Yes, Chelsea will. Because this is probably the short-term replacement for the loss of Golovin. I interpret this as Chelsea probably have another long-term target that is unobtainable at this moment. If Chelsea had another long-term target, then Barkley, Fab, and RLC were not the first priority in the first place.

Jorginho/Kante/Kovacic is a much better midfield and a much better balance for defensive and offensive intent.

I was actually hoping that this season, we will no longer be in a position where we "need Kante" to not lose a game. It is a dangerous situation. I fear what could happen in the absence of Kante for a few games.
