Ibime: Israel is not bombing entire communities, Israel tells them where to evacuate to before tackling HAMAS in those areas
Israel could just drop bombs on the whole Gaza and wipe everyone out in 7 days if they wish
Yet they sacrifice thousands of their own soldiers to invade to be more surgical in their targeting
That is why only 55,000 Gazans have died (and these are inflated Hamas controlled figures which they revise down periodically) of which a good number of those are Hamas. Such is war.
Put the shoe on the other foot and Hamas will bomb all Israel civilians to death intentionally. This is the difference between those who share our Western values and those who don't.
Infact you only need to see the celebrations in Gaza on October 8th as hostages and dead bodies were paraded through the street to know who is genocidal and who is not.
If you don't like these facts and realities of war and collateral damage, you can keep getting triggered by anti-Semites and crying at every unintended shrapnel that kills someone while screaming genocide, that one na for your pocket. This is a zionist talking point. Because we can kill you in millions in 7 days if we wanted to and we haven't, you should be grateful for the few hundred of thousands we have killed. That is a dehumanising talking point. War crimes can be committed against only 100 people, even though protagonist is capable of doing same against millions. What matters are the facts! Palestinians were celebrating on 8th of October because for them, and unlike for you, history did not start on 7th October. Over 900 Palestinians had been killed by the IDF in the same year pre Oct 7th. Over 3000 people have in perpetual captivity with no charge pre 7th Oct. Over 400 of these captives are children under 15. If some took your child away for months, years, and prevented you from seeing them, or having access to them because they have more power than you, you will celebrate if oct 7th happened to that person. It's simple! You guys want to talk about the consequence of waging war, but only seem to be convenient talking about it in one direction. History did not start on Oct 7th mate. And for the Hamas nonsense, it is another round of justifying dehumanisation to defend genocide. If on October 7th, Hamas captured Israelis but ran into a village with 100k people, hiding inside of the village, using Israelis as human shields, will you request carpet bombing the place, because Hamas are hiding inside of Israel civilian territory? I know what the answer is. |

airmark: The usual escape strategy after goofing that JP played as a support cast and not a striker, in our games.
When you started sharing the same ignorant views with Lordfalcao, I could see you have shallow football knowledge.
JP as a support cast, must have been supporting breeze, the main cast, in the box. Because I do not have time to debate intellectually dishonesty people. You quote the same little part of a long post like 30 times now to make a point, knowing very well that the whole part of said post is of a different context to the nonsense you are intent on promoting. I do not debate intellectual dishonesty. I have no time for it. After everything you have said for years, imagine you trying to celebrate without shame, with your chest, that we signed someone who scored only 10 goals last season as our new number 9. That right there is debating without sense. Knowing fully well that events and stats don't support your position, but still trying to shoehorn it in anyway. Why should I spend my valuable time on such nonsense? |

That's their way. They would muddle up the water to deceive you, just because they don't want to accept that they goofed. Now they are renovating their stands, and now calling a striker leading the line, a support cast and shouldn't be called the striker.
The same Nateevs said here that no need buying another striker, Jackson is enough.
Below he explained what he meant by support casts, i.e those LW, RW and others that support our top 9, Jakujaku Jackson. But now, he is now calling our top 9, Joao Pedro, a support cast just because he doesn't want to lose argument.
You were all about support casts and against getting a shiny striker to replace your adopted Jakujaku boy, Jackson.
This is Nateevs distinguishing support casts from a striker and the need not to touch the striker but change the support casts.
It's shameful when these people goof they don't accept but use every ridiculous means to avoid the L. Terrible.
I am so elated that JP was instrumental to our becoming the World champions and his Jakujaku Jackson didn't score even 1 goal in the tournament. Man's not got time. If you can make Gucciboy tired of your repeated nonsense, then you know you have failed spectacularly. |

Sportsweb: so why did Maresca start him as Number 9 in the three appearances he made for Chelsea? Any idea? I can tell you the answer. It's for the exact same reason he always played Jacckson - the philosophy. And the philosophy is collective attacking success. Using the "no 9" to maximum effect/involvement in build-up play, to create an overwhelming amount of scoring chances for any player, not just the striker. And if you focused on the tactical display, you should realise that JP is being deployed in the exact same way as NJ. Drop deep, receive play with back to goal, carry CBs with you, make swift half-turns that dislodge oppo defensive structure whilst your mandem run into those spaces, or find your next man in midfield for the third-man pass that releases your wingers. The only difference here is, overall, JP is a better player than Jackson. So JP improves the collective attacking success. Might he end up scoring more goals than Jackson? Almost definitely. Seeing as he's a better overall player. Maresca is a proper support cast proponent ......to the letter. Maresca does not play JP as a no 9 because he's a better striker. The stats don't support it. If he needed a striker, Osimhen, Gyokeres, and all those 3 for 5 pounds strikers that Airmark introduces every week would have been bought. He instead focuses on what I described above - every man being good at goal-scoring, but every man getting a chance to score, and scoring it. Focusing on a striker sacrifices the entire philosophy for one man's gain. That's not the plan. That's never been the plan. The focus is less on how many goals the striker can score but how many goals he can make the team score. It's the reason why JP would play ahead of Delap, Guiu, et al. |

We have renewed positive mentality, desire and some serious quality. I am looking to see what we can do on all fronts. And like you, CL included. |

Enzo5: Airmark Ibime Nateevs Griffon Swiz123 bluemann lordfalcao
with this squad what are our top four chances next season if we don't add anyone else This is a very good squad, even without the extra signings. Although you left out Fofana and Anselmino. Barring any long-term injuries to Caicedo, Cucu or Palmer, I will say we will make top four for sure. I am however looking for us to do more than top four. Our development has evolved a few folds, but the more important thing being that Maresca has successfully built a strong winning mentality in this young squad from literally nothing. This winning mentality I expect will take us into title-contention zone. Therefore I am expecting us to be right up there. One thing that will set us differently from other teams is the tactical fluidity of our attack. I believe we finally have in this new crop of players, the tools to deal with low blocks where we constantly drop points, and productivity to create and score goals. And with Maresca having built and instilled in the team, several ways of playing, it's looking very good. |

JOAO PEDRO : "I'd say I am a striker. I like to play as a number nine. But I also like to feel free on the pitch. And that's what Enzo [Maresca] said to me, 'Play like a number nine but come deeper to link up with the other players'." Nope. You are the one deliberately obfuscating. Your position has always been that we need a traditional no 9. We then go out and sign someone who is still deciding what his best position is. Even you cast doubt upon his signing, asking on this forum where his strong position lies. This person then goes on to play no 9 because....well, he can. But you want to take glory for all of this foresight right? |

Ibime: More likely is collect Camavinga + £50m for Enzo since Madrid have shown interest and Alonso has not been making space for Camavinga. This solves Caicedo partner and Cucurella back up at LB in one move Very smart move. Just that I don't know if I want those players with Real Madrid and Barcelona hangover. That said, I love Camavinga. I would prefer two separate players. One in the mould of Morganor Kees Smit for the midfield - strong, aggressive and creative and then Halo for the back up. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nateevs(m): 11:25pm On Jul 13, 2025 |
nateevs: While this is largely true that he's played with inverted FBs, it is not true that he hasn't done anything different for other games.
For instance, at least two games in the CWC, instead of an inverting FB, he's experimented with a full-on attacking FB providing the width. This allows him to play with an unconventional RWF/LWF like Palmer, who then tucks in to do AM duties along with their WF duties where necessary.
That extra body required for midfield overload in an inverting FB is then created by what is now the less advancing no 8. He uses Enzo for this.
It's complex to explain without a tactic board, but if you've seen what I am explaining, you can see it unfold. And he has to do this, because he knows that he needs to develop solutions for when we play the likes of PSG.
Contrary to the general belief on here. I think he's actually a smart tactical manager. Inexperienced, but smart. @swi123 Do you see what I was trying to explain earlier today? |
