@donlexs It means they haven't reached a final decision yet on your application, it's still being processed, don't worry b4 the week runs out, ur documents should be ready for collection

Hey guys, I called the British High Comission yesterday concerning my visa application and they say it's at the final stage of processing, does anyone know what happens at the final stage? They also said I should check the application center tomorrow to collect my documents but I haven't gotten any text directly from vfs center but I'm expecting it today, so do you think it is advisable for me to travel tomorrow morning to lagos if I don't get the text today? Also, as at yesterday, I emailed vfs and they said my application is undergoing verification at the visa section. what does that mean? Please let me know what you think about this and what I should do.

your welcome, your documents should also be ready before the end of next week for collection.

I don't think it really matters if they tell you it's used or not, when and where did you apply?

@pearls777 hi, do you mean issued or used? I got my CAS letter on 7th of September in an email from the school.

Sorry, rather what I mean is what happens at the final stage of the visa processing? they said my application is at the final stage and I should check back at the visa application center to collect my documents on thursday.

Hi, I submitted my application for a UK tier 4 student visa at the vfs center in Lagos on the 10th of September. It usually takes 15 working days for the application to be processed. I have been tracking mine online and the status for thirteen working days was "your visa application dispatched to the british deputy high commission for processing" but on the 14th day the status became ''your visa application has been forwarded to the british high commission'' which is in Abuja. Does this mean that the descion is to be made in Abuja? And if so do you think my visa would be ready within the next 1 or 2 days for collection? my course also started on the 24th of September and today is 29th. please I'll like to see your replies, thank you. Also has anyone else experienced this?
