So we are comparing Enzo with Vintinha now?

Vintinha is lord-level, ultra press-resistant, controlling, 95% pass-rate midfielder that never misses a beat.

It's okay to like Enzo but please don't rate him alongside Vintinha. You know what type of team we will evolve into if we had a Lavia, Caicedo, Vintinha midfield?

Aside from Madueke and Delap, Jackson is one of the most affordable attackers in our entire squad. He is not Haaland, Kane, or Lewandowski, but he is one of the few forwards who can consistently chip in with 10 to 12 goals a season, along with a few assists. Below is a screenshot of his PL stats. Make of it what you will.
Pure, unadulterated common sense. Anyone who has a contrary opinion to this is just capping.

Notice that Pedro goals came from cutting in from the left wing position despite playing CF

Don't write off the fact that he will play wings and still score from there which will give us a chance to get another goalscorer on the pitch in the CF position (Delap). That will leave us with 3 forwards who all score goals rather than just 2.
A tactical Swiss Army Knife. Like I said, what we went looking for in Nkunku, Felix, Jackson and Enzo combined in one guy.

That’s just it.
Below is a post from one frustrated Chelsea fan about him.

My submission
Madueke is undoubtedly talented, but football isn't just about individual skill, it’s about how that skill contributes to the team. His tendency to hold onto the ball too long, lack of awareness to team work, etc etc .
The goal of any player especially a winger is either to score or create assists . Even if you complete a thousand and ten dribbles in a game, it amounts to nothing if there’s no end product. Until Madueke starts playing more for the team and less for personal flair, it will be hard to fully rely on him in a serious setup.
He's fundamentally not that type of player. I am normally a Mr Youth player, and Madueke is the type that I will defend to the end. But he's got no tactical nous. There's nothing "Team" about anything he does offensively and defensively. He's an isolationist to the very core, and that analysis about him is spot on.

He cannot be coached.

Wetin do am wey im dey recover? He's barely played any football.

I really hope we see a time where he can shake off this fitness issue. A fit and available Lavia is a player you build title-winning teams around. Such quality that breaks down so easily.

Are you not already sick and tired of the overbooking in wing positions

Can you name any wingers at Liverpool the EPL Champions aside Salah and Diaz

It's this wingers overbooking feewlishness that Emenalo used to do back then that made us chase away Salah and KDB

Not to mention puts the manager in a tactical hamstring of having to practically play 4-2-4 to accommodate all the wingers while one of the key components of that 2 in midfield is not fit for purpose to carry the workload

I am looking for how to sell Madueke AND Pedro Neto (as well as Nkunku, Sterling, Felix, Mudryk and Carney) WITHOUT ANY FURTHER ADDITION of wingers and we will still be good and overstocked with Gittens. Joao Pedro, Palmer, Estevao and Tyrique

That's 5 wingers for 2 positions, people still dey mention Kudus and Nnwaneri. Utter madness
From a tactical perspective, Maresca's system is heavily reliant on wingers. So winger provisioning takes priority.

From a numbers perspective, we had Mudryk, Sancho, Madueke, Neto and still went and signed Estevao.

Right now, we have lost Sancho, Mudryk and Madueke. If somehow we kept all 3, we still would have kept Estevao on top. Right now, we only have Gittens as replacement. 3 out, 1 in. But I ask for 3 out, 3 in and it's a problem? No!

We are not overprovisioning the department, considering we now have CL.

Business wise, if Nwaneri becomes available as a result of Arsenal mis-purchasing Madueke, you take that opportunity. Because worst case scenario, you make money. We are in PSR era baba, we must flog valuable assets year in year out to stay afloat. You know the drill.

Nkunku, Sterling, Felix, and the rest are all gone. Not part of the squad. Nothing concerns me with those one. If we can move CSO, we can move them.

words like "miles apart" and "Nwaneri will match all of Madueke's Chelsea's numbers in a single season if given the same number of minutes. We are going into 4 competitions. Kudus, Estevao, Nwaneri for right wing"

How your mind is telling you that nwaneri will leaving being second rw for arsenal and become Chelsea's third right winger is doesn't amaze me with some of the unrealistic posts I have read from you.

You over simplified madueke's dribbling ability, and exaggerating nwaneri's final decision making, I bet you madueke had a better last season with the same ideology you are using to justify nwaneri by claiming "if he had the same minutes"

Guy it's not just that you undermine madueke and make it seem like arsenal is foolish by saying his ability is "flatter-to-deceive ability" it shows how short term your memory of his ability is, this your post is so unrealistic that you assumed nwaneri will go to strasbourg that's if he ever joins chelsea.
Utter nonsense. I don't care about Madueke's dribbling ability if it doesn't translate to significant output. It is indeed what it is - flattering to deceive. There's no oversimplification of anything. I would even pity the guy if he was hardworking, but off the ball, bro will be strolling about like he's prime Messi.

No be here I dey when I dey talk say Estevao will bench Madueke on the first day, and peops were making the same case for Madueke then. Now y'all watch Estevao against Cucurella and you certify.

You think Arsenal will spend £50m on Madueke and still make Nwaneri 2nd choice? What manner of business are you proposing? Nwaneri wants guaranteed playing time. He already has a problem with Saka clouding his chances. Then Arsenal add Madueke? If he's happy with this, why are Chelsea sniffing around?

We can convince him that he stands a better chance with establishing himself with likes of Estavao - age mates, or worse case, we give that chance to him at Strasbourg. If it doesn't work out in the end, we sell him for big money in 2/3 years. Don't argue with good business.

Boehly already met with his parents.

There's no need getting both kudus and nwaneri once madu is sold looking at our business so far. Only one should come in while the rest of the funds should be allocated to the defence and chasing away that baba ijebu merchant.
It always looks rosy at the start of the season, until Gittens and Estevao are out injured, and then we realise our only options are Neto and Tyrique for a game against Real Madrid. We are not going to be top seeds in the CL grouping.

I think we have all gotten used to being out of the CL and completely forgotten what strength in depth looks like. We have to do well in the CL, and ensure top four in the PL.

Last year we made top 4 by largely being able to play second-fiddle sides in the Conference League for an extended period, yet fatigue still dealt us a big blow.

We need strength in depth.

I beg to disagree

We Chelsea fans have a way of valuing other clubs players over ours
Drisham, you see the one thing that sets each of Nwaneri and Kudus miles apart from Madueke is the most important thing in tactical football - decision-making in high-value areas.

Madueke's acceleration from rest is that thing we see in him that makes people believe. It is in actual fact, flatter-to-deceive ability. It translates to very little in real football. Kudos and Nwaneri think of what to do with the ball first

Nwaneri will match all of Madueke's Chelsea's numbers in a single season if given the same number of minutes.

We are going into 4 competitions. Kudus, Estevao, Nwaneri for right wing, Gittens, Neto, Tyrique for LW and getting £50m for Madueke (knowing we have Quenda in next season), is the exact definition of great squad building, strength in depth and superb footballing business.

We have the advantage of owning and sending Nwaneri to Strasbourg if we want to, and flipping him for £50m in two years,
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nateevs(m): 1:42am On Jul 06, 2025
If Chelsea qualify for the finals at the CWC, we would have made back the entire transfer values for Delap and Pedro.

Arsenal agreeing personal terms with Madueke but about to lose Nwaneri to us makes me laugh. 😀😀😀😀

Please make this happen. £50m + addons...... Then Nwaneri and Kudus.
