What we have done is given Villa the belief that they won't go down massively again.
If we started the way we did against them last time, we could have hit the bar twice at least.
That will scare Villa, force them to make mistakes and they'll eventually break.

Unfortunately we've done the opposite and now they believe they can go on to win.

I am not saying we won't win. . but it'll be reminiscent of typical Chelsea wins.
Hard fought, hard earned. Scary moments always and totally tiring ourselves out when we have a game on Tuesday.

This is what Anelka offers.
He comes back to pick the ball, pulls two players with him and allows advancing mid-fielders to run in.
He is hard to dispossess off the ball. He may not score but we will score bucket loads.
Drogba can be nullified by the Villa defenders.
We could win but it would be a hard-earned one.

Or we could play with Anelka and play these actors off the park.
CArllotti played Drogba to keep him happy; nothing tactical.
