now course i seen it with some women too,

but ya know the hand usually points at the guy,, i've seen so many age restrictions with men who are 35 45 55 65 an older, who will put looking for a girl or woman between the ages of 18 or 21 but no older then 25 or 30 or 40 hell i think some would choose the option of 16 if they allowed it,,but then they have must not be older then the guy him self example 45 year old man only wants a woman ages 18-30 an even some think 30 is too old,

but these are the same ones who exspect younger women to lower thier own preferances of age so that it now fits them into the mix,,now if the woman refuses then she is labeled a b itch stuck up shallow an the list is endless,, yet aren't they the ones who earn the title of shallow if you wont even give somebody in your own age range or own race the time of day, makes me wonder what kind of emotional an mental hangups these poeple are really carrying around, an what is so bad about being with or wanting to be around people in your own range, i've seen some good looking older ladies around so why are they getting knocked to the back of the shelf,


now i've heard a s hit long list of reasons why older men want younger women an vise versa,, i see it like the hangups an complants some have about older women are the same complants that the younger women have about the older men so it works both ways,


i've been with older an bit younger so now at my short lived age of 29 i know what suits me an what i'm comfortable with, 28-40yr is cool an works for me,

i heard somebody say if you wont date somebody older then yourself then dont exspect somebody younger to want to date you either,

Hey all, have been wondering this for a while now and maybe you can help? I am a NON smoker and have found myself overlooking profiles of men that do smoke as I think they would not want to get to know someone who smokes. Some of them are ones that I think that I might be a good match to,so my question is should I let them decide or should I stick to a MAN who smokes? Thank you for any insight you can offer as I am sure I am not the only one who has thought about this.

I have been on NAIRALAND on and off for awhile now, and I recently had an experience that leaves me confused. I met a man (Lawyer) who, in his profile, stated his age to be 54. Upon meeting, he told me he was 56. He asked me out and when I questioned him as to why he had lied about his age on his profile he told me he was actually 57. So he lied to me twice. He said it is vanity and the fact that he wants to attract a younger women. What he in fact did, was not allow me to make a decision based on true facts. In his profile he states very clearly he is honest. What are people so dishonest? I am losing faith,

I know there are threads that mayhave brush on this subject, but I'm looking for more. I've been dating a woman for 3 months and within the last couple of weeks have realized that I'm in love. I haven't told her though because I don't think she's ready to hear it. Can I REALLY be in love after only 3 months? How long does it take YOU to fall in love? Does it vary? As a side question, if you're in love but don't know that your partner is too, do you risk her/his running by telling her/him?
