I look forward to a candid opinion from nairaland brothers and sisters. Get an internationally recognized Accounting certification e.g ACCA, and u would even compete with the British and Europeans for same role. |

Browncity: Good day guys.. I really need your advice and a very good analysis of what I want to say. I applied for a security guard role on DUbizzle .. one of the best sites for jobs in uae.. And I got one for a security job in Oman..because it was opened to all nationals.. The watsapp number of the agent that advertised the job which of course was that of Oman told me to send my docs that when I get my visa, I shud pay him service charges. Now just mins ago, I got my employment letter with a good offer of 220omani Ryal. The company name is Hawk eye security services but I can't find the logo attached to it on Google. Now I have heard of slavery and other despicable things done in Oman. Please house.. what should I do? Because I don't want to end up a slave over there. Anyone with good suggestions? Thank you if you think its a genuine offer, then there is no problem with accepting the offer, Oman is bad for only ladies. and a security job is the most decorated menial job you can ever do. |

justi4jesu: You need to go back or send it for the UAE Embassy stamp in Abuja before they can authenticate in MOFA Dubai. justi4jesu: Yes you have to go to MOFA Dubai (Address: Khalid Bin Al Waleed Rd, Bur Dubai - Dubai) to get the attached seal on your documents. Closest Metro station is BURJUMAN. @ Justi, I personally haven't heard of MOI in UAE asking for UAE Seal from MoFA Dubai to process a level 1 or 2 skill application. they only ask to see the Attestation from home Country. unless its a new rule. can you please comment on this? I believe that was then when they do UAE attestation only in UAE. |

Cypha8: Hello, I authenticated my credentials (got the UAE seal) a few years ago. Back then, UAE Embassy was not required . It's also been more than 2 years.
1) Is the authentication still valid or I have to do it again? 2) I authenticated my statement of result, does the UAE MOL still accept statement of result?
Thanks... How did you get the UAE Seal without going to the Embassy? |

KESHYLOVE: Good day house, pls I need information, I came to Dubai with direct employment, my offer letter from Nigeria says labour assistant but my visa carries security guard, on getting here they tried to push to mi to cleaner, which I refused n I started working as security with basic salary of 940aed monthly, its been 3months nows, no salary, and for the past one month, nobody in the company has gone off(1day off in a week) pls how can I leave this company peacefully without ban or fines or been deported back buy d company.....thanks if you were employed as a labour assistant, then its a cleaner Job, you were supposed to stay in the cleaning job as its less stressful than a security job, also have you been certified by DPS? if no, then tell them to enroll you. cos if you have a DPS certification and the visa and contract you signed in UAE says Security, then you can inform DPS that your salary is 940aed and they would take it up with the company as the rules in DPS as at 3rd January 2017 is that the minimum acceptable basic salary for a Licensed guard is 1640 aed. i would work you over with that. |

drkay: God day e-fams, please I need some clarifications. > Will they give my wife and kids PR if I eventually secure a job in uae or they have to enter with a visiting/ tourist visa each time they want to come over? > Does any child delivered in uae by an immigrant has any advantage over ppl who were not? > Does their post graduate certificates has any relevance outside the Arab countries? pls how affordable are the programs? > Is it true that 90days multiple entry visa has been suspended? > This last one is relative people don't like to address it but please do well by giving me an idea for the sake of the fear of unknown which am having right now. Based on the cost of living over there, how much do u think should be my benchmark there if am already earning like 400k here out of which am not paying rent. 1. If u secure a job of 3500aed and above with accommodation, then you can put your wife and children in your visa. 2. NO 3. Sure, cos most of them are affiliated to Universities in the 1st world countries, but expensive. 4. Its still available, but not worth the price to get it. 5. Then aim for 6k and above job. unless cos of the obodo oyibo factor you can accept 4k with accomodation |

88natzy: Good day house. Please I need urgent clarification. I want to travel to Bahrain and the agent Someone contacted me to has promised me job already asap. I have made payments and for Bahrain visa to him. My questions are. 1. Do I need to verify my certificates at MOFA , MOE etc.? 2. Is it possible for me to further my education while on a contract work of two years. 3. What are the challenges a Nigerian graduate would face in Bahrain. 3, Is it true that one has to adopt an Islamic name to make ends in Bahrain? 4. Is Bahrain under UAE dominance? 1. Yes if the job he got you requires a certificate. 2. Yes you can if you can afford tuition, and have the time to study. 3. No challenges, so far as you abide to the rules Governing your work place, and do you job as instructed. 4. NO. |

azarenka: So, this means that, there is no need for the person to do attestation again.Just come into the UAE and go to the embassy to the country where he/she did the MBA and attest. No need for WAEC/NECO attestation. Please certify,if this is actually what you mean? This is a very vital information and will help lots of people on this forum. NO that is wrong. if the MBA was gotten in from Germany, just take it to the German Embassy they would attest it for you, but it might take a lil time. then from there you head to UAE embassy |
