We need to find someone that can hold the ball and run at the Argentines. .
Right now their defence is just too comfy. .
Else, we will really need a miracle to score

Wait a minute, is madrid asking Robinho to pay his release clause? 150m Euros?

Official announcement on the Real Madrid website,

http://www.realmadrid.com/cs/Satellite/es/1202741073224/noticia/Noticia/COMUNICADO_OFICIAL_2008-08-22.htm

Meaning

1. Real Madrid are aware of Robinho's words whose content saddens them due to the high consideration and personal and professional esteem the club has for the player.

2. Real Madrid will never retain a player contrary to his will, which means there is not other option but to accept his unilateral decision to rescind his contract if that is what the player wants."

That's it man. . push for the transfer Robie. . and come on to the bridge. I 'l show you a few friends (ladies of course), you'l never regret it. .

@ibime,

Watching the game plan carefully, you'l find that the three in midfield never advance into the attack at the same time. .There's always the discipline to leave one behind, Along with Mikel, Carvalho and Terry we can always form a flat four when a counter attack beckons. Plus you need pacy full backs like Bosingwa and Ashley Cole to play such a system. Whatever the case is, there are always flaws to any system. The best thing to do is to score as many as you can to avoid defeat. . you can only win when you score anyway.

@Akola

i know you still haven't accepted LFS . . I hope you find space in your heart for him.

@Kit

We are bigger than Arsenal . . like we've been for four straight seasons now. . . Kakhi no be leather. . Hate all you can mate!!!!

@Jackal

I won't tell you we will win our reamining games. At the same time you need to also treat the season like, "What if Chelsea go on to win their next 20 games"? I tell you this is a different Chelsea and staying behind this time hoping to come back from the dead will not be tolerated. . .

Don't expect us to drop points again Wigan. While it is much possible for you to drop points against Portsmouth . . . you'l already be 4 pts behind. . . with Liverpool to come for you and Tottenham for us. . . You might be 7pts behind before the stamford bridge game. . and guess what? you might be 10pts after that.

Umhhhhhhh the odds are stacking up erh? Nothing delights me more than seeing ManU drop points.

@Jackal

SO you guys drew umh? Wow I told you start with that "that's how we did it last season" thing and we'l be so far away from you, you'l think we started the league last season.

ManU did not win the league last season because of Ronaldo, they did because Chelsea had problems. . all problems solved this season and a revamped side with a determination to fight on all fornts, every point will be very crucial to y'all.

If we win our next games again Wigan and Tottenham, you will have to beat us to stay in the league. Cos you'l probaly be 9 pts away. grin grin

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Chelsea Fans: Identify Yourselves Here (Old) by nateevs(m): 4:00pm On Aug 17, 2008
@Ibime,

Good point raised about the movement of our players. With such tactics, we could play for 120mins and still be fit for the next game mid-week because no single player has to do too much running at a time. The only two players that could be tired from time to time are the full backs. . and that is why LFS has convinced back-ups in Bridge, Ferriera and Ivanovic to stay. With Bridge being a better holder of the ball as well as a better crosser and Ivanovic being a stronger player than Bosingwa, it promises to get even better . . .

The only thing that gives me worry is how we can still gel without Deco and that is why I was clamouring for a Diego. . because his style is just like deco's except a faster version. Anyways Diego is not here, let's aw many games Deco can go without being injured.

You will also feel confident like I pointed out some weeks ago, when we meet a weak opposition, we are bound to flog them. It doesn't matter who we beat 7-0 in pre-season. . it's whether we could beat a weak opposition that much even though we are stronger. . years ago we'l be lucky to draw with Barnsley. . . now I can only not imagine what we could do to them.

Like Akola and Somze said, Let's chill, hope the spirit in the team continues to blossom. .
Good times to come my friend. . . .

Wait a minute. . . We got Deco for £8m, wisest bargain of the transfer window.

A good way to start the season.

Nateevs, Ibime,

Any areas of concern in our play?

Have you guys seen the new Pepsi ad where Lampard is dressed like some Chinese dude, Fabregas is playing the guitar and Henry is dressed for dinner? Absolutely hilarious. grin grin
I have seen it the advert. . . Loved it.

To the match. .

A delight to watch . . though I am not too surprised as I had seen a good part of it in the pre-seasons. .I was only anxious to see how we could pull it off against a premiership side and this far, I am very impressed.
One thing I have not seen though is the ability to keep playing those tactics against a good counter attacking team. With our advancing full backs almost like wingers, a good counter attacking team might find loop holes. . the only thing I noticed in pre-season was that Mikel and one more midfielder always stayed back to to fall into a flat four should there be a counter attack. . however, what I noticed was against a weak opposition. . I want to see it against ManU.

Roman is glad. I am glad. (We owners of the club) It doesn't matter what you all feel . . . just kidding!!!!!

I also want to see how Drogba will fit into this formation . . my first guess is that it is not possible. . but I saw LFS trying to bring out the best in Malouda. . who knows what he could do with Drogba.?

With Drogba, Essien, Ivanovic, DiSanto as options, I think we will give it a good fight and I am absolutely confident of a trophy this season.
It continues counting 83 matches unbeaten at home. . Y'all aint' gat a clue. . . The premiership is blue!!!!

Deco will be man of the match for many matches to come. . . He was born to play football. . Meanwhile Mikel has been very decent as well.
