New student arrival last night to TRNC from Dark Red country

So two new students arrived yesterday, specifically from Kenya. They already have a rented apartment letter with them and were only asked if there is someone in this apartment which they said NO. They only paid 750 TL which 350 TL will be refunded as tracker fee. They are asked to quarantine in their homes. I just spoke with them from their apartment.

Those with no proof of accommodation were asked to go to hotel and they will bear the hotel cost themselves.

Please ensure your PCR test is valid upon arrival and possibly have a bank card with you.
Please I need an accomodation

Please is it that the normal quarantine location of the school is not available or why did your student opt for this option?

COVID-19 Tracker upon arrival in Cyprus

After paying 750 TL you will be given a tracker which must be worn throughout your home quarantine.

One of my students arrived to Cyprus from Nigeria through OKTB this morning. Here is the tracker given to him.

Very important: only confirm your location when you have arrived at your destination. See attached for his problem where he mistakenly confirmed his location at airport.

Because what you're asking isn't a set characteristic but varies with time and airline, the responses to your inquiry won't be specific. However, I will respond based on my own experience and those of my recent students.

The cost of a flight varies depending on the time, flight class, boarding location, and carrier. As a result, it won't matter if someone tells you about the cheapest ticket. First and foremost, do you have a visa? If so, are you purchasing a one-way or round-trip ticket? After you've decided on those, go to the airline websites and enter your travel dates, boarding location, and end destination, which should be Ercan Airport, to get a price quote. The airline website is the best and most straightforward way to get a flight ticket. You can change the dates to view the rates, as well as the permitted luggage weights and other travel regulations.

The following airlines travel to North Cyprus if you are coming from Nigeria; Turkish airline, Emirate, Qatar, Egypt etc.

All legal foods from all countries are permitted. Weed/Cannabis, as well as heavy drugs, are illegal in North Cyprus. If you want to bring any products, such as human hair, don't bring too much because it will be labeled as commercial. Ensure that your food is well-packaged; anything that may have odors should be well-wrapped so that the scent does not confuse sniffing dogs. If you're bringing a live animal, be sure you have the appropriate certificates.

Each flight class has a baggage allowance. As a result, you'll need to check the airline's website before or during the ticket buying process. There are no restrictions on the amount of luggage you can bring into the country if it is not commercial.

This will be determined by the types of foods you eat in your own country that are unavailable in North Cyprus. North Cyprus, for example, does not produce palm oil or cassava flour/flakes (garri), which are commonly used by Africans, although some retailers import from Africa and sell at a greater price. Any other items brought into your country will be found in North Cyprus, not in your local delicacies.
Thanks so much. I was thinking beans, pepper, garri, semo e .t.c
Will check the flight directly then. Thanks

teewhysafe:
Hi. You need to first of all understand why your tasks are not highly relevant to your nominated occupation. Reason for this is stated in your outcome letter.

So what you need to do is either re-present your tasks matching it closely with the ANZSCO code or even nominating another occupation entirely.

We had to nominate another occupation closely related to the former hence the positive reassessment.
We didnt change any task just the nominated occupation. Hope this helps.
at emboldened did you do this within the 90days period?

TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Nanlop55: 6:31am On Aug 21, 2017
Thanks so much appreciate your contributions
jayooh:
I really don't have much light to throw than what has been stated before. Ask vetassess people if there is a way to reassess and if it makes sense to them who are familiar with vetassess itself. Just so u can inuclide your masters and up your qualification assessment, then your application might be +ve. Cos from ur write up, u gat necessary experience.
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Nanlop55: 6:30am On Aug 21, 2017
Thanks will work on it
Prolivingproof:
@Nanlop55, sorry to hear your negative skill report. if you can get your MSc certificate on urban design, i suggest you update your JD and nominate ANZSCO 232112 ( Landscape Architect) collaborate the JD with some of your CPM duties for VETASSESS to reassess.
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Nanlop55: 6:27am On Aug 21, 2017
Still trying to study that ,the issue i ham having now is i feel it is the same data base. would i now have to go back to my place of work both past and present for a different JD for the statement of service?
SegunWamiri:
Wow! Ok Sis smiley (as pointed out to jayooh).

Do you think there's any other occupation you might be able to nominate?

As per reassessing at a cheaper rate, you may see @ jorgan's recent posts on page 384 if it's applicable to your circumstance
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Nanlop55: 1:11pm On Aug 19, 2017
Started but the school issue so decided to leave it completely
SegunWamiri:
I feel he should go and get that MSc. certificate at ALL COST. Having read that the program is in Urban design, I feel really bad that he didn't process the receipt of the certificate before submitting for assessment.
TravelRe: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Nanlop55: 1:09pm On Aug 19, 2017
Please can you throw more light on this. Thanks all the same and i am a Sis oh grin grin
jayooh:
I feel strongly u should have mentioned it anyways, just to beat the 4-5year brouhaha. And then leave whoever is assessing to either relate it to construction role or not.

If there is a way u can reassess by including it at a cheaper rate, u might wanna give it a shot.

**House what can this brother do?

Geez,

I thought your Architecture was 6yrs as it is done in Ife. You graduate with MSc. It is what majority of Architecture students in Ife do.

The major issue is the degree. Do you have any other qualification?
My Msc is not Archi directly did it in Urban design so i decided to be silent about it since i have not even collected the certificate any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks

jayooh:
I think the problem was basically with your degree, so they just negated every other thing. Seems your school are one of those that they don't assess as equal to Australia. Did u complete the MSc level of achitecture or u did only 4yrs? Cos your MSc woulda made the total study year 6
