its possible but be alert wen the start asking for u to send money. It might b genuine or a cheap Deira job scam.

Why work 30days without getting paid or was that in your Employment agreement? But i think you will need NOC from your previous company because you haven't yet finished your existing contract with them if the new company is under MOL.

I don't think anyone processed their visa themselves Dubaivisa.net and airlines can't give u 3months visa assuming that's wat u need. Even if they do you have to book hotel accommodation from them for the 90days which would defeat its purpose. Also u don't need account statement.

Hi...when you get a job in uae usually it is with a 2 or 3 year contract. Most times if you get a low pay job ...say 1000 aed then you want to change to a high pay job like 5000 aed the most important issue is what kind of job switch. Are you going from labourer to engineer. In that case if your credentials can prove you are competent and the new company can really pull their weight then the old company will have to let you go. It's especially better if your boss in previous company is a caring and understanding guy. Then they will give you an NOC...no objection certificate. Which allows you to crossover. But you probably cannot switch jobs or company within a year. After a year possibly. But within a year may be difficult.

if I cancel my contract wit my company do I still need noc? Because my company do not want to accept my resignation. Saying that I have to accept to work within the 30days notice period without my basic salary. But mol asked me to tell them to put it in writing and they still refuse. Me don tire . cos my new firm say na my cross to bear but they would wait for me. Do u know any other means I can use?

Mr, 75% increase isn't true within 2years especially if you came with a working visa contract. I may assume u upgraded from 600dh to 1000dh and not from 1500dh t0 5000dh.

I got an invitation early last year as a microwave Engineer but was unavailable.they prefer recruiting from overseas in certain post to cut cost. My friend was recruited from Ghana wit a salary of 5000 where same company offered same position to someone on ground 7000 and the person turned it down.

You exit to Oman and come back within 24 hours

3 Months UAE Visa and ticket to Oman 2250AED.
Security Deposit 1000AED (refundable at the expiration of your 3 months)
Airport Authority security deposit 5050 AED (AED 5000 Refundable when you come back from Oman)

yea that's the procedure. But u must exit and comeback wit a new visa. Either to the neighboring country or to ur home country for more fortifications

Hi nattybanta, d construction coy my friend wrks for in dubai is requesting he pays 60% of his resident permit out of 7000aed (dat dey will be deducting frm his salary mthly) amounting to 4000aed. He's complaining dat d job is very stressful and he's being paid just 1100aed.

na wa ooo. Why should he settle for such and still accept to pay for his visa @7k aed its better he just go and look for a security firm and pay if need be. Cos I don't advice people to go for a labour/construction job.

what they don't get is that even all nationalities get their passports held...so far as that is company policy. But i feel like the higher your salary the less likely ur passport will be held

once you are not in level 4 or 5 no one touches ur passport.

k...don't give em your precious passport...hold it tight and romance it. Preserve it and when a company pays you salary they ask you to keep visa say no....then when one useless nija bank asks you for collateral give them land that was dedicated to your whole generation for 1.5 million naira loan...that makes more sense

all these talk about holding of passport again. Just sponsor someone's visa to UAE then know if u would have peace till the person exits.

In respect to the argument regarding uae being hell or a safe haven, I believe its based on the condition u find urself. And also weda ur salary is 1000aed its still better Dan being in 9ja doing nothing meaningful. Uae is a land of opportunities once you are focused in achieving ur life dreams.

Good day house, please I had this Nigerian guy introduced to me by someone, said VISA was 180 that I should pay part then full when VISA is ready. After 4 weeks, due to some delays as he claimed, says it's ready, I asked to at least see a copy even if it's snapped since I can't use that to travel, he's insisting that the Local he did the visa with has refused to grant him access to snap unless full payment is made then he forwards the VISA, please my question is: don't know if this guy can be trusted. donno what to say to suit u. But since u are not here, they would want him to pay the balance before he takes the visa. Don't know if your friend is genuine or not. Just follow ur instinct to either win all , loose part or loose all. What's ur full name and passport number Lemmie try to see if u have a visa or not
