I applied for study permit on February 26; my application was rejected on two grounds insufficient funds and traveling history

I reapply with significant new information and documents to support my application on May 2, 2013, with a letter from my uncle expressing shock, that I do not have a traveling history very disturbing, traveling history is not in their requirements of student visa application that he visited the high commissions website countless numbers of time, and never saw previous traveling history as a condition or criteria for student visa application, he indicate that he visited their site before writing this letter and could not find a phrase suggesting that such history is required for student visa application.

In the letter my uncle was upset that his finance capacity to sponsor me has been put in Doubt.

He gives me additional document, than I included my account statement and additional document to proof my financial ability,

onuawuchi: Did they really skip us or have they treated our applications, and kept them for final decision. I mean the late april and early may applicants? I have taking time to read through the previous parts of this thread, and it seems obvious that ones your application time is jumped over and probably lingers, the decision will only take the chance of a hairs breath not to be a denial. My question is, why would they take so long a time to deny an application. Bearing in mind that the time wasted is not just the time they put your documents on hold. I'm sure the number of applicants in Nigeria is in no way near the number they deal with in countries like India. Dear Lord! Help us

Usually the embassy contacts the School for verification. Is it possible the school might be the one causing the delay? I intend contacting my school to find out if they've been contacted on my matter. Is there any harm in doing this?

My application contain, Proof of Business company document, I believe is the documents that was submitted that is causing the delay?

my school contact the embassy May 10 and send Payment Confirmation to the embassy, i was also send copy of the mail and the Confirmation letter that was send to the embassy, i submitted may 2, no respond form the embassy till date, Confirmation form School to embassy do not take up to 5 working days to confirm.

latra: My good pple I submitted on the April 17th and all this while it has been like hell waiting endlessly for a call for Medical but to no avail, just yesterday here I even tut of going to CDHC to make a an inquiring abt my application. Behold just this morning at about 11:40am I saw an email alert from CDHC asking me to proceed without delay for medical examination.... I can't shout please can u help me shout GOD IS GREAT!!!

They never reach MAY for head quarters sef, So we really need to chill but don't take overdose of the chill pill.

@lagos residents, If you find your way to CDHC office, you can ask the date they are working on.

that is for Applications Submitted Inside Canada, not Applications Submitted Outside Canada, application submitted outside Canada, the Call Centre does not have information about the date they are working such application, i know a guy who Submitted on may 4th Paper Application not online, and has been called for medicals
