First of all,how many are they? That should be our first question.

Wesley is Ondo and the cheapest private Uni in Nigeria. They are very few,not even sure they would mobilise more than 200 hence the number but the decision I think was based on the fact that the Uni is a missionary school.

Politics / Government Let Us Do It Ourselves..!!! by nanaman(m): 9:38am On Oct 06, 2016
Personally,I'm tired of complaining about the politicians and the situation of the country but the way forward is what I always seek. What is the way out all these problem?

Seriously, the way our leaders are treating us shows they don't have any good plan or policy for the less privilege. We are left to attend public schools while they use our money to send their wards abroad for flamboyant lifestyle.

We have like 1m people on this forum,at least,200k visit per day. Imagine we talk to all the network providers to assign a number to us that would be managed by the selected professionals. Each member would buy N100 recharge card, instead of loading it on the person's line,it would be converted into cash. 200,000 * 100 = N200M. A project would be agreed upon such as a large hospital or a company that can create employment. After we exhaust that,we make another contribution like that, soft loans can be given at a reasonable rate. Experts, please let's look into this idea and see if there is any way we can help ourselves rather than waiting for all these politicians. They are selfish and a bunch of thieves.

If we come together, believe and trust ourselves we can bring back about the required change we desire in our country. We have professionals across the board on this platform, they can be in charge and even analyse how things can be done.

I'm always touched when I read of young people in need of little capital to start business or those on sick bed that need to travel abroad for treatment. Can't we build a large hospital that has sophicated equipments that can handle all these in all the geopolitical zones? It would create a lot of jobs.

Can we start building low cost housing with low interest that could be affordable for gateman or cleaner? It would make life easy.

Can we invest in agriculture, create the market ourselves and buy from there since we know it's for US and not THEM with the orientation that the more we patronise our goods, the more people can get jobs.

Can we start building standard schools that would teach our kids and change the face of our education.? They will not forgive us if we don't act NOW.

I don't know where to post this but I know men and women who desire change would have something to say on this noble idea.

Can it work,if we are united? If YES,how can it be implemented. If NO,why?

u can only go against this if u can't trust itself: I wonder how much could be transferred by an individual in this forum at a time. like the guy that just lost 83000 to bitcoin exchange that could be averted. I could mortgage my sienna each time before any transaction is made if we can establish a task force to that effect.

You suggested but you didn't look into the hindrances. ?

Who will bear the cost of transfer to other banks. ?

If the buyer is not interested in the goods and services, request for refund and buyer insist there is a problem with the product upon receiving the product back, what do we do?

What about the time frame in services like data resellers.?

It would not work bro. Nigerians know how to detect scammers if they follow their instincts and ask questions but most us are in a hurry to make things work.

I was once scammed on nairaland about 3yrs ago That didn't deter me from from doing business when I learnt the hard way. I bought my laptop, thumb printing machine, wrist watch, phone and started my business in school.

So sorry if you don't like my statement but seriously, the person is practically useless to himself and to the society, the person can't do anything, can't hear or see. Death would be a mercy, it will take away his suffering. smiley

Not sure about your religion but if you're a christian, the bibble says,

Love your neighbour as you love yourself.

I,your God who created you will give you tribulations, that which will show you am truly God and wil not allow such tribulations to overcome you.

I, God of wonders, will continue to do wonderful things beyond human imagination.

Do you know what the man is passing through is what some people believed cannot be real.? Now,we all know someone can be blind, deaf, dumb and still be alive in this world. I know you may not have seen such but now, reality is what you're seeing.

To me,and some others who can read between the lines, your statement means, you're either mocking the man or mocking God who created him.

Whichever you're doing shouldn't be because you don't know the man from onset neither do you know what he's passing through so,sometimes its better to keep quiet, overlook and read because tomorrow we all don't know and as a woman,we believe you have compassion on human which you didn't.

Pls,no matter any situation you find somebody, don't wish death for anybody. Though,we would all die but don't ever pray or wish death for anyone even doctors that witness it every hour still pray for patients survival.

My dear, the life we have is not ours, its just an oppurtunity that we are who we are and where we are. You and I ain't better off.

Imagine, you're in that situation,God forbid right? That's how it sounds when you make such statement.

Many bettors feel disappointed about the results of this past weekend. For those that depends on big names to win. It was disaster for them.

On Saturday,Bayern Munich started it when they draw . After that, Real Madrid played 1:1 draw. On Sunday Manchester united draw with Stoke city that was at bottom of the premier league table
. After Manchester united woes ,it is the turns of the (noisy neighbors ) Manchester city, when Tottenham beat them two (2:0) zero to break their unbeaten record of the 2016/2017 season.

But the one nobody saw it coming was Celta Vigo beating Barcelona 4:3.in a dramatic match.

If you know any other big surprise this weekend, you can add it here.

Many people make it genuinely big in Nigeria whereas many others nurse the belief that for one to make it big, one has to move out of this country in search of hard currencies like dollars $, pounds £, euros €, yen ¥ etc. Share your own view on this. You may, through your contribution, give a life changing orientation to one two interested persons.

Hussle in Nigeria involves grace of God,nepotism and bribe but abroad, its hardwork, patience and prayer.

Imagine a country where betting, scam and robbery is the mode of survival. Salaries are not paid on time even when the nation was not in recession, standard of education is falling, the currency is becoming useless and no jobs for young grads.

A nation where simple recruitment site is hard (FCSC) to build, the children of the rich get juicy appoinments as if the parents of the poor offend God and life becomes unbearable for all and sundry.

To be sincere, without any benefit of doubt,Nigeria sucks. They shout entreprenuership is the way forward, where is the capital? They come up with laws and policies that has no benefit to the poor.

My brother,if you have all it takes to move, don't hesitate because they won't change. They just want the change to begin with US.

Xam02:
I have been carrying out a bit of research of recent as regards the fate of disable nigerians from the scratch through to tertiary level. Most especially, considering the fact that I have a junior brother who is deaf and dumb but very much intelligent and technically talented; I mean witout being apprenticed at any workshop, he fixes all appliances at home, profers solution to almost all technical problems in the house.
Realising how talented he is, I am obliged to ensure the realization of his potentials and his ability to stand fit and financially stable on his own in the nearest future. But right now, my headache is how I can get a sound technical tertiary institution for him considering the fact that he will soon be through with secondary school (for the disable). I really need to have a plan on ground for him as regards life after secondary school. Is there any provision for this kind of people in nigeria(or beyond) at the tertiary level? Is there any grant made available for them? Opinions needed please.

In Nigeria,no provison for now and no law for people with disabilities.

Abroad,be rest assured,he would get comfort, study well and develop his potentials.

God bless you bro.
