Ibime:I swear I have never seen a thing like that. I could have sworn he was in a different game. |
raumdeuter:I am willing to give this the benefit of the doubt. Just in case he is not personally responsible for his Social Media account. |
popizaino:The problem is that you always demand, expect, and decide results outside of prevailing circumstances. It's like you are not living in the very moment. We have our wing backs off injured, Havertz (not 100% and only in last minute because of Lukaku) and Werner off for extended periods. Kante and Kovacic playing their first full 90mins in forever, and the whole world now focused on Chelsea after our £100m striker detonated a nuclear bomb in the camp. But let's live under a rock and assume these things are not happening in our life time. Let's just demand more because we are passionate. |
raumdeuter:I am with you on this one. I really do not understand what he was doing. Just jogging in a straight line completely oblivious to danger. ![]() He tuned off. |
Ibime:The Kounde Klan already invaded the place. All these brittle people called fans these days. |
popizaino:Shameful performance. Tuchel Out!!! Passionate Fan ![]() |
Holy Bleep!!! |
popizaino:Why are you like this? |
Why the ball dey always bubble with Pulisic? |
Jorghinho is out |
Can't believe that faced with a clear and obvious case of disrespect and insubordination, some people are still interpreting it as a no big deal something. Na wa. Meanwhile, kudos to Tuchel for standing up. As I said in my last post, if he doesn't drop Lukaku, he will lose the dressing room. Even if we lose, we should stand by that decision. We cannot encourage outright chaos and indiscipline because of 3 points. Meanwhile dude has yet to offer an apology. I hope it's a joint plan. Otherwise, I cannot but interpret that as him being stubborn, probably completely oblivious of the consequences of what he's done. And that's a probably worse situation than the decision to make the interview in the first place. |
FBS:Well as you can see now, we have woken up to seeing what Tuchel thinks about it and it mirrors exactly what I said "needless noise" ......Unfortunately as we are finding out, what was released was just a part of what he said. Even it were true that things were going on, we have crossed this bridge at this club many times, it never ends well by talking to te press and saying silly things. It does not matter what is going on behind the scenes, as a professional, team unity should take precedence here; unless of course he has reached a point where he's resigned to leaving. If that's the case, he should leave us in peace and not pull the house down on his way out. On the point of him continuing to score goals, I think you miss something fundamental. What do the other players feel about what he has said? What do the coaching staff think abot what he's said. And that's where the long-term problem lies. If Tuchel plays Lukaku in the next game just after what he's said, then I guarantee you, he has lost the dressing room. If he doesn't play him and we lose the game, we sink further and he loses the dressing room. This is why this should never have happened. To make matters worse, we are learning that he made contact with the Journalist directly. |
Astrid4:If you think we are in a financial mess, then consider that our season may derail from here, leading to us dropping of the UCL, dropping out of the top four, firing the Manager and having to pay him out. Oya calculate how much you think we will lose as a consequence, if things do go seriously awry. |
Astrid4:No we are not. Inter can have him back for a cut price and we can face other options. It is better to have an average squad building towards a goal, than have a record signing who's expressed unhappiness at being at the club, and is expected to play. We will lose far more than any sell-back loss. Nothing can fast destroy the dressing room as what Lukaku has done. |
User09:No. This is not English media kan kan. Have you read everything he said? "I think everything that happened last summer was not supposed to happen like this… how I left Inter, the way I left the club, how I communicated with Inter fans – this bothers me because it was not the right time. Now it's the right time to share my feelings. I have always said that I have Inter in my heart: I know I will return to Inter, I really hope so. I am in love with Italy, this is the right moment to talk and let people know what really happened. 'I really hope from bottom of my heart to return to Inter not at the end of my career, but when I'm still at top level to win more together. “I want apologize to the Inter fan, timing of my words was wrong: what you did for me will remain forever"" |
Lukaku has thrown a spanner in the works. I am sorry but that is absolute needless nonsense at this point. As if it wasn't bad enough already, discord has entered the matter. This is really bad. |
donjazet:Exactly. And this is important information that should be seriously engaged. But you get people like Uncle Popiziano who go be like sell these 9 players and we will be fine. Sell them and do what? The guys are never about how can we improve what we have? It's always about sell this, sack that....once things go a little sideways. popizaino: |
I am not anti-Jorginho but if that game did not show anyone the scale at which the detrimental part of Jorginho's game can place a burden on the team, then you need a serious lesson in football. Odoi this and Mount that....if we play City with that line up and let them over run the midfield like that, they would have scored 8 clear goals and it would not matter if we took our chances. So clearly taking our chances is the secondary concern here. I love Jorginho but no, we cannot have our DM, 3 yards from play in midfield, pointing to others to take responsibility; eventually, luckily getting back into play, and falling over in our box at the slightest touch. Every player has strong and weak points. And I always believe that J5 is a good player. But unfortunately, I am not blind to see that the game showed clearly that our overall footballing ambitions are being sacrificed for the good that Jorginho supposedly brings. We will never win the league that way. Unfortunately, he is playing in the most important area of the game and too old already to improve. We are going to be taught a football lesson against Conte, Pep and Klopp next, if we show up with this type of midfield and attempt to go toe-to-toe with them. The only way we get something out of those games is to pack the bus and hide Jorginho's weaknesses. |
Complaints are too much. Apart from a well rested Lukaku, every other person had made a catalogue of errors. Even the normally reliable Mendy is making many mistakes. This one is shit .....That one is useless. Na wa. |
Lukaku don serve L. |
Ihebu4chelsea:What truth? We have conceded more than 2 goals in only 3 games so far this season. RLC played in only 2 of them. What happened to the last one? These 3 games have also conincided with the most irregularity we've had in the season so far with injuries and covid absences. There is no direct correlation between RLC playing, and us conceding goals. It's a myth propagated by those who don't like him. Criticise his failings all you want but that, is a myth. |
Unlimited22:Abeg abeg. Please stop this myth. |
99.9% probability to score. 2-0 |
What happened? Kovacic is off? |
BlueMann:Vale is hte biggest talent of them all to be fair. I was waiting to see what he could do but he's impressed me mostly by his composure. It's cagey up front so we are unlikely to see Bell's full potential but I think his movement has been good. I think Simmons is being extremely cautious not to play himself out of reckoning. |
BikeMan:I suspected but I wanted to be sure. Unbelievable. |
Who played that free kick? |
Harvey chance. Should have buried that. |
donjazet:We don't have to win always. Tonight mighty just be the night we discover Vale, Bell, and Simons are ready. |
Segedinho:Congrats Man. |
iykmora:Petr Cech told Musonda to leave Chelsea end of the season. After all this time, he is leaving. My heart breaks. I have waited for as long time for his return. |
