so much in love i wonder what really made her love so strong despite my situation.God sent i suppose. If you know what it means to be paraplegic and what i face daily then you should know there is nothing different from what that lady is doing even mine is more than true love if you doubt ask questions,i would answer you asap.
Christianity EtcBlind Cleric Donates Transformer To Community by nanaman(op): 7:29am On Oct 02, 2012
Residents of Oyedeji village II, near Moniya in Akinyele Local Government area of Oyo State have expressed joy on the philanthropy of the founder of ‘Ori-Oke Alaseyori,’ Muyideen Kasali.

Kasali, a blind cleric, who got to the village barely six years ago, on Friday, presented a new 300KVA transformer which he purchased for the community.

It was learnt that Kasali had earlier donated a police post with a patrol van and a borehole to the village.

A community leader in the village Mr. Tijani Bakare, described Kasali as “a great mind in the services of God and humanity.”

Bakare recalled that the village had, hitherto, suffered hardship as a result of neglect by successive governments.

He said, “The entire village will forever be indebted to the prophet because of his humanitarian gesture. We had no potable water but he provided us borehole. We were exposed to security risk as a result of absence of police; he built a police post and donated a security van.

“Just as we continued to thank him he gave us another surprise by bringing a new transformer for the use of the community. Someone who gives you access to drinkable water free of charge could be said to have taken over government’s responsibilities.”

Another resident, Idayat Mohammed, said the country would have been a better place if government had developed rural communities.

“If we have many of the rich people in the country committing their resources to community development and poverty alleviation programmes, the society would be better,” she said.

Kasali said it was erroneous to assume that it was the responsibility of the government alone to provide amenities for the people.

“If we all wake up to the challenge, we will see that the country will be better for us all. We are praying, but, we cannot subject everything to spirituality as the attitude of Nigerians is making us fools,” he said

According to him, he took to philanthropy to demonstrate that all citizens have a role to play in a nation’s development.

He explained that the idea of buying the new transformer occurred to him as a result of huge cost of fuelling generator.

There is an iota of truth in what the guy said even the admission chairman of funaab confirmed it on tv that jamb themselves do not give preference to 2nd choice candidates so rarely would you see universitiea admitting 2md choice candidates especially federal universities: i did very well in the funaab test but my 2nd choice stuff was the probs even the VC's wife could not be od help so guys 2nd choice candidates should be weary and have a second thought and make sure your next jamb is just a uni else you would be given yourself headache but if i may suggest we need to write Jamb or the National Assembly if 2nd choice candidates would be ignored then it should be scrapped , physically challenged students should have at least 2percent in the admission list and universities must provide there cut offs before releasing any list:: OJORO CANCEL... Lol

Not here to discourage anyone but i hope what happened in EKSU last yr would not repeat itself. The issue of new VC caused the problem back then where only one list was released and same with Unaab where it took months to get the 2nd batch released despite an earlier promise of three batches. All those still expecting admission with Uniosun i would urge you to consider another way, like myself i opted for one of cheapest private uni. I asked one of the Prof. in unaab the cause of all these probs..he said NUC is very strict with the quota given to each uni so if any has exhausted is it would be difficult to get another released. You can make inquiry of the number already released to know if you still have a way in there. Best of luck dudes

Don't even worry or disturb yourself. The admission this year was not straight forward even the VC was marvelled at it but nothing anybody can do..All i know is that no 2nd choice candidate was admitted and for those those who think Unaab used any cut off its very wrong..I scored 212 in jamb and 60 in putme and chose them as my 2nd choice yet no admission, so nobody can convince me they used any composite or cut off..Thank God for private Uni that's my next option,i cant afford to waste my jamb and time anymore and for those seeking admission next year make sure you follow the following

1..Make sure you don't choose any federal university for 2nd choice because you would be called and they would not reckon with you just as Unaab did which is just a waste of money.

2..If your course is competitive try as much as possible to get a change of institution or course when Jamb releases the result..its now easier you can know how many people applied for your course via jamb site so you can change it asap and move ahead.

3..You know your worth don't follow your parents choice..follow your mind, you ask why?? nobody can know you more than yourself and make sure you don't lie to yourself since you know your ability then stick to it.

4..Rarely would you see merit in any of the admission that is running out so be prepared to do runs and know people in your choice of institution when your pass your Jamb and utme test.

Best of luck as we meet later in life

Nigeria is not good..Afe babalola is 1million plus per session they have admitted over 3000candidates yet we all shall meet in the same job market searching for jobs. Lots of private institution out there that are more cheaper and the govt owned are even coming up with high fees so why are you still trying to waste your time begging one Uni or the other..Make a private Uni your last resort eg Oduduwa goes for 374k per session and Wasco goes for 320k.fountain..400k.Yes,we all say the money is much you can't afford it but sit down and do the calculation of Uniosun where a Law student would pay about 220k when he/she is finally admitted.Don't let us lie to ourselves its hard we all know but when would it be soft?? till thy kingdom come..if you really want to go to a University that's the way out for now or you get a pd form where the cost is even more higher..Guys,i have seen a yoruba graduate working in a bank @ least you can see yourself where a 63% is not yet admitted but a 40% is admitted..We are in Nigeria where anything goes, just open your brain, pray, fast and be wise..Enough for now.

@ Wunmi,i can see how much u desire to get an admission this yr.from Unaab to Uniosun and Yabatech..If you chose Unaab as your second choice and your post utme score is more than 50 i can be of help..I would be anonymous till the admission is done and help of God for Uniosun,i think you need to give a call to mayorall ask of his number he would be of help and for Yabatech so sorry you have to forget it due to your course which is very competitive and score, BUT if all would not work out the cheapest private Universities are WASCO in Ondo which goes for 320k and ODUDUWA goes for 374k,they both accept payment by semester..Best of Luck

olavoice: there shuld b[uniosun iz ful of suprises u knw] bt u go get leg o! because dat place iz 2 competitive, u knw hw 2 reach me sha!
Personally,i thought EKSU was the worst University in Nigeria where anything goes. It was the 1st University that had no 2nd list or supplementary last year despite my 68% aggregage & 50k runs, now i can see a more worse University where 40% is on a merit list and a particular course is meant for the wards of the rich. I can now see why Nigeria would never be great except there is a revolution with or without bloodshed. For those who have not been admitted try google private universities to see which one your parents can afford like Wasco..320k, Oduduwa...374k etc and they all accept payment by semester @ least its just for us to have a certificate and get a good job. We shall all meet at the top. Don't waste your Jamb and don't think things might change next year. NEVER,so be wise.

Bobo the number is not the issue even if the Uni is to admit 10k some would not be admitted. The issue is abt ur score and faculty @ least you can't expect 500 in law just 300 including DE would only be admitted likewise Anatomy so lets keep our finger's crossed, pray and hope we are admitted since don't know the criteria or cut off like other institution.
