Good morning nairaladers and happy Trinity day

So I went to church with my family, at the entrance of the church members of protocol use their security gadgets to search us whether we carry any kind of weapon. Me that did not even carry Bible expect my phone and offering, yet they use their gadgets on me.

My opinion:

I was just laughing because it seems they don't trust their members again for instance me a member of more than five years and listen to the pastor almost every week.
I think this acts in church will further discourage people from attending church services but to stick to electronic programmes

All Catholic priests need the permission of their Bishops for EVERYTHING-because they share in the priesthood of Christ through them.

The Catholic Bishops that I know are unlikely to permit a priest to serve as a Best man.

If he decides to do it without his Bishop’s permission, he will be reported by other priests and punished.

How did I know? I was in the Major seminary from a diocese and reported to a Bishop for 6 years.

You friend won’t tell you this. But show him this comment and tell me what he says.�

I doubt this submission of yours. A priest is not even allowed to take a particular position even at a friend's wedding reception talk more of playing the role of best man during wedding. You know nothing about the Catholic Church
