Cantonese:
The headless mob choose better lives over poverty , penury and suffering. They are not blind and bewitched. They do not ignorantly follow leaders, who impoverish and make life miserable for them. Those who they follow are accountable and have integrity. Their leaders do not need to bribe them at the polling booths to get their votes. Their leaders know that they would be shown the way out if they loot the treasury or perform poorly.

Now let’s see your preference.

You prefer leaders who have completely bewitched you; leaders with zero integrity and accountability; those who you do not bother to ask why your life remains miserable; those who give you serpents in place of bread; those who bribe you with two thousand naira and you give them additional four years to make living a hell for you.

“Mark my word”? You? “one misfortune to another”? An accomplished man? A man who has publicly announced that he is very wealthy several times? He was born into great wealth, made his personal wealth and will remain so for eternity. At your age he did not have to struggle to eat as you presently struggle. Where will misfortune meet such a man, settled long ago with a family? Maybe misfortune has been your lot all your life, otherwise at your age you should not be talking about misfortune.

Your childish, baba so pe and irresponsible comment singled out a particular tribe for remark. Why not look at your own tribe for failure to make your example?

Why not even contest the position of the secretary of your street’s tenants association to know what elections feel like?

Jealousy, envy and bitterness never allow people like you make it in life. Clearly you are the kind of NFA youth that others must keep away from, otherwise hard life will be their lot.
Why is your life so miserable on a Friday?

When was the last time you heard any news in the media about Bukola Saraki?
It appears, his political trajectory is downward. Politians really do not like this, rather they want citizens to discuss and idolise them.
I will advise, you leave the op and face your deep bitter soul.

IT GOT WORSE IN 2023

The ‘O To Ge’ offensive has effectively dethroned him from the status of a kingmaker to a commoner. As things stand, the outcome of the 2023 general election seemed to have nailed the political influence of the family in the state.

Though Bukola managed to win his polling unit in the presidential election, the PDP only secured 29,978 votes while APC won with 47,784 in Saraki’s Ilorin West LGA.

In the end, the PDP secured 136,909 votes, the APC polled 263,572 votes in the state. All the senatorial and house of representatives seats from the state went to the APC.

In the governorship election, Saraki’s party lost all the 16 LGAs in the state to the APC, including Ilorin West. APC also swept 23 of the 24 state house of assembly seats of the state.

IS THIS THE END OF THE SARAKI DYNASTY?

Titilope Anifowoshe, a lawyer and public affairs analyst, in a chat with TheCable, said the 2023 elections broke the last straw on Saraki’s back.

Anifowoshe added that the landslide victory for the APC in Kwara holds so much water on what the PDP needs to learn about the political dynamics of the state.

“The 2023 election in Kwara seems to be the final nail in the coffin of the Saraki Dynasty. Times may change, but there is so much to learn from the overwhelming victory recorded by the APC in Kwara,” Anifowoshe, a Kwara-born lawyer, said.

“Considering allegations of vote buying, it may be too early to attribute the fall of PDP in Kwara to the yearnings of Kwarans for good governance. However, concluding that the political game has changed is safe.”

Anifowoshe further argued that the imposition of party candidates ruined the show for Saraki in the contest.

“A huge percentage of Kwara PDP stakeholders were allegedly dissatisfied with the primaries. The primaries that elected the candidates of PDP were marred by the massive imposition from Bukola’s camp,” the lawyer added.

Beyond that, though, there were also complaints by Kwara civil servants about their welfare.

Abdulrazaq, the governor, has paid salaries regularly and also approved promotions on time, some of the workers told TheCable.

“Our promotions were delayed under AbdulFatah Ahmed, the former governor,” a teacher told TheCable.

“Abdulrazaq had made our welfare his priority and there was no way I would not have voted for him. Most of us are happy with him.”

That means the resuscitation of the Saraki dynasty may take much longer, if it will ever happen

PoliticsAn Open Letter To The President Elect (Bola Ahmed Tinubu): Our Expectations by Natajo2021(op):
Dear President-elect,(BAT)
Congratulations on your election as the leader of our country. As you prepare to take office, I wanted to share with you some of our expectations as citizens of this developing nation.
I'm inspired to write you another open letter on Nairaland as a result of the destructive letter of Chimaamanda, published in https://www.theatlantic.com/press-releases/archive/2023/04/chimamanda-adichie-open-letter-president-biden/673652/

https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2023/04/nigerias-hollow-democracy/673647/

To me, our Nairaland.com is the best forum in the World. I was sensitise to the letter through this laudable platform and traced the source. I read the said letter from A to Z, and came to a conclusion, that if we do not celebrate and promote our own, noone will. For this reason I apologise on behalves of over 8 Millions Nigerians that voted for you, We did not do enough to celebrate you before now. We left the stage for the enemies to demarket your victory in the spirit of no winner,no vanquished in order to give everyone a right and sense of belonging in the renew hope which you promised the Nigeria electorates. We had almost allowed the enemies to paint your victory as unworthy. For the record, the election that returned you as the President elect was free and fair ,and almost the best in the history of Nigeria. I cast my vote in Arepo, Ogun state and voted for APC, though I'm not a card carrying member of any political party. I can attest before any established authority that the election was indeed free and fair. We were deeply happy that you won the election, but choose not to celebrate the victory in order not to make the losers feel bad and add salt to their open wound and defeat at the poll. I reflect on your slogan "A renew hope" which I interpret as an encouragement that Nigerians should not give up despite the destruction caused in 8 years of destruction by the locust, the cankerworm, the caterpillar and the grasshopper of the outgoing administration. This was the only motivation that made me to vote for APC.
We demand more from you, not going to be easy but the Almighty God that made you the President elect of Nigeria will give you the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to meet Nigeria at the point of her expectations.

Firstly, I expect you to prioritize the well-being of our citizens. This includes ensuring access to quality healthcare, education, and basic necessities such as clean water and sanitation. It is also important that you address poverty and inequality, and work towards improving the standard of living for all citizens across the diversity. May you also restore the glory of Naira as you embark on the aforementioned.

Secondly, I expect you to prioritize economic growth and development. Our country has vast potential for growth, and I believe that with the right policies and investments, we can achieve significant progress. This includes creating an environment that encourages foreign investment, fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, and providing support for small businesses. Our population should be an asset, not a liability. China turn her population to asset, India is following suit.

Thirdly, I expect you to prioritize good governance and transparency. Corruption has been a major issue in our country, and it has hindered progress and development. I expect you to lead by example and ensure that your administration is accountable to the people. This includes implementing policies and mechanisms that promote transparency, integrity, and the rule of law. Rwanda is a template you can study in achieving this, though not in the rule of law.

Fourthly, I expect you to prioritize environmental sustainability. Our country is blessed with natural resources, and it is important that we preserve them for future generations. This includes promoting renewable energy, reducing pollution, and protecting our forests and wildlife.

Lastly, I expect you to be a unifying figure for our country. Our nation is diverse, with different cultures, religions, and political views. It is important that you work towards building bridges and fostering unity among our people. This includes promoting dialogue, tolerance, and respect for diversity. Also ensure the restructuring of Nigeria, devolution of economic power to the constituent states, resources control and true Federalism should be given necessary consideration.

In conclusion, I believe that you have a great responsibility as the leader of our country, and I have high expectations for your presidency. I hope that you will work tirelessly to address the needs of our citizens, promote economic growth and development, ensure good governance and transparency, protect our environment, and promote unity among our people.
If you implement our expectations, we will not only plead that you go for 2nd term, we will force you to remain our life President by reviewing the constitution.

Sincerely,
Omoluwabi

PoliticsA Letter To Nairalanders: What I Learnt From Bat Victory by Natajo2021(op): 6:13am On Apr 10, 2023
Fellow Nairalanders,
I am writing to you today to share with you the valuable lessons that I learned from
the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigeria President elect. his recent experience of achieving a worthy victory.
BAT victory has taught me some important things about life that I believe are worth sharing.

First and foremost, the victory has taught me that hard work and perseverance pay off in the end. Achieving success is not easy, and it often requires significant effort and dedication. However, if you keep pushing forward and don't give up, you can achieve great things. I learned that even when things get tough, it's important to keep going and believe in yourself, and never get distracted by the antics of fake prophets, GO, critics and enemies.

Secondly, the victory of BAT has taught me the importance of having a positive mindset (Emilokan). Our thoughts have a powerful impact on our lives, and having a positive outlook can make all the difference in achieving our goals. I learned that focusing on the positive aspects of a situation and believing in one abilities helped one to stay motivated and confident, even when faced with challenges.

The victory of BAT has also taught me the importance of teamwork, negotiation, inter-ethnic consideration, consultation and collaboration. While individual effort is important, working together with others can lead to even greater success. I learned that by collaborating with others and leveraging their strengths, we can achieve more than we could on our own.

Lastly, the victory of BAT has taught me that success is not just about the destination but also about the journey. While achieving your goals is important, it's also important to enjoy the process and learn from his experiences along the way. I learned that by staying present and embracing the journey, we can find joy and fulfillment in our endeavors. May the administration of BAT renew our hope as a Nation.

In conclusion, this worthy victory of BAT has taught me some important life lessons that I will carry with me for years to come. I hope that the lesson and experience from BAT victory can also inspire you to pursue your goals with determination, positivity (Emilokan), collaboration, and appreciation for his political journey and ascendancy to the exalted seat of power.
Thanks for reading.
Sincerely,
Omoluwabi

I have no doubt that your leadership will help guide Nigeria towards greater prosperity, security, and progress.

The Nigerian president elect is indeed a believer and a man of destiny. I will rather be a believer than a faithless Christian.
In his ascendency to the exalted position, he was ridiculed, attacked, betrayed and called all the bitter names in the history of Nigeria politics.
The man of destiny fought both enemies within and outside.
Noone born of a woman can take away your divine mandate to lead Nigeria, Amen.
God appointed you as Mordecai of our time. Your enemies shall bow before you.
BAT was indeed a man of destiny.
He was betrayed by many individuals he brought up politically.
He was molested by the Pentecostal churches despite his explanation that he was not an antichrist, rather his choice was a political calculation that was necessary to win the election. It was the toughest election, competitive, free and fair in the history of Nigeria.
The list of enemies within is endless.
APC, the party he co-founded
Prof Yemi Osinbajo, the Judas Iscariot he trusted. We the children of Oduduwa would not forgive this fake and greedy pastor even if the president elect forgive you.
Babafemi Ojodu, the Judas he brought up politically.
The enemies from outside
Rotimi Amechi-He wanted the power at all cost, he took 95% of Federal government projects to Katsina state.
Bode George-Pathological hatred for the president elect.
The Pentecostal churches- Were deceived by Peter Obi
The press and social media, including Arise TV, Channel TV, Thisday-They were taken over and overwhelmed by the viral movement, deep hatred and campaign against BAT
The IGBOs-Pathological hatred for BAT
The PDP
The Aso rock cabals
The NNPC cabals
Abubakar Malami
The CBN governor (Godwin Emefiele)
The endless list of AKOTILETAs of Yoruba land.that were brainwashed by the IGBOs.
Congratulations to the president elect.
May your time usher in prosperity for the masses.
The overall winner in this election is the Nigeria masses.
The heroes of the election: Gov Wike and the G5 Governor.
The people of Northern Nigeria and Rivers State.
Kayode Fayemi- Stepped down for BAT.

Add your best wishes for Emilokan.

His penchant for lying is 2nd to none.

He remains perpetually stuck in anger and denial, pursuing a case where there was none.
The main primary rigger and looser of 2023 presidential election is busying pursuing the wind.
How long would it take Obi-diot to catch up with the wind.
He is guilty of the accusations he filled at the tribunal.

It is plain english that does not require argument. The court should be where any argument is made just as PODATTI has done.

Baba soyinka is a man that I respect and I believe should be respected but I sincerely think age has caught up with him.

He should try to rest more and make peace with his creator than engaging in some of these things. Because even most of questions thrown at him by Ruben abati and others during his interview at arisetv were not properly answered as he was going off topic and off point most time .
