Are you sure you have followed Lukaku’s career because this is reading like recency bias. You can make a good argument that Lukaku is not a good fit for Tuchel’s system or not playing his best football because of a myriad of issues, including self inflicted issues but saying Lukaku can not play elite football is absolutely false and blasphemous.

Personally, I think if Chelsea/Tuchel/ Lukaku put the work in mastering and tweaking the tactics, Lukaku can be successful at Chelsea but I doubt Tuchel has that time, especially at this critical point of the season and that is why he is sticking with what works.

For me, it's the price tag. Yes he can play elite football, and yes he's probably suffering from slumped confidence, but it's what happens when he's not scoring that matters to me.

For £100m, you buy elite-level dynamism, which sets the player apart the moment he's on the ball.

Elite-level dynamism is what you see in their tactical play, technical awareness, and as I always say, their technical ability on the ball. It's what makes them go to the right channel, left channel, midfield, and destroy opponents, bring their team mates into play and improve overall technical structure of the team, even when they are struggling in front of goal.

This elite-level dynamism, Lukaku lacks. So when he's not scoring, it is not good to watch.

It's not a low block, we are just not pressing up front. Lukaku is just static.

It should be Havertz Werner in place of Lukaku Pulisic. We would not have a lot of chances. We need people who can play with the ball on the ground.

By way of seniority, there's like 5 options before him in the U21, U23, and Development squad. This position is probably going to Levi Colwill when he returns from loan.

But the fact that he gets the call to come in and play with the first team, in a position he's only ever played in training, and then shines whilst at it, is testament to boy's raw quality.

Absolutely.. Which nullified Conte's plan. He is one of the more intelligent coaches out there. He absolutely knows how to read opposing tactics and more importantly make adjustments to adapt to changes as they occur on the field. Tuchel knows how to use the personnel he has to execute his tactics, it may not be perfect but anyone who understands and can interpret tactics/ systems in football will respect Tuchel. I never underestimate him against big teams/ big managers

The prevailing circumstances is not the worse we have ever been, so come off this excuses. I would rather be Chelsea today than be Liverpool without their inspirational coach. Chelsea had no excuse not to win a team without a first team coach and our recent turmoil should have been source of inspiration rather than excuse not to celebrate a comeback draw. I will not worship mediocrity, I demand better and I know we can get better if the coach look beyond this excuses and maximises the full strength of each players.

Nonsense. So far you must be the only one in the whole world calling today's come-back performance/draw mediocre. So it really doesn't mean anything. If it means something, you will be coaching a side with the unique knowledge you bring to the game, along with your insatiable desire to "not worship mediocrity". But you are not.
